Guys tanong ko lang every year ba nila binabago yung list ng nominated occupations? Pati kung wala ka job offer di na pwede yung 190 visa?

@gllmqz yes every fiscal year sila nagbabago..base sa requirements nila yes 190 with job offer.. pero gaya nga ng nasa title nag aacept na sila for visa 489 without job offer

@gllmqz pwede ka mag apply online.. meron mga company/employer na willing mag sponsor pero super slim ng chance na yun... why don't you try yung visa 489?

@gllmqz yup much better yung 190.. yun din ang aim ko e pero if ever na mahirap talaga makuha yung ITA na 190 kunin ko na yung 489 na invitation skn.

it is possible to get a job offer in Tasmania maybe for skilled workers like trades, farmers or animal husbandry occupations.

190 vs 489. obviously, much better ang 190 but if you cant get 189 or 190 then maybe its time to face the reality. dont get 489 if you are half-hearted, you can wait until australian immigration change the rules but as you are aware coming to Australia is getting harder and harder so dont expect na mare-reverse ang situation at magiging mas madali. it will not happen.

hehe in case lang po
kasi wala n kmi time to take another Ielts mg 40 n asawa ko kaya bababa points namin then last week suddenly ng change daw to 6 nlang kaya praise God n lodge n application nmn nun sunday!

may nakpasa n po ba ng visa 489 so far?

yes, immigration requires at least competent english for all 489 applicants but I think Tassie has specific requirements for their SS. send an email to Tasmania SS to confirm if you like. this is the link to their website.

nag inquire po ako kahapon sa Tasmania. nag reply sila via my personal email ad. visa 489 for overseas applicant, proficient english po kailangan.

Hi guys,

Quick update from Tasmania State migration. The processing time of their SS has increased from 2 weeks up to 8 weeks reason being was they have received huge amount of applications especially from overseas the past weeks/months which at some point they were not expecting and/or were not aligned with their current manpower.

The current timelines does not mean that all applicants will need to wait 8 weeks, it varies depending upon the application and/or occupation.

So dun sa mga nagsubmit ng EOI sa Tassie, be patient lang. They have to follow certain processes as part of their validation.

update lang guys. 6 weeks na since pinasa ko ang tassie application ko. nag email ang tassie kaninang umaga na kaka-assign lang nila ng case officer. huhu.. so technically ngayon pa lang ang count ng 2-8 weeks processing time.

@jaceejoef be patient lang kc they were inundated by heaps of applications beyond their expectation pero good news that your application has been assigned to CO. Good luck!

nung nag email sayo na may naka assign ng CO, dun pa lang start ang count ng 20 days processing time?

@jaceejoef 2 emails lang natanggap ko sa kanila. one is yung confirmation ng online application ko upon submission tpos yung decision na ng application.. it took me 20 working days bago ko na received yung invitation upon lodgement ng online application ko.

baka nga masyadong madami ng applicants recently kaya matagal ang CO assignment.

@jacjacjac yup mukang madaming nag apply tlga sa tassie at hindi nila inaasahan yung surge ng application.. pero sa case mo mukang malapit na yan.. pinaka matagal na siguro yung next week.

oh ic.. kasi nagbayad ako ng $200 South Australia (Visa 489). Nag aantay nalang ako ng result.. just incase mag negative ang result (hopefully hindi ) mag a-apply ako sa Tassie.

@carlo77 hindi yan mag nenegative result.. kelan ka ba nag apply sa SA? as long as na meet mo yung reqs nila at nung nag apply ka may slot pa positive yan for sure.
