    Hi sa lahat ng engineers!

    Patulong naman po.
    I'll try to explain my whole case here.

    I'm a civil engineer trying to prepare my files for EA Assessment.

    Right now, I have 65 points total but work experience of 3 years is not yet included, so there is a possibility for a maximum of 70 points if everything goes well.

    First work (Philippines 1 yr and half)

    Primary Documents- no problem
    Secondary Documents- no problem

    Current work ( Japan almost 2 yrs experience) -

    Primary Documents- no problem

    Optional po yung 2.1 & 2.2 or 3.1 & 3.2

    2.1 ITR
    2.2 SS Insurance / Superfund / Provident Fund / Retirement Report

    3.1 Work Permit/ Residence Permit
    3.2 Official Contract Document from Ministry of Labor includes
    wage, title and employer name.

    2.1 & 2.2 or 3.1 & 3.2 should include employer's name and employment period.

    wala kaming ITR, at wala kaming benefits such as SS Insurance etc.
Meron di po akong payslip and bank account.

    1. Baka po may general opinion or advice po kayo. Please share po.

    3. Kung di na ko magclaclaim ng 5points at icoconsider lng ung 1st job which is only 1 yr and half experience, need pa din po ba magbayad RSEA?

    Pero you might need RSEA sa visa lodgement.

    @jhazz01 yup! RSEA kasi is for work assessment naman. Halimbawa, gusto mong iparelevant assessment kay EA na tama ung claimed experience years and occupation mo. Gets ba? Hirap explain. Haha!

    @zballesteros i will answer your questions based on my experience and base na din sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forum dati.
    1. kung confident ka na kaya mong iprove ang lahat ng claimed relevant experience mo, you may opt not to do RSEA.
    2. it will help you prove to dibp all your claimed points on experience.
    3. your visa can be denied if dibp thinks you overclaimed points.
    4. i did only the standard cdr. at that time my reasons of doing only the standard cdr are:
    4.a i was confident that i have enough documents to prove all my claimed relevant
    experience to DIBP.
    4.b i did not want EA to deduct some years of experience which they usually did.
    4.c to save money.
    hope this helps. in the end it's your own decision to make.
    good luck on your application.

    kaya natagalan sa pagpasa ng cdr kasi i took my time when revising my cdr, 6 months naman binigay na timeframe sa akin to resubmit it. but to give you an idea, eto comment sa CDR ko:

    Please consider this feedback relevant to all CDRs.
    To support your CDRs, please present your exposure into civil engineering methodology details.
    Show your considerations within general civil engineering design methodology on your projects to understand your engineering value.
    For example. What would you do to confirm that the design options are aligned with the project constructability and project program requirements? Place a particular emphasis on the nature and timing of the interface between structures and environment construction.
    Give details of:
    - Your design review that you completed to determine which structures were required and the appropriate design standards that were applicable;
    - Demonstrating your consideration of geometric design issues in the context suitability;
    - Your communication with other consultants such as getting geotechnical, environmental, architectural, landscape advice;
    - What unusual assessment was completed by you? For example, an assessment of the proximity to existing traffic and loadings during construction to determine their influence on design; or Identification of likely constructability issues, environmental and social constraints;
    - Concept design calculations that were carried out by you to determine the suitability of solutions and to confirm capacity of the permanent layouts;
    - Your input into integration of the civil design with urban design strategy;
    - Ethical concerns, such as Safety in Design workshop and Risk Management workshop; reviews, following the completion of the initial designs, a round of reviews including peer review, inter-disciplinary reviews and construction reviews; finalisation of the concept layout – final concept designs that were completed following receipt of comments from a range of reviewers.

    @jeplii Wala po sa pages ang sukatan. Nasa number of words po. I believe it's between 1000-2500. Better check sa new MSA. Yup pwede po kayo lang ang magprocess sa EA, no need to hire an agent. Most of the professionals here DIY lang po :)

    hi everyone, meron po ba sa inyo nakaencounter ng ganitong comment from CO?

    "Please provide evidenc e that will support your career episode (except the reference letter that you already provided) like a ppreciation from your superior, customers, professor through emails, awards, etc."

    would like to ask for advice. hindi na kasi ako connected sa company so hindi ako makakakuha ng previous emails. saka usually verbal acknowledgement lang naman ang nangyayari. TYIA! :)

    @zballesteros hello! Bale sa first company ng asawa ko, nagbigay kami ng duties niya. Pero ang sabi ng HR nila, pag yun daw need nila ipaverify pero meron daw silang copy ng job description niya (ung pinopost sa jobsites), if okay daw yun kay hubby, yun na lang daw ang ilalagay nila. Turns out, okay naman at kumpleto.

    Sa second company naman niya, sa agency kami humingi, kami ang nagbigay ng lahat ng details pero purely details lang. Sila pa rin ang gumawa ng mismong letter.

    @zballesteros this is uasually the case naman e. My clients would do the draft letter tapos we double check if tama format and na-addressyung tasks ng occupation based dun sa standards ng Australia. Pag ok na, that's the time they go to the employer to have it signed. Syempre yung employer will verify the job tasks written there Kung tama naman, they will sign it, Kung imbento yung tasks of course they won't. You can't expect the employer/supervisor to know exactly what's needed to mention and Kung anong format ang kailangan sa that's expected talaga from the person asking for the reference letter.

    @zballesteros ganyan din ginawa ko pero in letter format. i included my employment details like date hired/ last day of job. pinalagay ko rin kung ilan ang working hours ko per week (kasi parang they need to know if full time or part time). i also included details on the salary and total annual compensation package. hindi na kelangan ng signature mo, kahit yung sa company na lang. nilagyan ko lang nung email address at direct phone line nung signatory para sure
