    hi guys! good to hear that some of our kababayans are getting their visas granted.Really inspiring!!!
    Anyway, anyone who used singpost in sending their SS application sa NSW? a bit frustrated kc almost 2 weeks na wala pang update ung pinadala kong docs. anong experience nyo about their service?

    Hi, we used Singpost to send our documents to CPA Australia - wala naman problema, in a week dumating naman sya sa Melbourne... :)

    Did it come with tracking number ba? Try also calling the helpline of NSW, they do respond naman.

    I am reading the VETASSESS requirements and as far as I know, hindi requirement ng VETASSESS ang IELTS for their assessment..

    Yes, kindly give some links po. By the way my skillset is Internal Auditor, kabilang sa Group A ng VEtassess. HIndi ko kasi makita din sa website nila yung specific requirements for IELTS. Nalilito din ako, alam ko kasi plang required na IELTS Academic at least 7 band for external auditors yata and accountant pero under CPAA sila. Thanks ng madami =)

    @vhoythoy - to be sure, I would suggest you contact VETASSESS directly. As far as I know, hindi marami kasi dito ang nagpa-assess sa VETASSESS hence there is not much knowledge to be share for this particular information.

    Wow, 12K for PEP and then ngayon wala ka na rin halos chance for PR status. Yung nagpa-decide sakin umalis ng SG eh yung 30 days limit for EP kung mawalan ka ng work, since dependent ko anak ko, kung biglang mag-tanggalan ng work mapipilitan mahinto school ng anak ko rin. Good luck satin mga taga-SG na papunta na ng AU.

    They rejected me and my wife twice in our PR application - so this in itself made us decide that we need to look for other places as Singapore is only temporary.

    I am thankful that Australia presented itself! :)

    PR kami except si bunso, what turned us off naman eh ung sa schooling ng mga bata, imagine least priority ka if PR or foreigner. can't afford naman ang IS.. hay..life..praying for AU talaga.

    PR kami except si bunso, what turned us off naman eh ung sa schooling ng mga bata, imagine least priority ka if PR or foreigner. can't afford naman ang IS.. hay..life..praying for AU talaga.
    same reason here, PR reject kming lahat, mwawalan ng access anak ko sa better quality ng education dahil kami ay banyaga. :) nag-book nko ng flight this Jan, hanap ng work, tpos pasunurin ko n pmilya ko.

    Same here, PR din kami ng family ko dito sa SG... ang realisation namin is sa schooling din ng mga bata, though you cannot deny na high quality education talaga... kaya lang sobra ang pressure sa studies to think na sa Primary school palang mga anak ko... paano pa kaya sa pagdating ng Secondary, College and hindi lahat may chance mag University :(

    I don't think this is a problem - my take on this is both of you are applying on your own merit, kung sino ang mabigyan ng invitation, sya yung mag-apply ng visa.

    Issue cguro IF one person applies in the EOI more than once with different scores. :)

    sa akin din im thinking kung apply ko pa ng PR ang 3 months-old anak ko:) malamang di din ma approve.... di na siguro kailangan:) dalawa kong friends ko di din na approve anak nila . Kailan po ma expire PR ninyo?

    @Cleon 16 months old ang anak ko ngayun. inapply ko sya ng PR nung 5month old sya. pero after 4 months processng, rejected. wala na yata naapprove na baby ngayun.
    sa Sep 2013 ang expiry ng PR namin. so malamang surrender na namin PR.

    June 13 2012 - ACS application, July 21 20012 - IELTS exam, July 24 2012 - ACS result suitable, Aug 3 2012 - IELTS result, my EOI submitted, Aug 24 2012 - hubby ACS application, Sep 1 2012 - hubby IELTS exam, Sep 14 2012 - hubby IELTS result, Sep 24 2012 - hubby ACS result, hubby EOI submitted, Oct 1 2012 - 189 visa invitation (hubby primary), application lodged, Oct 26 - CO allocated - Adelaide GSM Team 7

    baka pwede makahingi ng insights regarding my case.

    got rejected sa vetassess kasi ung edu qualification (bs fine arts) ko eh walang koneksyon sa nominated job ko (vocational teacher). nega na rin ung work exp ko because of that.

    been teaching here sa singapore for the last 8 years na and been teaching din sa pinas for almost 4 years sa mga training centers. bale ang tinutoro ko is more on the design aspect (which i think is related naman sa natapos kong course). nag under go through ako ng training dito for 2 mos (equivalent to 280 hrs) + 1 year OJT with soft copy documents ng mga ginawa ko.

    in dilemma kung anong step na ang gagawin ko. kasi kung mag change naman ako ng nomionated occupation, i would not have the required work experience naman.

    contemplating to get an agent na kaso na-mention ng friend ko na try ko daw muna source out ung diff ways and means bago ko kumuha ng agent.

    was already thinking of pa-reassess na kung nega pa rin then appeal the decision and state kung bakit ako di nag-agree sa decision nila...

    also thinking to availa ung vetasess advisory service...meron na bang naka pag try nun service na un? kung meron baka pwede pa-share naman...

    Ako din na denied PR applications 2010 and 2011. Tapos hinigpitan na SPASS at PEP, ano na kaya susunod nilang hihigpitan...Dati before 2008 halos pamigay lang Citizenship at PR, ngayun daming qualified na denied. Time to go na talaga somewhere else =)

    Hi SG-Based members,

    Im interested in migrating to Australia too and currently preparing for my IELTS,

    Ask ko lang, when the state I'm interested says there's no shortage in my Skill/ Occupation, meron pa kayang chance to get sponsored. I'm an Electronics Engineer working in Semiconductor Industry.

    Another thing, I'm also very well versed in Linux/Unix,and Programming (Perl/TCL ) as part of my semiconductor work. Is there a way I can present this qualifications and get good ratings with ACS to boost my qualification?

    I'm actually more interested in NSW "Sydney" and worried on how I will get state sponsorship there.

    @csnaruto, Sir ano po yung Job Role ninyo sa Semicon?. Pls read the Engineers of Australia Skills assessment para ma hanap nyo anong dapat sa inyo. Check mo lang sa ENgineers of Australia website

    Katulad po sa akin Electornics Engineer however my experience is more on Plant Engineer sa manufacturing kaya yun yung pina assess ko. Na approve naman...Good luck!
