    PR din ako sa SG expire 2013, nag-apply kami Singapore citizen 2months ago plang. kung sakali maaprove citizen namin kailangan pb namin OZ visa? gusto namin lumipat sa OZ for good..

    pwede kayo magpa-witness sa kahit saang notary public dito sa sg. but, bawat notary public may sarili silang format e. so better dalhin mo na lang yung softcopy ng ginawa mo para ayusin na lang nila or mag-inquire ka na lang muna para malaman mo ang template nila.

    for my case, nagpa-witness ako sa Australian High Commission dati. you can use the template for the Statutory Declarations Act 1959: http://www.ag.gov.au/Documents/StatutoryDeclaration200602.pdf

    di ko maalala exactly how much ang binayad ko...pero mga around 50sgd yun. problema nga lang dito, dadalhin mo pa yung pipirma ng stat dec mo sa embassy. hehehe

    @aolee - Hi Aoelee, you seem like the authority in this thread :) so address ko yung question kp sayo. To anyone else reading this, feel free to answer :). Most of the people I know who are moving or planning to move from SG to AU are married and have kids already. I guess AU has a lot to offer in terms of giving employees quality time for their families & perhaps some additional benefits as well that are not available here in SG. Being single and having no relatives in AU (compared here in SG), do you think it is a wise decision to move from SG to AU? Or is AU life really more suited for couples or families? Thanks a lot! ^_^

Most of the people I know who are moving or planning to move from SG to AU are married and have kids already. I guess AU has a lot to offer in terms of giving employees quality time for their families & perhaps some additional benefits as well that are not available here in SG. Being single and having no relatives in AU (compared here in SG), do you think it is a wise decision to move from SG to AU? Or is AU life really more suited for couples or families? Thanks a lot! ^_^
    hi @yukie77, i hope you don't mind me sharing what my friend told me when she visited AU last august. she is single as well and no relatives in AU just like you, although she has a couple of friends already who migrated in there. anyway, here's what she said - AU is really for family oriented people, the work and environment were design to cater the family needs, at sabi nya sobrang pasok ito kung gusto mo talaga magpalaki ng mga bata... however, since single sya ay baka daw mas mahirap maghanap ng partner, hahahaha! kasi nga daw walang night life, etc etc.. kaya mas gusto na muna ang SG for now.. hehe.. yan po ang sabi nya. sana nabigyan ka ng idea.. hehe.

    question po sa pagkuha ng SG PCC, pwede kayang isa na lang ang pupunta sa SG Police HQ at Cantonment para ilakad ung clearance for both me and my wife?

    mraming salamat in advance.
    feeling ko po hindi kasi kukuhanin ang fingerprints niyo when you apply for PCC's.

    @killerbee hello killerbee! thanks for sharing! I had a feeling baka ganun nga, I guess the fact that its a new place, new country, new challenges, different weather hehe makes it exciting pero baka for long term not really ideal (well for now at least?).
    Good rin you pointed that out na she actually went their - I guess best to visit the country first to experience it first hand to evaluate, and even then hindi parin enough yun to decide, that's why forums like these are very helpful :) Thanks!!

    Pero vacation leave naman, baka akalain ninyo na MC na naman... :))

    It is the same as the tourist visa we; UGLY is the right word to describe it but at the same time, pinakapogi na visa label! More precious than even the US Tourist Visa...

    Ehehehe, happy weekend to all!!
