@Au_Vic curious about this as well. According to ISCAH 2-3mos bago mabigyan ng ITA. I got an ITA for 190 NSW last week. Originally aiming for 189 pero mahirap na antayin baka biglang magka changes pa.

@mseah hello, review the e2language, marami sa YouTube, then yung ptepractice para ma familiarize ka sa pagkakasunod sunod, mahala kasi yun para sa exam, prepared ka ano ng topic ang susunod..God bless

@vincechaos hi, waiting patiently pa rin for ITA for pr 189, di kasi ako na lodge ng 190. Nagka problem kasi invitation rounds, then wala pang invitation this Nov for Internal Audit..

Hi guys question lang. Makakahelp ba ang pagiging CIA sa assessment ng IA? Im currently taking a review kasi and planning na magpaassess na at the same time. I have a degree bsba major Internal Audit from FEU with 3 yrs of experience as an Internal Auditor. Can you help me guys kung ano sa tingin nyo gawin kong move? Magpaassess na or finsih ko muna CIA? @caspar44 For skills assessment, it will help but if you can already provide evidence that you have a related degree and IA work experience,I don't think being CIA would matter anymore. Besides, yung CIA certificate mismo would probably take like a year to get delivered to you. I've been waiting for mine for almost a year now.

@clj2012 Hey! I can only speak from my own experience. I got several calls from recruiters on my first week here in Sydney requesting for interviews (most were for IA jobs but some were for external audit). I attended most of the interviews on the second week then accepted one of the job offers on the third week. I started on a new job on the fourth week.

Salary wise, I think it was pretty okay. The job offer I accepted was on the lower end of the range of average salary for internal auditors (it was the highest I received!). But when they gave me the employment contract to sign, they increased it by $15K (annual which was a really nice surprise as I didn't even try to negotiate it. Baka di pa ako offeran pag nagtry akong makipagnegotiate! Hehe.

Until now, I'm still receiving emails and calls from various recruiters so I guess madami pa ring demand for IAs at least dito sa Sydney.

Meron po bang internal auditing ang course pero accountant ang experience? San po kaya dapat magpassess? Planning to claim partner pts but not sure where to get the assessment para sana positive!

Hi guys question lang po sa EOI

If after getting assessed, Vetasses gives me 3.8 years. Sa EOI ba dapat iedit ko rin yung start and end date of employment ko to match my Vetasses results?

My experience:

- External Audit - Nov 5, 2012 to May 12, 2014 (1 year and 7 months)
- Internal Audit - May 14, 2014 to present (3 years and 6 months)
- Total of 5 years

Does this mean na kahit 5 years na ako working, I should only indicate in the EOI kung ano yung naassess ni Vetasses?

- External Audit Nov 5, 2013 to May 12, 2014 (7 months)
- Internal Audit May 14, 2014 to July xx 2017 (kung kailan ako nagpaasses. Nalimutan ko exact date)

Seeking advice from the invited internal auditors po sana. Thanks!

@patrickcpacia only indicate the work experience related to your nominated occupation and Kung ano yung ni-recognise ng VETASSESS. No point mentioning unrelated work since you won't be gaining experience anyway

@Jasna Timeline depends on your points and occupation. Usually, high pointers expect 6 months to 1 year.

@Jasna, hi, sa experience ko, if magpapatuloy yung trend ng invitation sa Internal Auditor for PR189, for 75 pointers, mga 4 months, 2 invitation rounds kasi di kasama internal auditor, mas advisable na mag PR190 din agad para yun ang I apply pag na invite kasi ang tagal ko nag antay, mag apply na sana ako before ng PR 190 kaso, few days nalang naman cut off from my EOI lodgement, simula ng Oct. Invitation rounds, ayun nagkaroon Ng mga issues, inabot Ng Dec. 6 Yung invite..Buti nalang na invite na din..

sa totoo lang kasi wala naman pinagkaiba, yung mag stay lang ng 2 years sa State na nag sponsor sayo para sa PR190..;)

@Jasna hello, yes, got invited pr189 finally after 4 months..sa 190 for 75 pointers + 5points state sponsorship, not so sure pero base sa nakita ko na mga na invite, mga 2-4 weeks lang na invite na. For 189, nasa Aug. 18 pa lang na iinvite for 75 points base sa unofficial result sa mga forum..baka bumilis din Naman kaso base sa current na takbo Ng invitation, I would suggest na both to apply, pinakamatagal na ang sa internal auditor sa mga na invite sa PR189..konti kasi ang allowed numbers na ma iinvite sa for sa IA..

Hi guys! Im currently researching about australian work visa and happy to see that there’s a forum here dedicated for internal auditors.

I just want to obtain insights from fellow IAs here because I want to gauge my success rate rate in passing Vetasses. I am a PH CPA and I had two years external audit experience in one of Big 4 Firms. After that, I explored the internal
audit field and worked for a PH publicly listed company for five years. During those five years, I was able to obtain a CIA designation. Are my experience enough? And any tips how I can do well in presenting my credentials in Vetassess?
