Hello po, I'm still new here. I'd like to ask if anyone here applied for 476 visa na hindi from UP but accredited ng Philippine Technological Council (PTC)? I understand that PTC is a provisional signatory of the Washington Accord. I called PTC and they said na try lang daw baka i-consider nila kasi ongoing pa yung application nila of becoming a full signatory. Your replies would really be helpful. Thanks!

Hi guys. Gusto ko lang magtanong about sa pag assess. Gagraduate ako ng BS ECE sa UST sa June 2017 at gusto ko sana mag apply ng 489 visa (family sponsored by my uncle in perth). Dito ako nagtatanong kasi gusto ko malaman ang steps ng pagpapa assess sa Engineers australia. Anong path ang dapat ko kunin? Any help will be appreciated thanks!

@MLBS Most of the Engineers from PH go thru the CDR path wherein you need to write Career Episodes highlighting your engineering knowledge and skills, you may consult EA website for the official handbook and guidelines.

wala bang nakalagay sa degree cert mo na specific date? if meron, i think try a higher resolution.

Ang inupload ko kasi ay yung cert of compeletion from grad office. Nung tinanong ko sila, hindi daw kasi sila naglalagay ng specific date. Yung cert of graduation from registrar merong date of graduation pero dun kasi sa binigay ni CO ito sabi:

"PLEASE NOTE: the conferral /awarded/graduation date is not sufficient
The applicant should provide proof of the date of completion of their course, not the
date of graduation or conferral of their degree."

Ano ba pinasa ng mga na grant na ang 476?

I applied for Visa 476 and and I just want to share my timeline. I was surprised because I was not contacted by any CO

March 29 - Lodge application
April 1 - Medical exam
April 27 - Visa granted.

Good day po!!! seaman po ako sa barko..third engr po .. nagbabalak po ako magapply s austrlia .. kasi andyan po si fiance.. may mga dati rin po bang seaman dito?? tanung ko lng po kung kamsta nman po ang trabaho ntn ? ako po willing po ako iwan profession ko makasama lng si fiance.. nagtatanong lng po ako and nagpeprepare kung anu pwde ko pong maging trabho kpg andyan napo..maliban po sa cleaning.. salamat po

Graduated MSIE from UPD - June 28, 2015

April 26, 2017 - Lodged 476 application (docs: Tagalog diploma, English-translated diploma, TOR, passport, passport photo, IELTS result, NSO birth certificate)

April 27, 2017 - CO assigned; asked for medical exam and NBI clearance

April 28, 2017 - uploaded NBI clearance

April 29, 2017 - underwent medical exam; results automatically posted on Immi account after 3 working days

May 22, 2017 - visa grant (in less than a month!!)

Hello everyone! Gusto ko pa sanang magconsult sa mga nakakaalam dito. Eligible po ako sa subclass 476. Ang takot ko po is, walang makitang trabaho para sakin as Chemical Engineer. Isa pa, no experience din pa po kasi sa field. Sino po ba may alam dito ng demand sa chem eng or sa engineering as a general? lalo na po kung pinoy? thanks!

@RheaMARN1171933 I'm unsure if I asked anything in relation to your response as I've been out of action for quite some time. But you're correct, engineering graduates from the Philippines need to submit a CDR for EA skills assessment.

Ganun po ba? Nagpunta po kasi ako sa isang seminar about visa grants from engineers from UP no less than 2 yrs palang graduate. Sumakto po kasi sa condition ko. So ayun nga po, eligible ako para kumuha ng 467. Kamusta po ang demand ng engineers sa australia particularly chem eng if may info po? salamat!

@Phil29 467 does not require point test. Sorry to confuse you. I accidentally replied to an old message.

This is a tricky plan as most employers would prefer those with PR visa. Just to give you a bit of a perspective, my husband went back to Australia after finishing his engineering degree in Germany took 3 months to get a job in Sydney ( I haven't met at that time) considering he had the German education which we all are aware that it's known for engineering and that he's Swiss-German but also has an Australian passport.

@Phil29 Basta may work. If ever na wala ka pa makuha na inline sa engg after a few weeks, go for something else muna. Baka maubos agad funds mo if you wait for a significant amount of time.

Guys!!! Me again!! hahaha. Nagbasa basa naman po ako sa past comments pero just to be sure para updated... Date of graduation ko po is July 2016. If makapagpasa po ako ng requirements ko before july 2018, eligible parin po ako for 476? or kailangan magkaroon sila ng verdict sakin before july 2018? Kailangan ko po kasi talaga i-stretch yung timeline as much as possible for my current work here in Philippines. And IED if ever ma grant ako is 1 year??? tama po ba? Salamat po pls help me!! T_T
