Kailangan ba ng papeles from POEA? Also, yung printed visa ba kailangan pang tatakan sa embassy or something? And kailangan rin bang magpakita ng return ticket?
Thanks po!

For the medical, no, hindi ako nag upload ng results. There's a list of accredited clinics/centers somewhere sa embassy website. You can get the HAP ID (reference number for your medical) from your IMMI account and use it for the exam. Ang clinic na ang nag send ng results sa embassy, at least sa case ko.
And wala namang hinanap na medical insurance.

nag apply po ako ng 476 last January 18, and kanina nag message sa akin ung co ng refusal
"On 17 January 2018 an electronic application for a Skilled - Recognised Graduate visa was made. In your application form you answered “No” to the question “Have you undertaken an English test within the last 36 months?”. Evidence of an English test was not provided at the time of lodgement. An initial assessment of your visa application was undertaken by a case officer on 13 March2018. You uploaded a Pearsons English Test, Registration ID 327958370 to your online application on 01 March 2018. This PTE Academic Test Report form provided was for a test conducted on 28 February 2018, after the date of lodgement of your 476 visa application. As this PTE test was not conducted in within the 3 years immediately before the day on which this application was made, you do not satisfy regulation 476.213(a)(ii).In addition to this you have not provided evidence that you hold a passport of a type specified by the Minister and therefore you do not satisfy 476.213(b) of the regulations."
question po: pwede pang mag appeal?
nung nagfifill up naman kasi ako ng form nakalagay dun "have you taken an English exam before the application" tapos may option na "no" kaya alam kk pwede mag apply ng di pa kumukuha ng exam.
ano po maadvise nyo? should I just reapply na lang?
Thanks

I plan on applying for visa 476 since I will be graduating in this June(MS Civil Engineering).
I know the fee is about 300+ AUD + miscellaneous fees(say total of$500) for the processing. I already have my ielts result w/ me LR-9 W-7 S-6.5
Processing aside, how much money should I bring or prepare when I am ready to fly(one-way ticket, pocket money for at least 6 mos of job hunting maybe, show money?)
Visa 476 processing - Php 20,000
One-way ticket - ???
6month Pocket money - ??? (for living expenses)
Show money - ??? Is it required?
And also is it possible to land a job in the engineering field even though you are don't have
positive assessment from EA? I plan on doing my CDR/visa 189 application when Im already there since I need to retake my IELTS exam to score 7 in all bands to reach 60+ points.
Here is a brief background of my career:
2 Yrs exp structural engineer
2 Yrs exp structural engineer WSP-Australia(Manila based office only)
Freelancer with experience in Australian clients.
Thanks.

It took me roughly 9 months before I got a role in the energy industry. Before that I worked as a graduate engineer for a consulting firm, which helped because I had someone vouch for me when I applied for my next role.

I would say experience is experience. Yes some companies may take overseas experience lightly or even disregard it, but that's not true for all employers. Between an applicant with 1 year of very relevant overseas experience, and an applicant with no experience at all, it makes sense to hire the former. One of the companies I applied for in Sydney actually called my previous boss in the Philippines to ask about the nature and responsibilities of my role, as well as my character and work ethics. I wouldn't have gotten the role if they can't check my character and credentials. I wouldn't even get interviewed at all.
Personally I would arm myself with whatever little advantage I can get my hands on. That said and without generalising, companies value job experience more than post grad degrees, at least the companies I worked for.

sino dito nagapply ng 476 this year lang? gano katagal inabot?
Im planning to apply din kase after makuha lahat ng docs, about july siguro.
If aabutin ng ilang months bago ma-grant baka idelay ko na lang for next year as mahirap ata magjob hunt pag pa end na ang taon.
Thanks.

I would really advise magwork ka muna kahit for a year para meron kang maipakita sa resume mo.
