@Pebbles I have 70 points for nursing and at 189 I have not yet received an invitation. Apply for 190 in all states if you can even NSW and VIC are taking longer.

@Pebbles Kasama na kasi sa stream natin ang New Zealand and then add the numerous backlog of the past years ng mga pro-rata and non-pro rata occupations na may high points. Kaya if ever magpapayo ka sa iba mong kasama better get ready for a long wait if they plan 189. Regarding 190 if you can also apply to other states do not hesitate to add them like NSW since each state doesn't have a pattern for their invitations. They also don't update anything with regards to your application.

@Pebbles Dito ako Pinas, yes alam ko if meron ka job offer or you are employed in Victoria much better chances to have an invite.

@Pebbles are u in vic na? ako kasi ng claim ako 1 year aus RN exp in vic. si vic 2 streams xa. either nktapos ka ng bachelor degree in aus or meron kang 2 years overseas exp. They invite dpende sa need nila and if high employable ka. Cguro napalakas applocation ksi ng bachelor and and may permanent job n ako in vic.

With the confirmation of employment, it makes ur application stronger ksi highly employable k tlga. Yung ng confirm ng employment ko is yung Director of clinical services (or yung may pinakamataas na position sa lahat ng nurses s hosp) and the HR. sila dlwa gnwa kong reference.

Advantage sa vic, ng stick tlga cla na max 12 weeks ang wait. bihira na yung lalagpas. And its FREE. NSW kasi mgbbyad k p ng $300

@kymme nagbridging lng ako dito sa Vic... at nagpart time ak ngyn- kc limited work rights lng ak for now... so pupunta nlng ak ng HR then dalhin ko form noh? cgro nmn alam ng lahat ng ospital ung confirmation of employment ng victoria.. hnde ko kc alam kung papayag ung NUM ko na magsign... almost 2 months plng kc ak nagwork...

@Pebbles ako naman when i applied for vic ss, HR yung primary employer contact ko. I tried my NUM but she directed me to the HR. And HR was happy to sign it.

@Pebbles Sa Skill Select may option wherein you can either choose 189 or 190. You can choose both if I remembered it right. With regards to show money on State Sponsorship, some state/s require you to have proofs for it. But with Vic, it’s just a declaration.
