I would like to share a compilation of all the materials I used during my preparation for PTE-A. This includes all e2language free webinars and mock tests (my notes are included too). I also used the PTE Academic Tests Plus which helped me alot in the reading and listening sections.

As for my preparation, I repeated all the webinars, mock tests and PTE-A Test Plus countless times. Practice will really improve your skills. Trust me on this as I have never practiced english at home nor at work. I just allot 2-6 hrs of my time, everyday, to practice and this helped me develop a technique on how to answer the 20 types of PTE-A tests.

I hope this would help you in your preparation as how this forum helped in mine. Cheers to a bright future ahead of us!

I took PTE last Feb 10 and got the ff scores:

L 75/ R 90/ S 90/ W 78

habol ko po ang superior score kaya mejo masakit sa puso ‘to. Nag self review ako ng 1 buwan following E2 structures. pero short pa din scores ko. Hopefully this march maka superior na ko.

Hirap na hirap ako sa repeat sentence at write from dictation. sobrang hina ko sa memorization. I dont know how to improve it.

Hihingi lang din po sana ako ng review materials para maka-superior na ko sa 2nd try.

Hi guys. Silent reader lang din ako dito. Kakakuha ko lang din ng scores ko today. Halos 24hrs palang since nung nagtake ako may result na agad. Need ko no scores below 65. Wala akong below 65 sa comm skills pero sa enabling may 45 ako. Sa comm skills lang naman tinitignan yun for application for bridging for nurses di ba? thank you po sa sasagot

guys nag take ako ng PTE Practice test A at ang score ko sa speaking is 39 while nung nag actual ako dati eh 68. kaya ako nag purchased ng online practice test para malamn ko kung no need improve pero mas mababa pa pala scoring sa practice test.

@koko14 I'm no expert at this but the quality of the microphone you used when you took the practice test may have contributed to your low speaking score, considering that you spoke clearly and fluently during the exam. I scored higher in the actual exam compared to my scored practice test, 90 vs 75, respectively.

Hi guys! Sobrang laking tulong sakin ng forum na to para sa PTE preparation ko. Salamat sa lahat ng nagcocontribute dito. Nakakuha ako L90 R89 S90 W90.

I highly recommend PTE Practice Gold Kit (https://www.ptepractice.com/). Since 2 mock tests siya, you can assess first where you stand, then you can focus and study more for your weak areas. After reviewing in detail, I have taken the 2nd test to check if I am really ready to take the actual exam. Hawig talaga ung Gold Kit sa actual so di ka na mabibigla kung pano ung flow ng questions sa exam.

Maganda din ung E2language na site for tips. Nagdownload din ako nung 'PTE Preparation - ready for exam' na app. May bayad na P65/wk or P239/mo. Sulit na din kasi handy at madaling maaccess dahil nasa cp lang. So pag may extra time ka while travelling to work or traffic, pwede maisingit ang review. Mainly Gold Kit at ung app lang talaga ung pinagpapraktisan ko. Konti lang kasi ung questions sa Gold Kit, so after nun dun ako sa app. Tapos pag feeling ko kulang pa, nagsusupplement na lang ako ng youtube practice tests, basta nagsesearch lang ako, especially for describe image, repeat sentence, and retell lecture.

Share ko lang din ung summary na ginamit ko for PTE prep ko, mostly compiled tips at templates lang na galing din dito sa forum na to. Sobrang helpful sakin nung mga templates, thanks and credits lalo na kila @batman at @Heprex. Inattach ko din dito ung excel.

Sa TEPTH, Dubai, UAE pala ako nagtake. Maganda ung test center, malaki ung room, tapos 3 lang kami na nagtake that day (Wednesday morning) so wala gaano distractions.

Basta sa exam, just work at your own pace but still mindful of the time limit. Wag padistract kahit parang matatapos na sa exam ung mga kasabay mo. Since Read Aloud ung first part, pwedeng paunahin mo muna sila para masanay ka nang maingay bago ka magsimula para mas madali silang i-tune out. Pag may mga times sa exam na nawawala ka na sa focus, hinga saglit then remind yourself na kaya mo at isusuperior mo yan.
