@chyrstheen Thanks po. Yung Introduction for DI mejo namaster ko na, from E2 language ko din kinuha. And then tintry ko sana ung conclusion strategy ng e2 language. Siguro i-try ko na lang din sauluhin ung format ni sir @batman. Mejo mahina talaga ako sa sauluhan. Yun ang problema ko since birth eh..hehe. Salamat po sa mga tips. Grabe na-perfect mo talaga ung exam. This 27th mag-exam na din ako. Please pray for me. I'll study hard.

Good morning! It’s me again, my concern po kase is 54 lang yun speaking ko on my 1st take, confuse po ako sa nabasa ko sa website ni Ahpra

We will only accept test results:
i. from one test sitting, or
ii. a maximum of two test sittings in a six month period only if:
• a minimum overall score of 65 is achieved in each sitting, and
• you achieve a minimum score of 65 in each of the communicative skills across the two sittings, and
• no score in any of the communicative skills is below 58

Please enlighten me po dun sa “no score in any communicative skills is below 58”. Does it mean po ba na since may 54 akong score is hindi advisable na i-retake si PTE? Or irregardless po yun 1st result if makapasa na ako sa 2nd take? Thank you po in advance.

Hi Mam.
Sabi ni APHRA, No score lower than 58 in 2 sittings for not more than 6 months.

If you have 54 score in a single subtest, you need to retake the exam and must pass 65+. But in case that you had 58 in one subtest next time you need to meet 65 score on that specific subtest in less than 6 months gap

In your case, you need to retake the exam. Mam @shemenorthing

@MumVeng yung iba po, sinulat nila sa noteboard yung conclusion. kung gusto mo po and kung kaya mo hindi masyado magprepare for read aloud, take that time to write the conclusion sa noteboard. medyo mahina po kasi ako sa impromptu conclusion, nagsstutter ako so di ko na ginamit si E2. although nasa yo po yan kung san ka pinakacomfortable.

@JosephDaryllRN thank you po for your kind reply, incase po that I will pass on my 2nd take yun na po ang i-consider ni ahpra? or I still need to include the first result po if mag submit ako sa kanila for assessment? pasensya na po if medyo makulit, just want to make sure po before I rebook for another test date again, mahal po kase ng exam fee. I suggest, just book for another exam and ace 65+.
APHRA then will accept your 65+ score in all subtest.
coz your 54 is unaccepted score as per APHRA reqt

@seochellaga yes walang bayad yun. Create ka lang ng account, meron free na 2 mock tests dun. Though di sya yata graded, not sure lang ako kasi di ko nakuha yung scores ko pero at least you will have a feel na sa exam.

@MumVeng ok yan sis. dun ka sa kung saan ka mas sanay. practice ka everyday kasi may tendency na makalimutan if hindi lagi ginagawa.

@MumVeng hi! Ganyan din ako before yung prob ko naman di ko nasasabi ang conclusion nauubusan ako ng time kaya practice lng ako ng practice and after several weeks na sanay na din ako. What I did was I time myself and I take note on what second should I start saying the conclusion. I say the intro for 10 sec then followed by the points and then start saying the conclusion at 25 to 30 seconds, making sure Im done by 35 seconds.

@daydreamer hi! ako I did both IETLS and PTE-A. Un IELTS kasi need ko for my assessment for EA that time di pa nila tinatanggap PTE-A e. Then napilitan ako mag PTE-A kasi need ko mag pataas ng points.
SA experience ko mas prefer ko questions ng IELTS pero mas lenient mag bigay ng score un PTE-A kasi computer mag score sayo. Subjective kasi un IELTS sa speaking and writing kasi tao nag score.

I finally made it to superior although close call un scores ko hehe (R84 L79 S90 W79). Gusto ko lang mag pasalamat sa thread na to lalo na sa mga nag posts tips and resources.

Sa mga ilan times na umilit kagaya ko, wag susuko.

as much as possible kasi gusto ko superior makuha ko. In terms of getting a higher score i know it depends saken how i will handle the exam. Pero san kya ako sa 2 mas possible makkuha ng higher score?

Hmm, knuha ko yung #1 na number kasi ako ung unang una pero hindi binigay sakin ung first seat, binigay sa #3. D ko alam kay kuya kung my problema sya sakin hehe, pero ok lang move on lang.. sobrang aga ko dun 12PM andun nko.. 3PM po exam ko.. pero pnapabalik ako ng 1:30PM kasi bawal mag tambay sa taas.

Mic positioning: prang any position same lang results,tnagalan ko tlgang e test to, pero same lang tlga lahat.

Speaking: 82
Read-aloud - Fast and Clean, Easy lang to, may mga 5words din ako na mali dito pero tuloy tuloy parin ako.

Repeat Sentence - Nagkalat po ako dito, wala akong nakuha sa repeat sentence kasi sobrang hahaba ng binigay sakin. at sobrang ingay sa room wala akong naaabsorb.

Describe Image - Template yung magdadala dito, basta tuloy tuloy lang kayo. Content hindi masyadong importante.

Re-Tell Lecture - nagkalat ako dun sa isa, as in umulit ako ng cnbi pero tuloy tuloy parin ako, Template lang din kakampi mo dito. basta tuloy tuloy lang.

Answer short question - mga 60% lang cguro nkuha ko dito dahil d ko tlga maabsorb lahat dahil distracted nko.

Writing:
1. SWT - e2 language
2. Essay - Steven Template

Reading:
1. Fill in the blanks - E2language
2. Re-order paragraphs - e2language and sonny english tips
Note: yan lang ung nireview ko, d nko nagreview ng multiple choice.

Listening:
1.Summarize Spoken Text - E2language template
2. Fill in the blanks - E2language
3. Write from dictation - Dito, mabilis ako magtype kaya habang nagsasalita sya nagttype nko kahit mali spelling, nakuha ko nmn lahat.
Note: yan lang din nireview ko..

Try nyo din e download to. Updated ung materials as of march 2018..(PTESTUDY reference, chinese yung mga multiple choice etc. pero ung mga importante na category english) very useful.

Guys, ask ko lang. Planning to take PTE pero bakit PTE academic lang ang nakikita ko. Kasi I've already took IELTS -General exam. May PTE General exam ba?
