magandang umaga po. Hope everyone is doing well :)
Hindi po sana ako ng advise. We are in the midst of completing the requirements and medyo confused dito (reference is MSA Booklet) regarding REFERENCE LETTER ON OFFICIAL COMPANY LETTERHEAD. Thank you.

"Applicants who have claimed engineering employment
for more than 12 months or have based their career
episode upon professional experience must provide a
reference letter from the employer (reference letter on
official company letterhead, stating your title/position,
commencement and termination dates of employment,
signed and dated by the author)."

    Hi @kar28

Magkaiba ang Certificate of Employment (CoE) sa reference letter. You can consider yung reference letter as you JD.

You should have the ff details:
    - Employee name
    - Passport no/ ID
    - Title/position
    - employment date
    - no of hours working
    - address or if you are deployed oveseas

This should be printed with the company logo, address saka signed ng key personnel like HR, immediate supervisor/manager or anyone above you na makakapagpatotoo ng claims mo sa employment. yung iba may seal or stamp din na kasama.

    Ito yung sample ko.

    Date: 26th July 2017

    Dear Sir /Madam,

This is to certify that [NAME] with [Passport/FIN/ID] was a full-time employee of [Name of company] as [Title/position] from [Employment date] working 40 hours per week. She was deployed in [Customer address kung deployed ka outside. Kung hindi naman no need to include] with site address [Customer address] for systems integration and delivery of [Project Name].

In her capacity, she was responsible for:

    - dito mo na isusulat yung mga job description mo. Suggest ko i-align mo dun sa skills mo na nakabase dun sa skills code mo. nakabullet form yan mga 3-5 bullet points.
    - Bullet points 2
    - Bullet points 3

Should you need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned at [mobile no or/and email address].

Kapag nag-apply as skilled independent migrant or is CDR enough?

CDR is enough talaga.

Very clear and settled with your helpful information. :)

Another question po. About IELTs - for assessment, the higher the score, the higher the points given ba? or as long as pasado at ma-meet yun minimum band score for each na 6? what would you suggest?

Pwede naman wala yung seal/stamped. Yung mga companies ko lang dito sa Singapore nilagyan nila ng stamp which is common. Sa pinas wala, pirma lang.

Hindi din nakabased sa IELTS. Requirement ang english sa assessment pero you will be assess based sa documents at job description na ipapadala mo sa kanila.

Last time lahat halos pinadala ko para walang question.

So halimbawa sa Smart PH ko na work, I submitted JD, CoE, payslips, BIR, SSS, ID at business card.

This is my way to make sure na clear sa assessor yung trabaho ko.

Good day po.

    Good morning everyone,

I would like to seek for an advice. I asked for a bank certificate for an additional supporting document for my Company 1. It was addressed to Engineers Australia.

correct address : Engineering House, 11 national circuit, Barton, ACT, 2600

Bank certificate: Engineering House II, National Circuit, Barton, ACT 2600

Bale ung number “11” naging two capital I “II”. Plus the comma shall be after the word House. Strict po kaya Ang EA about this. Shall I request for a revised bank certificate?

    Please advise.

Thank you so much po in advance.

@galf10333 highly unlikely po sad to say. May nabasa akong case dito na kahit may exp na sya na 8 yrs di pa rin positive assessment. Prc is mandatory for schools other than section 1.

Hello po. I just noticed na mali ung employment period ko for may previous and current company sa Skills assessement and RSEA outcome letter ko from EA.

    Comp A : Feb 2005 to April 2011 (correct: Feb 2005 to January 2011)
Comp B: January 2011 to June 2017 (correct: April 2011 to June 2017)

Kanina lang while reviewing all our docs for visa lodging.

    Need help..huhu.

Pero inform them to indicate the correct assessment date kung kelan lumabas ang 1st assessment mo. Kasi if they will issue a correct outcome letter and current date ang ilagay baka magka problema ka sa visa application kasi you already received an ITA. All docs should be dated before EOI lodgement as the points should already be sufficient before you were invited. It is indicated also in DHA website that you should have a positive skills assessment before you are invited to apply. Kaya dapat yung original assessment date pa din lagay nila. Lets also wait what others would say.

    PTE Writing Tips

For writing essay I used E2 language format and applying what I learned from Ielts. Sa intro, sa 1st sentence ni restate ko lang yung question using my own words. Then sa 2nd sentence if one sided lang yung question, I give summary of the reasons ( 2 reasons only). Example, if ang essay is about importance of computers (one sided), eto 2nd sentence ko. Computers are valuable resources as they (1st reason) aid in learning and are (2nd reason) used to communicate with others. Then sa 3rd sentence sasabihin ko para pampahaba-- In this essay, I shall discuss my point of view by giving points and examples about the topic.

Mga 2 sentences na magsupport sa 1st reason, like if yung 1st reason ko is aid in learning, expand ko ang topic by answering how computers aid in learning, etc. Usually yung reason mo convert mo by asking how, what, when, or who. Tapos sa 3rd sentence, I state examples.

4Th paragraph 1st sentence conclusion, then 2nd sentence recommendation.

If 2 sided naman yung intro pwede mo gamitin yung nasa template like kina Heprex na samples. Then yung 2nd par yung kabilang side, then yung 3rd paragraph yung other side. Tapos same last paragraph.

If nahihirapan ka mag construct ng idea try to research as much as possible. Google mo yung mga common or recent topics on pte writing tapos may mga sample questions dun,, then research mo ano possible answers para sa actual exam may idea kana ano isasagot. Tapos dpat familiarize mo mga connectors (like moreover, therefore, for instance, etc) kasi mas mataas ang grade kapag medyo complex ang sentence na ginagamit mo kesa simple sentences lang.

For summarize written text strategy ko is to first get ano main topic. Then analyze what important points were given, may nangyari ba? If you can answer who/what, when, how and why about the topic pwede mo na pagdugtungin yung ideas mo thru connectors and form a sentence. If you will have multiple paragraphs, summarize mo muna per paragraph then summarize mo ulit lahat in one sentence

Another tip also in writing as much as possible do not repeat the same words. If you dont have much stored knowledge about synonyms okay lang. Practice and Research is the key. Kaya malaki ang help sa akin yung pag research sa mga common or recent topics kasi while practicing pwede akong mghanap ng synonyms then mas madali ko syang ma recall sa actual exam kasi nagawa ko na sya before. Tapos if meron kayong word na ma encounter na parang hirap kayo mag elaborate, google nyo din anong synonym or phrases na pwedeng same meaning ng word. Share ko yung nilista kong mga synonyms na possible na magagamit sa mga essay kasi minsan these are the topics commonly asked.

@Kaye28 oh no, sorry to hear that! :( for RSEA ba yan sis? yung sakin kasi nakacollective lang na "Relevant Skilled Employment from June 2010 to Dec 2016" kahit 2 company yun. suggestion ko rin to email sila at i-keep mo pa rin yung original MSA outcome mo para sa degree mo. para may proof ka nung naglodge ka ng EOI. kasi hindi naman talaga required ang RSEA. buti nacatch mo agad sis

@Kaye28 Does the error from EA have an effect your points? If none, I would either notify EA first before lodging and see if they come back to you before the 60 day timeline expires. If itvwonr meet your deadline, go ahead with your visa application and provide a cover letter explaining the error from EA which you've only noticed just recently and advice EA is in the process of correcting it and will provide the amended outcome letter once it's ready.

With regards to the date on the letter you can always explain such on your cover letter. Best of luck!

@Burns I think someone in expert in recruitment in Australia is the best person to answer this.

The fact that it is on the occupation list goes to show there is a need for your occupation in Australia. I usually tell my clients to do a job search online to have a feel of the job market. That's the best indication for you at this stage. Good luck.

    Thanks @RheaMARN1171933 .

By the way, kelangan pa po ba ang Philhealth contribution/ceritificate as additional employment evidence? Below docs are what I have only from my previous company. Kumuha din kasi ako kaso wala record sa Philhealth ung buong 2008, sabi ni Philhealth, baka daw hindi hinulugan ni Company ung year na un pero the rest of the month/year from Mar 2005 to January 2011 ok nmn lahat. I was aiming to get a direct grant sana, baka kasi hindi enough ung mga proof na meron ako.

Employment Evidence for Comp A: (Ceased operation - Closed since 2016 ata)
    - SSS contribution/employment history 2005 to 2011
    - ITR 2009-2011 (they can only retrieve these years when I requested prior shutdown nung company)
    - COE (general from HR)
    - Reference Letter (detailed signed by Manager with company letterhead)
    - Pay Slips (June 2010 to Jan 2011 lang ang meron ako)
