@berkkiRN When are you leaving for Aus? You might not be able to leave if your passport only has 6 mos validity or less..

@berkkiRN Except for some specific visas that require that the applicant be offshore to be granted the working visa (I presume you mean TSS-482) can be granted while onshore. If you enter Australia with a visitor visa and apply for a TSS visa, you will be automatically granted a bridging visa which will take effect when your visitor visa expires and the TSS visa has not been granted yet.

However, as @Mia has said, better check your passport validity before leaving. From where will you be coming from before entering Australia? I noticed you put Qatar in your profile location. If coming directly from there, I don't think that they bother checking your passports validity however if coming from the Phils, our immigration is quite insistent that passports have at least six months validity when leaving the country.

If it were me, I would renew ASAP sa Pinas... 10-year passport validity na eh, I'd rather be inconvenienced now than later... para wala nang change details sa future.

@marrytonyAnana Is he a relative of yours?

    Carer Visa Subclass 836
    Carer Visa Subclass 116

If not a relative, then you might fall into the TSS - Subclass 482 as Residential Care Officer (ANZSCO Code 411715)

Your prospective employer must satisfy certain conditions and requirements..

You will also need to have your skills assessed to be deemed qualified for sponsorship.

@cucci Residential Care Officer is a skill level 2...

    http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/[email protected]/Product+Lookup/1220.0~2013,+Version+1.2~Chapter~UNIT+GROUP+4233+Nursing+Support+and+Personal+Care+Workers

423313 Personal Care Assistant may be a better fit or 423111 Aged or Disabled Carer

    Both skill level 4.

    Caregivers are not "skilled".
