@vivyan12 Bank certificate(s) as I see it is a requirement mainly to prove;
a.) you have the financial capacity to finance your intended activities while in Australia
b.) you have a reason to go back to your originating country.

However, inasmuch as someone is sponsoring your visit, this should not really matter much. I was sponsored/invited and was granted visitor visa with less than PHP20k in all my bank accounts. I did not have land titles or real estate properties submitted.

Just ask your employer for an invitation indicating that they will be shouldering ALL your travel expenses as well as board and lodging during your intended stay. Also attach an employment certification indicating employment details with a note stating that you are allowed to be on leave during that period.

This is just my experience, though... I know of a friend who works at home, with an Australian employer but was denied the visitor visa but that was about 4 years or so ago.

Hi. My mom was granted visitor visa 600 for 1 yr multiple entry. Nag stay sya dito for 3 months at umuwi din ng Pinas. Ngayon, gusto ko sya bumalik dito kasi I will have my baby due on October at gusto ko kasama ko sya at makita nya yung baby ko for the first time. Pero her visa will expire a month after my due which is November and I want to extend it. Paano mag extend ng visa 600? I checked her visa grant at walang nakalagay na 'no further stay' so it means pwede ko i-extend? Paano po ang process? I tried to check immi website pero wala ako makita na info. Thank you in advance.

For people in Australia who want to apply online to extend their stay for tourism purposes. You will be required to meet all of the following:

- hold a substantive visa
- not have condition 8503 'No further stay' imposed on your current visa or have been granted an 8503 waiver
- meet all the eligibility criteria for this visa.

Note: For applications in Australia you do not need to be an eligible passport holder in order to apply online. In Australia, all passport holders can apply online for a Visitor visa extension.

Inasmuch as her current visitor visa is still valid, she can enter Australia before the expiry and apply for an extension while she's there.

Login to the immi account you used to apply for her visa reapply. Since all visa data is stored electronically, immi officers will see that your mom is in Australia and will process the application as a request for an extension.

Hello po, ask ko lang, pano po process if I want to do a follow up for my Visa 600 (Business Visitor Stream)? Nag apply ako June 28, and until now "Received" pa rin ang application status. They are probably delayed by the fiscal year transition, pero gusto ko rin sana mag follow up kasi within July lang ako pede umalis.

@mark7009 AFAIK, immigration does not encourage follow up/inquiries on applications if they are still within the published processing times.

The latest processing times for visitor visa (Last updated 19 June 2018 (for month ending 31 May 2018) is 11-18 days with a note:

*Processing times range from 48 hours to more than 20 days depending on factors such as peak processing periods in a particular location.

Hello po.

Tanong ko lang po about sa TV application via online.immi.gov.au.

Meron po kasi required na ganito:

Evidence of the applicant’s previous travel
Provide a copy of the applicant/s' passport pages that contain evidence of previous travel to countries other than Australia, such as entry / exit stamps or visa labels.

First time po kasi nila lalabas ng pinas and wala silang previous travel to any countries. Paano po kaya ito? Leave it blank po ba o scan ko passport pages nila kahit walang stamps then attach?

Please help.

Hello everyone, I hope you can enlighten me. My brother has been through a lot this year kaya gusto ko sana sya i-treat ng one week vacation dito sa Oz to watch the concert of his favorite artist.

Anyway, plan sana naming mag-apply online. Employed sya ngayon pero dahil bago pa lang, nasa 15k lang yung monthly salary nya and yun din yung mag-reflect sa COE nya.

Pwede ba naming i-mention sa application nya na 457 (dependent) visa holder ako at currently employed dito? Pwede ako mag-attach ng supporting documents like visa, COE, bank statements. Wala nga lang kaming rental agreement kasi naka-stay kami ngayon sa distant relative ni husband.

Gusto ko sana i-sponsor yung brother ko kaso wala pa kami 6 months dito sa Oz ni husband.

Better ba na wag na lang namin i-mention na may relative sya dito?

Thank you in advance sa mga sasagot. Hindi ko lang kc sure if may ng ask na ng ganto dto sa thread nato and how recent the answers are.

My brother got a visitor visa valid for a year (til june 2019) and he's spending na his 1st 3-month stay now til october 6. I'm planning na bumalik sya dto after few days sa pinas as I need him to look after our place as my husband and I are both very busy with our work. If I kept on doing that for his next entries and exits til ma expire ung visa nya, then i-apply ko ulit sya ng tourist visa after June 2019, how soon can we do an application again for tourist visa?

If sa mga naka experience before, nagkaron ba kayo ng problema when u tried a new application right away na ma expire ung visa?

@Aiza05 If you've watched Border Security Australia (may mga episodes sa Youtube) baka ma-question na sya sa next attempt nya to enter Australia... pwede pa siguro ang another 3 months after the first entry. Visitor visas are strictly for holiday purposes only at alam ng immigration na magastos mag holiday lalo na sa Australia. Hahanapan na sya ng proof ng source of funds to support his stay. If he cannot show any proof, he can be deported and will not be allowed to apply for any visa or enter Australia for the next 3-5 years (am not sure of the exact timeframe).

@cucci Hi! Yep, I've watched Border security shows na before and I've seen cases na na-question tlg sila especially with suspicious activities here. I've asked around as well with friends around and they've done the same thing, some of them even came back after a day..it's just that I don't want to risk it by asking my brother to come back after a day, I would rather him come back after a week or so as his visa is multiple entry for a year anyway. And the main concern as well is sabi ng iba, na baka next visa pplication nya, ay ma deny na sya coz if too short ang stay nya outside compare sa stay nya dto. Just want to hear others' experience..na naexperience nila themselves. I'm just concerned is how soon if pedeng mag apply again for a new tourist visa after ma expire ung kanya next year.

He doesn't need any proof since nung in-apply ko sya from the start, kami ng husband ko ang mga "sponsor" nya as we put in the invitation and application na we're the ones who'll be responsible for all of his spendings and accommodation so he doesn't need to show any proof since from the start palang.

@Aiza05 To enter NZ you need a separate NZ visitor visa.

Unsolicited advice... of course I don't know any details about your brother... I just thought why not make him study a course, certificate program or something that would eventually make him eligible to apply for a PR visa? At least for the next 1-2 years he can stay without having to exit Australia... nakaka-bore din kayang magbantay ng bahay... hehe

Hi kumusta mga Pinoyau. Kinasal ako last year and planning to apply my wife for two weeks tourist visa. May nagapply po ba dito na ang nagsponsor naka stay muna sa family friend? Dati na ako nagrent ng flat pero umalis na ako nung umuwi ako ng Pinas to work for months. Nung bumalik ako nag stay muna ako sa kaibigan ko. Ang tanung ulit puede ko ba iisponsor ang misis ko for tourist visa. Next year pa kasi ako magaapply ng partner visa. Tsaka pa lang ako maghahanap ng flat by December kapag nandito na sya. @Hunter_08 pede na apply. nun kami nag apply 7 month before the planned trip nag apply na kami kasi gusto naming malaman kong approved or not para maka book ng ticket way ahead at mura pag book ka ng mg 6 months before. Tsaka may plan b if in case di approve atleast apply sa ibang bansa na lng ang bakasyon

@batman ah ok.. pero kasi ang problema is mag renew ng passport yung pamangkin ko so baka mas advisable na hintayin na muna yung new passport? may nakita na nga kong murang ticket for dec e kaso hindi ko naman mabili dahil yun nga wala pang visa,

@Hunter_08 same thing with my sister, pede yun gamitin, para maka finalise na ng tiket. tpos update na lng sa vevo. sa sister ko e mail nya lang sa Doha and form 929 about update sa passport , on the day pa ng ng flight nya sya nag e mail kasi naka limutan nya mag update. wala namn nagging problem.

@TotoyOZresident If you plan to apply for partner visa onshore, do not sponsor your wife's tourist visa... kasi usually yung sponsored applicants nabibigyan ng no further stay condition.
