In my case, yes. Mas mataas yung actual scores ko compared sa mock exam.

Naku sir sana po ganun nga... salamat. Mataas kasi score ko dun sa recent mock test ko di ako makapaniwala. Iniisip ko baka may technical glitch baka mamaya sa actual lagapak.. huhuhu sana wag naman.

I'm planning to take the test na first week of August, may reviewers narin ako and all na galing sa agent ko. I just don't know where to start? Paano kayo nagstart guys? Any tips? SHould I spend an hour or two everyday or weekends pwede na? Hahaha I haven't studied for something in a while

)

@deaddisco templates. Nung unang take ko wala ako nyan. Yung kay @Heprex ang ginamit ko na mga tips. Mock Exam din kelangan para ma gauge mo yung saan mo need magfocus at magimprove.

@skyhachi i think its not too late, you can buy now and take the mock test on weekend, then review ang score at aralin ang dapt mo iimprove, then take another test 3 days before exam.. tas rest at konting basa basa nlng king meron pa dpat ipolish

Trainer's name is Ganesh Yirrinki. Here are my scores after signing up with him. It's online training by the way. I bet most would get it on their first attempt. He even evaluated my score card to know where I'm getting it wrong.
1st take L 74 R 90 S 90 W 84
2nd take L 78 R 90 S 90 W 78
3rd take L 80 R 85 S 90 W 81

My personal advise would be to spend money on training classes rather than experimenting it on your exams.

First time test taker din ako ng PTE. Last march ako nagtake ng exam at nakakuha naman po ako ng superior score. Ito ung mga sites na ginamit ko for review:

@olp Nag exam ako ng 1st PTE Acad last July 12. Sadly, proficient lang ako kasi kinapos ako ng oras sa WFD at nagka intervention pa during my exam.hehe

3PM exam ko pero 12:30 p.m. pumunta na ako sa Trident para makuha ko ung terminal#1. Dahil masyado akong excited pinabalik na lang ako ni manong guard ng 2pm at nakapwesto naman ako sa terminal#1.

Hindi naman ako kinabahan kasi naubos na yung kaba ko sa kakaisip before kung mahirap ba yung exam.

Sa speaking, tuloy tuloy lang ako magsalita. Ginamit ko ung conclusion template ni @Heprex sa Describe Image and Retell Lecture. Tolerable naman yung ingay sa loob ng room. Focused din ako sa repeat sentence though may mga sentences na half ng sentence lang yung narepeat ko ng tama. Madali lang yung answer short question like ano yung pinoproduce ng bees (honey) at ano ung sporting event na every 4 years ginaganap (Olympics).

Sa writing, 3 SWT and 1 essay nakuha ko. Yung isang SWT nakita ko sa Youtube before about 'cow and grass'. Yung essay about deduction of score for student's late work. Nakita ko rin yang essay na yan before sa YouTube.

Sa reading, focus lang sa pag analyze ng passages and may time limit ako per task. Ang priority ko yung RWFIB, FIB and Reorder. May naencounter akong question sa reorder na the same sa ptestudy.com about 'sick scientist'.

Sa listening, 2 SST(new) and 17 other items naman. Parang 20-22 minutes lang yung binigay for the 17 items. Hindi ko namalayan yung oras. Nawala sa isip ko na mag set ng time limit at magprioritize ng items dito. Nagbreak din kasi ako kaya nawala ako sa momentum. Natagalan ako sa highlight correct summary (3 items) kasi ang haba ng sentence per choices para i-analyze. Naubos ko pa yung notepad dahil todo ako mag notes nung listening ayun mga 1 minute din yung nawala sa akin nung kinausap ko ung invigilator at naghintay sa bagong notepad. Tapos may mga audio clip na inaabot ng 1min to 1.5mins kaya konte lang yung time para magsagot. Kailangan din hintayin matapos yung audio clip bago maka move sa next question. Few seconds na lang yung natira para masagutan ko yung WFD. Binilisan ko na lang sagutan ung 1st WFD and na cut na ako sa 2nd WFD. So, huwag masyado magtagal sa multiple choice, select missing word and highlight correct summary para umabot sa WFD na magbibigay sayo ng mataas na points. Need talaga mag allot ng 3 minutes for WFD para may time ka magrecall and magrevise ng sentence.

Ayun, time management is the key. I hope mareach mo yung target score mo and good luck!

What are the chances na makita mo sa actual exam yung mga nareview mo sa mock test, youtube and other wesites?

@jerkyjerk Mababa lang cguro ung chance at sinuwerte lang ako. Yung mga Indians sa ibang forum hindi nakaencounter ng repeated questions. Saka nagdadagdag na ng mga bagong questions ung Pearson. So, mas safe pa rin na magpractice at magrely sa skills.

Guys, yesterday ako nag exam. Yun Retell lecture ko 4 items, pati un WFD ko. Im not sure if nag iba na sila ng format. Just make sure na mag allot ng time sa WFD lalo na kung 4 items.
