Hi may question po ako, sa TAFE po anong tinitignan nilang score? lahat ba pati yung pronunciation, oral fluency.... or yung apat lang (reading, writing, speaking, lisening) ?

Hi! Meron po ba dito going to TAFE SA this July?

@MLBS hi, iba2 kasi ang case bkt ng-aaral dito, i know few people na nasa list ung skills nils pero less ung points or gusto ng mas mataas na points, meron din na they are hoping to find an employer who will sponsor them, meron din wala sa list ung occupation nila kaya nag-aaral dito. it varies kasi ung reason.
in your case, if you want to gain more points at plan mo magstudy go ahead but you need to be strategic at it depends kung sang state mo plano mag-aral.
with the current point system if you live and study for 2 yrs sa regional area you can get extra 5 points aside dun sa 5 points na makukuha mo for finishing 2 yrs of study in australia.
also note that some smaller states (SA, NT, Tas, ACT), they offer a separate pathway of state sponsorship for international graduates who studied in an educational institution sa state na yun. Some only require 1 yr study sa state and if you meet the other requirements you can apply for SS straightaway. Technically, you can get an invite with 60 points. Did you know what I mean?
So I would suggest if you will go study in australia, choose a state where you will have an option to get state sponsorship.

atheleneBrisbane Posts: 766Member Joined: Mar 13, 2018
@Ajit22 if you know someone who is already in Australia, try asking how much ang palitan doon and then compare with the exchange rates in the Philippines. May countries kasi na mas OK ang palitan sa ibang bansa, meron din yung mas OK as pinas. You can also try looking at forex rates ng banks (au and ph) to see the difference, and decide where you can get more aud for your php.

Any recommended schools in Brisbane na mura lang sana? Plan ko sana mag student visa and work part time to cover my expenses sa studies ko and shempre become PR in the long run.
Any suggestions please? How much money do i need to get this started? And type of work na pwede ko makuha while im studying.
Salamat sa sasagot.

@bankshot15 if PR is your endgame, why don't you check if you can apply directly for skilled migration?
