@Supersaiyan naku malayo pa bro, pasang awa..hehe lalo na ung speaking need ng practice... hndi kasi ako nakapagpractice maxado, aminado ako dun nahirapan ako magpractice at magbasa-basa dahil sa project namin na sinupport, nagmemorize lang ako ng templates then a week before nagmock exam ako at nagtake na, ngaun may time na kahit papano kasi narelease na ung project, magstart na rin magpractice talaga...

Sobrang laking tulong po saken tong forum nato. Thank you po sa mga templates at tips. I took my PTE exam last July 18. First time ko po and got a superior score. Sobrang helpful po ng mga tips.

@jeffasuncipn Sa listening po effective saken yong nagsusulat ng keywords di lang sa summarize spoken text pati din sa highlight correct summary and select multiple answer/single answer.. mas di ko kase nakakalimutan yong context ng sinasabi. Dahil siguro 2 senses yong nag fufunction, pakikinig at pagsusulat. Sa summarize spoken text sa computer nako nagtatype ng keywords para masave sa time. Kung comfortable kayo na sa pc na magtytype kung may textbox or blank na dun na pwede mag type etype nyo nlang din yong sagot kahit my typo error balikan nyo nalng pagkatapos ng
recording..Sa writing po effective saken format ng E2 language ( 90 po writing ko gamit to- eto po pala scores ko

L-87, R- 83 S-88)

Eto yong inaply ko (Opinion or argumentative essay)

Paragraph 1:
Intro (gumamit ako ng pang intro na phrase ex..It is common nowadays that...or anything na may konek s question).
While some people think (1st argument....,others say (2nd argument)
This essay will discuss why I think (stand mo)

Paragraph 2:

Intro(rephrase 1st argument-kadalasan eto yong pabor eto yong gamit ko na phrase ex..It cannot be argued, It cannot be denied..
Reason (maging creative nalng ex..One reason is that...)
Example (For instance, For example, Take .....as an example) tapos medyo elaborate(be conscious din s time)
Pang wakas (Thus, Therefore, In effect, As a result, In sum....)

Paragraph 3
Opposing views claim that (2nd argument)...
Admittedly or Undeniably, or Undoubtedly...reason na pwede sya maging tama
However....(ipaglaban mo 1st argument)
Thus,Therefore, In sum, As a result,

ex:
Opposing views claim that study and employment could not distract one from another. Admittedly, there are students who are also employed. However, this is objectionable. Working while studying can affect one negatively. For intance, a student who is also a full-time employee might experience fatigue. As a result, his health will be affected causing his performance in his job or studies to decline.

Paragraph 4
In conclusion ( say something na pro or may connect sa 1st argument) . In my opinion, (ex..rephrase mo nalng din yong 1 argument kung paubos na yong time)

Basta po gumamit ng mga connecting words-Thus, Therefore, For instance, For example, One reason, In cannot be denied, It cannot be argued, Admittedly, Undoubtedly, Undeniably, Opposing views claim that , On the other hand, However, In conclusion,
Overall, In my opinion
atbp pa na mas madali nyo matandaan

parang eto yong mga basihan ng software para masasabi na logical yong essay kahit simple lang na words gamit nyo..
Naalala ko may mispelled ako na words kahit simple lang di ko na nabago kase wala na time pero naka 90 parin me sa written discourse at 89 sa spelling.

Pasensya po mahaba ulit..

Sa speaking naman po ang useful ng templates dito combine nyo nalng yong kaya ememorize by heart yong madali maisip..Basta huwag po mag pause kung may time na medyo hesitant kayo tuloy pa rin ang laban..Imaginin nyo nalng newcaster kayo, or kuha kayo ng inspiration sa mga komedyante na nag eenglish na maganda pakinggan kahit minsan wala sense sinasabi . Or imagine nyo may isang drum tapos nagpupuno kayo ng good quality words na dapat continuous yong flow. :)applicable sya saken lalo na sa reading.. pero conscious parin yong proper pause, intonation etc..

Sa retell lecture di effective saken yong keywords lang nahirapan kase ako magsalita na walang pause, nagpractice ako magsulat ng 3-4 senstences, minsan 5 na may subject verb object-short sentences lang.tapos insert ko nalng sa template nato( kung sino po original nito thank you thank you)

The speaker provided a brief information about (topic word-kahit one word lang) and he (or she pay attention din po sa gender ng speaker) spent a significant amount of time discussing around the topic..
First, he mentioned that ( 1st sentence)
and that...(kung may kaya pa e dugtong or may 5 sentences kayo na naisulat)
In addition, he talked about how(2nd sentence)
Furthermore, he highligted that( 3d sentence)
Finally, he suggested that (4th sentence)

kung may maisip na po kayo na sentence early on sa recording isulat nyo na agad short sentences lang para makarami lalo na kung gagamit kayo ng template gaya nong ginamit ko. be creative na rin basta may masabi lang..

Sa actual exam yong topic word and 2 sentences lang naisulat ko dahil sa kaba, di ko na pinilit kase kung may nerbiyos na tapos mag iisip pa mabubulol lang..First and In addition na connecting words
lang nagamit ko tapos yong pang huli na In conclusion na template( derederecho pa rin dahil sa template )

Pero kung kaya nyo magreretell through keywords lang without pause mas okay.
Sa case ko di ko kaya kaya gumamit ako template at nagsulat ng short sentences.

Pang huli ko na template..gamit ko sa retell at describe image .thanks s nakaisip nito..

In conclusion, we can say that his lecture is accurate and interesting and can be used as significant reference for future studies of the same learning objective

Kung wala na time kahit putulin nyo nalng
hanggang interesting or interesting lang or kayo bahala basta comfortable kayo na sabihin..be conscious pa rin sa time..

tapos click po agad ng next pag tapos na(Reading, Repeat sentence, Describe image, Retell Lecture)..

Di na po ako nagmock exam...Practice practice lng po talaga yong mga tutorials sa youtube online yong mga tips lalo na sa reading listening ..
Yong templates nyo practicin nyo out loud kahit nasa CR or kagigising lng..

@Supersaiyan hi, just want to clarify. I took IELTS before, got competent scores then lodged an eoi. But due to tightening immigration policies, I thought it would be wise to try PTE to increase my points. With regard to sending scores to DHA, what if I get lower scores than my previous IELTS scores, would they consider the would-be PTE score? Sorry, just to be sure. Thank you!

@leadme, it would not be a big deal if you got lower PTE points as compared to your previous IELTS score since you will be the one to choose at the end what English Exam type you want as a proof of your English in your EOI and what registration ID or test ID you will provide in your EOI (whether it's PTE or IELTS).

Additionally, I think DHA will not bother to see your score though you sent to them your PTE score every time you sit for PTE exam, unless that PTE score is a reference to your EOI. They are not collecting English proficiency histories of every migrant aspirant I guess since that would be a huge data.

LRSW - 76/84/90/79 (taken July 23 2018)
LRSW - 76/83/85/82 (taken June 4, 2018)

Thank you in advance for your comments/suggestion on how will I improve my score in listening to reach superior.

I'm loving your FULL English reply. I am an advocate of ENGLISH ONLY post here in PTE thread.(not obligatory tho) In a way it can help for all those English test takers to practice and train.. (tatagalog ako para may effect sinabi ko nato dati) yung tipong lahat ng galaw mo ay English. paghinga (breathing), paglakad (walking), pag utot (farting)... pag tae (ano English nun pooping???) in short English lang lahat ang kilos mo para natural na lang pag dating ng exams mag flow lahat ng knowledge mo sa English...

I used to do this.. hehe

I had my PTE exam this morning here in Tokyo. Kakaiba pala, para lang ako nasa computer laboratory hehe.
Hoping for a positive result. After 5 days daw result, minsan ba mas maaga lumalabas yung result?

@jerkyjerk, nowadays, 24 hours lang kuhado mo na result. Depende kung mag kakaissue sila aabutin tlga ng 5 business days bago madeliver.
