All the prices below are in VIC.

    House
The computation of this one is per week, if you check domain.com.au and you see the prices there, those are weekly rates. If you can find something that is below 350 per week for 3 bedroom (in victoria that is), mura na yun. But here's the catch, the rental market (again only in victoria) is a whole new thing on it's own. Para kang nag apply ng trabaho. The agents have a say kung kanino nila ibibigay yung house/apartment. Marami ring hinihingi: Job Contract, Bank Statements, Identification, proof of residence. Co-guarantor, previous landlord, Work reference, etc. They basically want to see if you have the capability to pay the weekly rent. Hindi to katulad ng Pilipinas na first one na makapag deposit sa kanya na ang apartment/bahay. Uso din dito ang bidding/auction (kahit technically illegal siya) kapag there are more than 1 na qualified kumuha ng property. I suggest do your thorough research para hindi kayo magulat.

    Food
Depende to kung saan ka bibili. I suggest stick with Coles/Woolwoorths/Aldis for your groceries. Kung sa meat naman, look for an asian market/butcher. Medyo limited ang choices with those 3 in terms of meat. Ang gastos naming dalawa ng wife ko is $100-$150 per week for groceries, pero kaming dalawa lang yun. If you have kids mas mahal for sure. Iwasan nyo rin yung lunch out or dinner out as much as possible kasi anlake rin ng matitipid nyo. Matutong magluto since mura ang gas (in Victoria).

    Utility Bill
Gas, Electricity and Water are paid on a quarterly basis. Di ko pa ma compute to kasi last April pa lang ako andito and nakikitira pa lang kami. You can check the different providers online mga 3-4 lang naman sila. Do your research din, since every quarter sya hindi nyo mamalayan na anlaki na pala ng gastos nyo.

    Phone Internet
Kung broadband sa bahay this is $60 per month. If you go pre-paid naman. I find that $30 per month ang average. But if you go mobile prepaid, consumption ang labanan (per gig ang bayad hindi per mbps). Vodafone has a $50 28 days (8.5 Gig) plan with unli call and unli text + international minutes/text. Again research what best fits your lifestyle, pwede ka pang makamura dyan kasi maraming small mobile providers ang AU.

    Transpo
Again this is based on my experience here in VIC. Victoria's transportation is divided into zones. Bawat zone may kanya kanyang rate sa transport. In my zone it's 2.80 for every two hours (I think). If you go for a pass (MykiPass) mas mura. Unlimited per day. My 28-days consumption for transport in Zone 2 is $96. Ako lang to, si misis mas mahal since Zone1+Zone2 ang fare nya.

    Hope that helps.

Hello everyone, hingi po sana kami suggestions for properties for rent near Gosford Private Hospital? Mas ok po sana if walking distance lang since hindi pa po kami makakaaquire ng sasakyan immediately. And also, if may suggestions po ba kayo on courier services na ppwde magship from Philippines to Australia? Maraming salamat po sa inyo and God bless!

@ZboyandAngel Cajulao hi, Ilan kayo papasok ng Au at first? Kung couple lng kayo, I would suggest to find a room to rent muna. Renting a property in Au will require documents/proofs to get 100 points para maka apply to get a house or appartment. Just keep browsing in Sydney accomodation here at Pinoyau, there are plenty of pinoys here who are leasing bedrooms, due to a very expensive weekly rental. I'm one, but we are located in Kogarah, close to the airport and city. Malayo ang Gosford, mga 3-4 hrs drive from us, but it is a very nice place to live, quiet and close to nature.About shipment from Phil to Au, I think it's more costly than buying new stuffs here. I don't know anyone who did that sorry.

    Hello guys,

Planning po sana to migrate sa Melbourne this coming January 2018 :)

    1. Yung TFN po ba, need i-apply kahit wala ka pa work? or kelangan meron ka na work before i-apply?

    2. Normally, how long po bago makahanap ng work sa Melbourne? Say for example yung line of work is IT.

    3. For starters, since wala pa work pag dating, meron po ba kayo ma suggest na location kung saan affordable mag stay and as much as possible hindi sobra layo sa CBD para hindi rin gaanu mahirap mag commute papunta sa interview?

    4. Then if magkaroon ng opportunity to have an interview especially for guys, how formal po is formal? Will wearing just long sleeves will do? or need po talaga naka suit? haha

    Maraming salamat! :)

    1. No , and No. If you need to pay taxes then TFN is a requirement.

    4. depends on the corporate atmosphere but generally business casual is long sleeve, formal is suit and tie.

In most interviews, sasabihin sayo kung anong expected ng agent or client from you,
"please come in business casual" something to that effect

For now pinagpipilian ko ay CovaU Energy, Click Energy, or Energy Australia. Pero kung may iba kayong recommendation, let me know!

    Good morning,
Having gone to Australia more than once, the things to do before leaving are for me, to get information about visas, housing ( to privilege which district for which budget), to know the diseases and to be up to date in its vaccines. If you want to find a job, inform you about the various steps, look on websites classified ads

nagstay muna kami sa airbnb for a month. It helps kung may work na kayo agad para mas madali maapprove sa real estate agent.
