News said Dutton will be replaced as Immigration minister which may mean that they might return the 190k invite immigration program. Could be a good news!

Yes, same political party pa rin naka upo pero compare mo sa opposition na c Bill Shorten which will challenge Turnbull in their upcoming election mas maging malala ang immigration nila. Opposition wants Australia first policy by having fewer invites and higher visa processing fees pag sila mananalo. Lets hope c Turnbull pa rin mananalo or c Bishop ang susunod na PM para pabor sa atin na nangangarap hehehe.

    Dec 2017 - Process Passport for 3
Feb 2018 - Start IELTS review
May 2018 - For PTE review - Push out for August review
June 2018 - To take PTE exam and wait next step for the result - Push out to Sept Exam due to not enough time to review

@patotoy Visa lodged na po ako sir, this news is for my batchmates who are 65 ptrs lang.

And on hope na with change leadership, mapapabilis din ang grant... Although ndi nmn nabanggit un sa news. Way back 2016-2017 3 weeks lang grant na. Sino ba nakaupo nun?

ah, nakapag lodge ka na pala. anyway, from what i see, very challenging ang mga may 65points lang especially sa Pro Rata occupation dahil ang dami pang pending na 70 pointers at syempre, everyday, may mga tao na tumataas ang points/nagpapataas ng points.

may mga friends din akong 65 at ang best thing to do ay i-superior ang english exam para maging 75pts sila.

@cyborg5 ndi p nmn yan 40% lang bumoto, shaky position lang c Turnbull.

May nabasa ako n strategy for an early election to lessen risk of another challenge from Dutton.

I think maganda n ndi na cia bumalik sa DoHA, specially that kung sino ang nakaupo, malaki ang say sa decisions. In the corporate world, politics is the main game, same same langbsa Govt.

As of today, shaky pa rin ang leadership ni Turnbull. Sa ngaun parang 3-way race na cno papalit kay Turnbull sa party nila either Bishop, Dutton or Morrison.

C Bishop at Morrison at favor-leaning for immigration while Dutton is not in favor of immigration.

C Morrison pala reason bakit tumaas up to190K ang immigration program nila nuong 2016.

Scott Morrison was the lesser of two evils but please know he isn't spotless. He is the reason why there are refugee children trapped in islands outside Aus (Nauru) etc...

Let's hope for the best on Invites, Grants, PRs.. Etc.

tanong lang po. kaya po ba mabagal ang pagrelease ng mga outcome letters para sa mga nagfile ng assessment nila, ITA,etc dahil sa pagpapalit ng mga mamumuno.

not really, it has nothing to do with change of leadership. naging mas strict na sila sa required points dahil dumami na ang may AU dream at syempre, mas mataas na points with earliest DOE ay mauuna sa ITA.

@Bjane We cannot directly blame nmn sa change of leadership, we are just thinking na somehow, we are not sure, or probably it has influenced the allocation for monthly invites. Or maybe they just felt they need to level up their reqt for migrants. Parang continous improvement, we cannot really say, and they will not share nmn specially if it will imply discrimination diba? Then, there's this news din about the improvement they made on their system kaya nag slow down din lahat ng processing. Would they say na yun ang dahilan? Probably not, because that would mean a fail project/plan. Not to mention pa, the security checks. We can just hope na sana may magbago in favor sa aspiring migrants.

It's just that previous data shows na way back 2016 invites would reach max of 3500 per invite, take note, NOT per month, that's 2x a month. And processing grants is 1-2 months.

Si SM din yung mag pupush na ilagay ang new migrants sa regional for 5 years. From the news going on around here, magiging condition daw yun ng mga bagong mabibigyan ng grants. Sana di agad agad ma push as this has been going on since MT's administration.
