@LittleBoyBlue Good idea sir. Worth it kaya yung USD18 for 3 months subscription sa Skype #? less than a month na lang andun na ako. Welp, better get contacted in advance kaysa doon maghagilap. Sa totoo lang wala pang tumatawag sa akin ngayon dahil siguro Dubai number yung nasa CV ko.

Hi guys! If you'll go back sa early part netong topic, I've shared my experience with job hunting, (I am @smartbrat, I'm just using my hubby's account.) That was 2 weeks after our arrival. I am an accountant by the way. Thanks God kase noong Nov 29, I finally got a job! I am now with an automotive company.
May advantages and disadvantages din pala kapag nasa regional area ka. Although limited ang jobs na available, konti lang din ang competition. Since nga malayo at hindi metro, hindi masyadong madami ang applicants lalo na expats. Parang 3 lang kaming ininterview for the job, and thanks God tlga I got it.
May nakabanggit din sakin noon na advantage natin kung Asian din yung interviewer/boss. Ewan ko nasabi nya siguro based on her experience. Which is also true for me. My boss kase is a Chinese guy, sya din yung nagfinal interview sakin. Kami 2 lang asian sa office.
And if may I add, napansin ko lang, sa office kase namin may mga very young employees, as young as 17yrs old! She's a receptionist but also doing acctg assistant's job. Isa din siguro eto dahilan kung bakit mahirap hanap ng work, syempre most of the time they will prefer Australians lalo na kung capable nman to do the job.

Opinion ko lang...
@tuts1914 / @smartbrat congrats po. tanong lang po regarding sa pagkahire ninyo. tinantanong po ba kayo if you took up australian law n taxation? or yong credentials and past experience nyo lng po ang binabasehan nila? thanks po ng marami!

Naka-receive ako 2 calls today, although yung isa dun for 2nd interview. I would definitely say, worth it yung pag-bili, kasi if one of those calls eh kumuha sakin, ma-reduce na yung waiting time ko by 2-3 weeks siguro, which is malaking bagay na.
