    ayun, sana may magstart or magcomment dito sa thread na ito na nasa OZ na. ang ginawa namin ng husband ko is IELTS, then VETASSES as Architectural Draftsperson at nagsubmit ng EOI last August 8..... Architectural Draftsperson kse is low priority... so we will try to get approval from AACA para mabump ang points. :)

    April 21- IELTS Passed (British Council Sg S$310)/ April-March -requirements for VETASSES, CTC 4 copies,DHL etc. (S$600)/March 19- Apply VETASSES online ($1150 aud)/June 06, 2012 - VETASSES (Architectural Draftsman) feedback positive /August 08- Apply EOI visa 190 at 70 points/September 11- Resubmit EOI (Was asked to change EOI form)/November 22- Apply for SS in WA (arch draftsman still available)/November 22- Resubmit EOI (changed the State from Victoria to WA)/December 05- Initial Contact by DIAC saying WA is interested./December 07- WA SS approved December 10- DIAC Invitation received (1 week down ecomm) December 14- Lodged Visa $3050aud (plus technical issues of ecom visa was "lodged" December 21 daw)/ Dec 28 - Medicals (frontload)/January 8 -CO Assigned/January 23-PCC/ JANUARY 23---VISA GRANT!!!!!!!!!!

    second option namin is to go to NZ which is much faster ata. kse they have this visa to look for job. then transfer to OZ. pero that will be extreme na. :)

    @Aiwink kailangan din po ng SS for Architectural Draftsperson kasi nasa SOL 2 sya. kaya kapag wala po kayong SS di kayo ma-iinvite sa EOI. open po sya sa WA

    @Aiwink SS-State Sponsorship. Lahat po ng Skilled Occupation Lists na nasa Schedule 2 (SOL 2) ay kailangan ng State Sponsorship para mainvite. Architectural Draftsperson po dapat ang ipapa-assess ko kaso nasa SOL 2 sya kaya nagisip si misis ng ibang pwede ipa-assess. huwag na po kayong magapply sa AACA para mabump ang points useless lang yon at mapapagastos ka pa okay na si VETASSES. ang alam ko open ang Architectural Draftsperson sa WA tingnan mo na lang yung requirements for SS nasa $AUD200 yata ang bayad.

    visa 190, si misis ang primary applicant kulang kasi ako sa points ang Skills nya SOL 2 din kaya kinailangan nya din ng SS. Sa ngayon pareho lang ang 189 at 190 pagdating sa timeline ng visa.
    Ang Architectural Draftsperson pwede lang sya sa 190.

This is a very inspiring forum, i have some questions lng po about nominating a skill, my husband work here as Design Engineer(3 yrs)and he's an Architectural grad (UST), binasa nmin yng job description ng Industrial Designer sa Australia and we think it fits the description s work nya dtu, also he has a 6 yrs experience as a Structural Steel detailer s pinas, ano po kya ang dapat Nominated skill nya?     @aliane mag civil engineering draftsperson sya para visa 189 sya. para mas madali ang approval and you can choose a state that you want. kse sa CSOL 190 lang pede visa depende pa kung saan magpa state sponsor.

Matanong ko lang po sir Aiwink san po ba mas in demand ang drafters jan sa AU saka anong softwares po ba kadalasan gamit CAD, ArchiCAD, revit or micro? Salamat sa inputs. Godbless!

    Sa architectural firm or building projects is Autocad at Revit, mas maganda may alam din kayo na 3d at rendering software pero ang Revit may 3d na rin yun.

    Sa mga engineering firm naman ay Autocad civil 3d, 12D at Microstation.

    April 21- IELTS Passed (British Council Sg S$310)/ April-March -requirements for VETASSES, CTC 4 copies,DHL etc. (S$600)/March 19- Apply VETASSES online ($1150 aud)/June 06, 2012 - VETASSES (Architectural Draftsman) feedback positive /August 08- Apply EOI visa 190 at 70 points/September 11- Resubmit EOI (Was asked to change EOI form)/November 22- Apply for SS in WA (arch draftsman still available)/November 22- Resubmit EOI (changed the State from Victoria to WA)/December 05- Initial Contact by DIAC saying WA is interested./December 07- WA SS approved December 10- DIAC Invitation received (1 week down ecomm) December 14- Lodged Visa $3050aud (plus technical issues of ecom visa was "lodged" December 21 daw)/ Dec 28 - Medicals (frontload)/January 8 -CO Assigned/January 23-PCC/ JANUARY 23---VISA GRANT!!!!!!!!!!

    Jul 16 2012 - Visa Granted! (IED Deadline: May 16, 2013)
    Jan 19 2013 - Arrived in Sydney
    Jan 20 2013 - Started our job hunt
    Mar 11 2013 - Officially became a "HOUSE-BAND" :)
    Apr 22 2013 - End of my "HOUSE-BAND" career :)

    Sep 3, 2012 - Visa Granted (IED Jun 11, 2013) Thank You Lord!
    Oct 16-28, 2012 - Initial Entry Completed - Sydney
    July 28, 2013 - Final move to Perth
    Sep 9, 2013 - Started work with the same company i worked for in UAE/USA
    Oct 28, 2013 - Moved to another company.. ;)
