Hi @reandf0709 sa experience ko nung nagpaassess ako last year e di tinawagan yung 2 na pumirma ng SOS ko sa pinas at dito sa SG. Not sure sa iba baka may random na tinatawagan ni VETASSESS.

Ye mate. Power pag both couple at positively assessed and with both superior english. Not only mataas score mo, ofcourse meron yung parang usap usapan na mas madali ma invite? Char!

Bakapag nag open baka ma-invite kayo agad. Same tayo occupation & partner skill. Pagka update ko ng Superior english, na invite ako sumunod na round at 90 points.

Pero sana mag invite narin ng offshore yung mga states this FY. Last year kasi NSW & SA lang yung may invites ng offshore sa occupation natin.

It’s always safe to assume they will call. After all, they reserve the right to do so. Not because others have not experienced this doesn’t mean yours will be the same

Ye mate. Nag work samin yan. Not only tumaas score namen dahil superior, na tyempuhan na invite kami in 3 days.

Hello, I have a few questions...

I'm based in the Philippines, working as a consultant BIM Architect (fully remote) for a large archi firm based in the Middle East. Consultant setup so I basically function like a normal WFH employee, pero contractually, hindi ako under the employ ng company.

Nasa 4 years total ang work experience ko sa ngayon (but not yet assessed by Vetassess) and best-case is nasa 75 points (assuming Superior English, positive assessment of 3 yrs overseas work exp) for Architectural Draftsperson - Subclass 190. It will realistically take another 2 or 3 years of age & work experience bago tumaas ulit yung points ko and improve my chances.

So, my questions:
1) Is 75 points good enough as it is now? So far as per my own research online, nasa 85-90 daw yung most common na naga-grant lately. So I understand kung medyo low ang chances, pero still asking to hopefully be told otherwise hahaha.

2) Would any of you know of any medium-large architecture/construction companies in Australia wherein nagha-hire din sila under a consultancy setup similar to my current job? I know for smaller offices/studios it is more common, as I've personally worked in a similar setup for a small Sydney-based studio previously. But now I'm leaning more into working for larger-size companies if given the privilege of choice hehe (personal career preferences).

Additionally, honestly ok naman yung work and company ko ngayon in terms of salary, workload, etc., but I'm exploring the thought of applying for companies more aligned to my longterm goal: Australia. I basically just want to make better use of my time and current skills in a way na nag-aalign with my long-term goals. So any leads would help!

3) Kung swertehin man akong makahanap ng work for an Australian company in that setup, would it count as "Australian Work Experience" points-wise? Answer to that is probably a no, but still I hope I'm wrong.

As a bored person kakaantay na magbukas ang states, nag deep dive na ako sa stats ng ANZSCO natin, this is from Aug 2024 - June 2025. So to answer @bibimbap question, mukhang 80 points nga po ang good range.

pasensya na po sa previous post ko, di pala pwedeng magdelete dito sa forum nakafilter pala yan base sa points namin. Gumawa nalang po ako ng bago from Jan-July 2025 data.

In my stance, gusto kong nalalaman yung probability namin of invite. Meron naman pong naiinvite ng 65 points pero malamang sa alamang, either Onshore yan at may madami ng experience. If mag-base sa stats, probably ok ung 85-95 points. 85pts with 10% average and 95pts with 40% average.

Hi po, im new here… gusto ko lang sana itanong… for submission ng portfolio nyo… okay lang naman na more on renovation ang experience? so ung portfolio ko consists of mga drafting ng interior… may site works din… makikita naman dun ung mga plans, elevations, carpentry drawings… may nabasa kasi ako sa FB hnde daw kasama ung joinery details sa architectural draftsperson? Please enlighten po para sa mga nakapagpasa na at naassess na 🥲 8 yrs din po kasi experience baka mabalewala salamat po

Hindi naman need lahat ng projects isama sa portfolio. Ang ginawa ko parang tig 2-4 drawings per company lang yung sinama ko tapos lahat yun may pangalan or initials ko. Yung isa kong work wala akong nasave na dwgs kaya ginawan ko nalang ng statutory declaration.
check mo dito sa info sheet ng Archi draftsperson kung pasok yung experience mo.

Hello po. I once watched a pinoy vlog where in the person was working here in Singapore as ID (but she is an Architect), then she proceeds to take the ID code for vetassess. Ngayon po nasa AU na sya with 491 visa, but she told in the vlog that she's been having a hard time finding ID jobs in suburbs. Wala lang po share lang hehe
