@hlblake BP costs $16,000 at the momen, yan yung sa 3 months pa lang but wala pa advise dun sa 6 months kasi nka hold pa most of the schools with the enrolment

@hlblake the amount of BP won't be based on your visa status. However, I think the case is different if you are taking the conversion program from a university.

First things first nothing is sure once magbridging course ka. Merong mga bumabagsak sa bridging but in very rare occassions, with regards to PR naman be sure you have a good score right now because it is taking too long for those who have 60-65 points only. Everything is a risk but it is all worth it pag nalagpasan mo lahat ng pagsubok. Make calculated choices wag ka magbabase sa sinasabi ng ibang tao basta basta. Some took their bridging courses 2 years ago mejo madali pa mag PR nun right now try to ask who are still on the process so you may get a gist on what is happening. Basta wag banat ng banat ng hindi ka masyadong sure.

@hlblake Kapag PR na, i think depende sa Uni, i called up Deakin and they said it’s 13,300 for domestic students and for international students the fee is $14800. Sa ETEA naman, ang sabi is same lang daw yung rate mapaPR man o International Students. This is for BP by the way. Magscout na muna kayo ng schools rito sa Au since PR na naman na, then call to get more info.

@hlblake check mo din yung sa CQU, kapag domestic student may option na pwede itake ung sa theory through distance education + 5 days Residential School. ung theory macomplete sya sa isang term (3 months) tapos may gap pa bago magstart ng clinical placement (240 hours) kaya mas matagal compared sa ibang school. $12480 tuition fee nila for international student, not sure if same lang pag domestic student pero nag-offer sila FEE HELP.

Hey guys, kind of good news. IHNA just got their accreditation back. IRON program lasting for 9 weeks in both Perth and Melbourne campus costing to 12500$.

@lilith similar lang process but may additional and initial process na iba for nurses which is yung registration. Isa yung nurse sa occupations na need muna ng registration before you can get a positive skills assessment from the assessing authority.

Here’s the process

1. English exam.

2. Australian Nursing registration
- caveat: PH trained nurses need to do a bridging program in AU to familiarise themselves sa AU nursing setting.
- may minimum duration of work experience and English exam score to qualify for registation
- when applying for nursing registration with AHPRA sasabihin sayo ng board na need mag bridging and after ng bridging ka pa ma register.
- tourist or student visa ang gamit sa bridging
- after passing the bridging program makukuha na yung reg certificate, practising cert

3. Have qualifications assessed sa ANMAC

4. Proceed with SkillSelect EOI when everything’s ready
- yung iba nakakahanap ng employer to sponsor them a work visa... yung iba nage-enrol ng ibang course to stay in Aus on a student visa... yung iba nauwi muna sa country of origin/residence to start the PR process

Hi po, sa pagclaim ng points for PR po ba if magbridging, alin ang maclaim for highest qualification,
-recognized bachelor degree or
-recognized trade qualification?
Im trying to compute my points kasi before mag go for BP. Baka po ksi masayang lang din kung di naman pala pasok points for PR.

@tnrn Yung bachelors degree lang po pwede nyong iclaim for education. Wala pong points pwede maclaim for the bridging program. However, kung mag uni naman po kayo na 2 yrs, Yun po pwede.

Hi po meron po ba d2 experience regarding sa bridging Program for PR nurse na po. my wife have a 3years inteernational experience mo plan to move in Brisbane hopefully next year. Ask ko lng for recommendation po saan school or Iron program pwedi yung wiffe ko ko po.. in Queensland state.. Salamat ng marmai sa sasagot po.

Question lang po, i need opinion regarding my situation, if ano po magandang gawin, graduate and rn board passer po ko dito sa pinas kaso 1 yr lang ako nagpractice and nawili na po kasi ako sa negosyo so for 5 or 6 yrs hnd na ko nagpractice ulit kaht renew ng lisensiya di ko ginawa, kaso eto na nga nagka visa husband ko and damay ako sa visa niya, ano po ba magandang gawin ko, magaral po ba diyan or maghanap na lang ng ibang field?thank you po ☺☺

Hi all, what if RN wife ko sa Pinas then nagkavisa kami. Wala sya experience sa nursing kasi nag medical rep sya as mas malaki ang sweldo. Ano pathway gagawin nya to become a nurse sa AU?

@carlosau you’ll have to deal with the schools offering a nursing conversion programme and not with the registration body especially if your wife doesn’t qualify for registration in Australia. You can try Googling so you can get a better picture... I’ve seen more than a couple of schools in my search just customise your search na lang by putting the state or city where you’re planning to go.
