    Hi. I'm new here. :)

I would just like to know if there members here who had RPL certification? Would it be beneficial in applying work as a nurse?

I am thinking lang kasi if it would be worth it. Thank you :)

Hi ask ko lang opinion nyo if ok na ba kumuha ng COGS as early as now kasi yung papers ko naforward ko na sa agency and they advised me na saka nalang daw ako kumuha ng cogs kapag hiningi na ng AHPRA. Is it better na kumuha na ako as early as now to avoid delays na din? Thank you po

@skinnyjoyce COGS are valid only for 3 months so it is advisable na kumuha pag processing na for AHPRA registration.

Magsasara na po kasi company namin bec of bankruptcy by the end of this month.

official hospital email address (ANMAC will not accept emails that are sent from free web-based email accounts)

since mag close na kami(although later part pa ito, like after BP), patulong naman po.
    maraming salamat!

Hello po. Good day everyone! I hope you're in good mood while reading this.

I'm new here. And I tried to read as much as I can to at least have some background about s thread na ito. Currently, I'm working as OPD nurse here in Dubai. But before that I had 2 years ER nurse exp back home (PH) and had another 4 years exp in homecare here in Dubai.

I'm here po to seek advice and insights. Mag 6 years n po ako dito s Dubai by the end of this year. Thankful nmn po ako at npadpad ako dito at least hnd po ako nging tambay sa pinas. (I have nothing against sa mga tambay, alam ko hnd lahat gnusto yan, mnsan dhl lang po tlga s sitwasyon ng profession ntn s pinas.) Lalo po't tga probinsya po ako e, napaka hirap po tlga mkpg hanap ng trbaho at mkapasok s mga hosp without "kapit" dun sa amin. I'm sure some could relate to that.

In my 5 years here in Dubai, I'm proud na napagtapos ko po yong sumunod na kapatid ko ng kolehiyo and if truth be told, without my job here (UAE) I would have not... And also being employed here, somehow I became capable of backing up our family financially—especially at desperate times.

I really don't know where to start and what's the first step to take. To any fellow overseas nurses out there who had succesfully landed a job or migrated in Australia paano po kayo nag umpisa? Ano po una niyo inasikaso? Please share your story. A lot, for sure, would be very thankful to read it.

@renzairtsua hello! You need to take English test muna. And then the rest will follow. Dati I tried IELTS para sa apply ko sana sa UK that was 2015 pero hindi talaga ako maka 7 lahat. I took the exam twice na. And then I decided to try Au instead tapos sabi mas madali daw PTE so i took the exam and luckily I passed naman sa first take.

    @Rose05081993 Check out TAFE NSW.
Jobs having contact with vulnerable population (children, disabled, elderly) requires a certain level of certification to get into. This is to ensure that the person taking responsibility for that vulnerable person is deemed qualified to handle any situation that may arise.

@Rose05081993 Accepting or not accepting credentials of applicants is an employer prerogative. Before enrolling, do make some investigating whether the course is legit or not. I do not have inside information about the aged care industry so I cannot make specific suggestions and/or information.

Hello my fellow nurses! We’re on our 2nd month here sa Adelaide. I received an email regarding the outcome of my overseas qualifications assessment, it is assessed as comparable to the educational level of Australian diploma, may I know po if I can process my initial registration sa Ahpra as enrolled nurse? Thank you in advance!

@Soleng AHPRA Assessment is needed before you can enrol in a Bridging Course. You may not need prior AHPRA Assessment if you will enrol in a Conversion course though.

But If you meant AHPRA registration, you definitely need to study here in Au to register as an Australian Nurse.

@Soleng Shortened Bachelor’s of Nursing Course. Usually, kapag may experience ka, it’s only a year of study. Hindi mo na kailangan ng Eligibility Letter from AHPRA to enrol in that course. After finishing this course, pwede ka ng magregister as a nurse sa AHPRA.

Ask lang po, pano po ba kung wala pang CPD points since naregister last year? may repercussions ba? nasa PH kasi ako ngayon wala padin employer. Yung ibang employer kasi naghahanap ng evidence ng CPD compliance. And worry ko din is mageexpire na yung license ko, wala padin ako points. Paano po kaya yun? I don't know kung tama po yung thread, wla po kasi ako makita, ito po yung pinaka close. salamat po.
