@RejNaix11 Thanks po sa pag sagot. Sure po ba ito? May nagbanggit po kasi sa kin na dependent daw po si wife kung hindi ako mag claim ng points for her.

Baka meron po makapag verify. Salamat!

@denz_enriquez1988 you need to provide a reference letter either from HR or directsupervisor/manager. You need to make sure to content on the letter complies to immigration requirements.

Immigration will make a decision based on the visa you applied for.

@imau try asking for more feedback kasi depende sa tao yan... I've been monitoring migration to Aus topics for a good 10 years now (since adulthood) and the trend is pahirap-siya ng pahirap. If 489 ang available for you sa inyo ngayon, I would take it no matter how daunting the future it will be.

I googled kung ang children 489 visa holders would incur school fees, if this is accurate then you won't have anything to worry about:

    https://www.gmskilled.com/paying-school-fees-in-australia-holders-of-subclass-489-visas/
    http://www.saaustralia.org/topic/45510-school-fees-on-489-visa-in-south-australia/

Schooling is not entirely free anyway kahit sa PRs and citizens kasi parang may mga contribution pa rin naman...

Sa medical benefits, may insurance naman...

@imau pwede din po kau mag initial entry muna once na grant na ang visa, ang go back to sg to work for a few more months para pocket money ninyo sa AU for the big move.

    Hello everyone,

Just wondering if filing an EOI immediately when you're qualified will have any advantages? I am now 65 points for Visa 189. Will be 70 by February for my Work Experience.

Do I file an EOI now or wait nalang for February?

hey guys. been a lurker here for some time and just wanted to drop by to express my appreciation to everyone on this forum, laking tulong talaga ng mga tips dito from other posters.

kakasubmit ko lang ng ACS assessment and planning to take PTE in the next couple of months. review review pa onti.

    anyway, good luck everyone!

using this to track my progress din.

was notified by the case officer na kailangan daw may CTC yung documents, kahit na most of my uploads were colored originals.

however, same time kami ng wife ko nagsubmit ng documents, pero siya walang notification.

anyway, napaCTC na namin documents namin and reuploaded, just waiting ulit.
no updates yet, but should be expecting something soon. based sa myimmitracker, may nagupdate na ng results ng June 30(nung July 9 kami nagsubmit). sana positive ang results.

also, next week na rin exam namin for PTE. aiming for high scores.
90L/90R/90S/88W

still waiting for my wife's scores. tska ung ACS assessment namin, inaanticipate ko in the next couple of weeks.
quick update: my wife received 80 overall on her PTE. :)

so just waiting for ACS now, as per expatforum, may nagconfirm na ng results na July 9 nagsubmit.
received positive ACS results! so far so good. magaasikaso na ako ng EOI. meanwhile, waiting for wife’s results.

update lang for anyone who might come across my timeline in the future.

positive rin ung ACS results ng wife ko and nakapaglodge na kami ng EOI nung August, anticipating the invite next round.

meanwhile, may pending correction kami for our marriage certificate (read up on RA9048 if you have similar case), sa NOV10 pa babalikan tapos dadalhin sa PSA office for additional 2 weeks processing pa.

also, my wife's passport is still under her maiden name - ultimately, we decided to get her a new passport with her married name nalang to be safe. kumuha na rin siya ng new NBI Clearance pero may HIT, next week babalikan along with her DFA appt.
update again in case somebody might find this useful.

wife got her new passport, (about 10 days ata?) on time naman sila, delivered to our house.

got our invite October round and nakapagupload na kami ng documents - as many as we can provide. our birth certificate, joint bank account, passport and passport photo, diploma, TOR, COEs, all payslips we can provide, stat. dec. from our previous and current manager, PTE scores, ACS results, NBI clearance, forms 80 and 1221, etc. in case you're wondering, some documents are notarized, most aren't.

i ended up not including my middle name (mother's maiden surname) after all - mainly because sa Visitor visa ko before hindi ko siya sinama and i didn't face any problem naman.

pending pa ung corrected marriage certificate namin, kya inattach ko nalang ung erroneous PSA copy with the RA9048 grant letter along with a cover letter to explain, at un muna inupload ko. once makuha ko ung corrected copy, iuupload ko nalang rin.

we lodged our Visa application October 26, currently waiting nalang. bale medicals pa kulang.
quick update lang in case somebody might stumble upon this and kapareho ng case.

did our medical exam last saturday, may follow-up kay wife pero naclear naman na siya. malas lang natag ako for TB test/culture. di ko pa alam pano magproceed, pero ttry ko tumawag bukas kung pwede ko na simulan by next week.

I already got an invite and turn whether to submit a new EOI or proceed with the visa processing since I inputted wrong entries on my EOI

    1. PTE reference = I am claiming pts for my partner and entered PTExxxx instead of the registration ID. He took several exams and the last one is not proficient. I am thinking they will check the last one if they will access the PTE score via PTExxx
    2. Employment start date = I entered June 2010 while my ACS assessment is after June 2010. I got the assessment result July 19, 2018 and submitted the EOI July 2018. My 8th yr of experience starts on July 2018.

Should I proceed with the application or just submit a new EOI?

@mcbjosa I suggest submit new EOI to avoid further doubts of visa refusal since you entered incorrect details, not sure though if you can correct wrong those wrong entries at the end using visa forns upon lodgement. If it's possible then take that step rather. Let's wait for other co-forum users.

@Supersaiyan. Thanks for the advice. Have you seen/read anyone who submitted their second EOI and did not get another invite? I am also worried if I opt for new EOI, I might not get another invite. thank you

alam ko before meron na approve without issue, d ko lng sure if lately meron pa din?
    thank you

@xylocke yes, that’s a big possibility. Why wouldn’t you follow the ACS decision? Immigration gives high regards on the skills assessing authority decisions. What’s the point getting yourself assessed when you’re not even going to follow the outcome? You need to be mindful, skills assessing authorities are the designated authorities for the relevant occupation. Even migration agents like me who are professionally trained would place value on the outcome of the authority, all the more individuals who are doing DIY applications should do the same.

@cyborg5 yes, that’s definitely the plan. It will just get tighter, that’s the expectation sonest to get the process started sooner than later and get things right the first time as well. This just couldnt be stressed enough.

“years of experience in nominated occupation - in australia within the last 10 years” ang option lng ny is less than 1 year para mgproceed sa next page.

E wala nmn dn cyng points dhl less than 1 year.

Hello Po..meron lng ako concern regarding sa working experience which is not part of the EOI and not part of Engineers Australia assessment and hindi po ako nag claim ng points dahil od experience na sia .

    Cheers to all po
