@hersheythegreat This happened to one of my classmates, so they contacted the uni to inform them about the situation and they allowed him to delay his attendance up to a certain time (as in the classes still occurred, absent nga lang sya). When his visa got approved, he immediately bought a plane ticket and flew to Sydney the next day. He missed two weeks' worth of classes, so he had to catch up on a lot of stuff.

@athelene I'm a little worried. My application hasn't been lpdged yet by my agent. Even though first week pa lang ng dec completo na ako sa papeles. Eh I have a de facto so I'm worried na if sa jan pa nya ilodge eh di ako umabot sa feb na 11 na orientation namin

@hersheythegreat if the issue is your agent, keep following up with them, but then again, start na ng holidays so offices are closed, likely pati DHA.

@MLBS You're coming for studies right? Bring original and photocopies of your travel documents (passport, AU visa, eCOE/enrollment docs). Avoid bringing meat/fresh fruits/plane food (if you're buying food before riding the plane; stick to pastries/bread and try to finish them before disembarking). AU is super serious about prohibited food/items entering their country. Even before checking in for your flight, your suitcases will be scanned with those security wands that checks for drugs (it even detected that I had over-the-counter meds--antihistamine mostly). So make sure you remember what you've brought, especially the commercially-packaged foods and cash, and don't forget to declare them! When in doubt, just tick 'yes' on the customs card.

I recommend doing research on household/personal items that might be cheaper to buy in Manila (like travel adapters for your tech gadgets!). They have Target, KMart, and big supermarkets like Coles and Woolworths that have relatively affordable household/kitchen items, so you can just buy those items when you get here (although in my case I brought my well-loved winter blanket with me to AU instead of buying a new one in IKEA because it was more economical for me).

If you're not sure yet which mobile/telco provider you want to use, you can just pick up a prepaid SIM (like Aldi mobile, Belong, Amaysim, etc) from the grocery store so you have an AU number (take note that you still have to activate the sim before you can use it) that you might need for banking. Get your bank cards sorted out as soon as you arrive, because they could take time to arrive.

At saka kapag my problema poba sa medical nag aadvise cla? kasi sabi sa St Lukes, magtext cla if my problem. Kinakabahan lng po. Thank u

@girmarie Hi, not to scare you naman pero sa case ko kasi, mabilis lang. But I think, it is still on a case to case basis. I suggest, wait for the holidays to finish then baka after non, may Visa ka na. All the best

@girmarie Hi! Case to case basis sya. Yung iba, naapprove visa agad. Yung sa case naman namin, Dec11 kami nag lodge ng visa then ngayong araw lang na approve.

kung no action required naman yung nakalagay sa health assessment mo, mgwawait nalang ikaw nyan for visa approval. All the best! ❤️

Hello baka po may makashare ng idea:
I'll be taking my ielts by 1st week of Feb, tas ang gusto ko sana Childcare(may pathway po ba cxa?) however di daw pede kc Bachelors Accounting po grad ko kaya dapat Masters of Accounting ang itake ko, also gusto ko na sana isama family ko we have 2 kids 2 and 8 yrs old sila, would it be wise na isama sila agad sa pag lodge or ako muna then pag ok na akin dun sila ififile?
