@pmac I don’t know anyone who studied there but it’s still Australia anyway and do you have much of a choice? It’s either you grab the chance to be enrolled now or be affected by the upcoming change. Ask yourself what’s your primary purpose and where should your focus be. Is it to be in a bustling environment or be enrolled? Just being upfront.
    Here’s some info about UniSA.

By the way, we used AECC Melbourne twice before and they’re pretty good. I’m sure their Ph branch is as competent.

@Cassey Thank you so much for the replies. It helps a lot. The changes are still ambiguous. Good thing I got my LOE despite the hurdles in my applications. I will talk again to AECC and see what other schools they can provide me with. Thank you! :)

@Akijo Medyo matagal yung release ng LOE ngayon dahil sa transition. Yung isang applicant 5 mos ng nagaantay. Before kapag nakatanggap ng ganyang letter, dumarating LOE within a week. I’m not sure if it’s still the case though.

Hello po, ask lang po ng advise what should I do best with my situation. I am here in Aus waiting for my PR grant before studying Nursing (have nurse experience in Pinas too) hoping I could get lesser tuition fee kasi nga PR na. With these APHRA changes coming, I am now confuse and reading lots of comments here that no more schools are accepting this year. Should I go and do my english exam to get started for next years intake? or wait for this year's changes? If you have PR is it also true you don't have to do english test? Hope someone can help. Thank you.

@jkk32w Too bad, as in sarado na lahat ng schools now. Yung Monash sana pag asa ko kaso ayun di ko naabutan. :( I asked my acquaintances in AU pero yun nga din sabi sakin hold lahat ng schools now. May isa nagsabi na di na mag offer ng bridging. Yung exam na daw talaga implement by June 2019. Sana lang like UK din na CBT and OSCE, if ever na ganon mas better nga kesa mag aral. Pero accdg sa AHPRA sa nabasa ko parang 3 part yung exams tapos conditional pa rin.

@clea With BP, the fees are the same for PRs and International students. You can either wait til Mid of this year for the transition or study a 1yr Conversion course which is cheaper for PRs. You will still need to do an English test though for your registration.

@clea Conversion is basically a shortened Bachelor of Nursing course. I’m pretty sure marami ang nagooffer ng course. The difference with BP is hindi mo na muna need magpaassess sa AHPRA prior to enrolment. As long as you meet the Uni’s requirements then you’re good to go. Once you finished the course, then dun magstart yung AHPRA registration process. I think lesser ang requirements but you’ll be needing it when you’re done so I suggest you prepare it now too. If you are a PR when you register as a nurse, you won’t need to undergo ANMAC Assessment.

Help guys. Im really infuriated with AHPRA now.

I already sent a Stat Dec, witnessed and signed by Philippine Embassy in Oman. And yet they consider it as unacceptable witness. It is weird that they accepted the first stat dec i made aboit other matter.

The stat dec that they refused was about the wrong middle name i mistakenly typed for Fit2work. It is already fixed and i sent the updated indentity. Ahpra requested a stat dec explaining the matter and that I am known ny my name only. And so i did. But here it is declined.

Here is their email to me.

    Proof of identity
Please be advised that the statutory declaration you provided is unacceptable, as it is not witnessed by an approved party. We are unable to accept Philippine consular officials as witnesses of Commonwealth of Australia statutory declarations. Please resubmit the document ensuring it is signed by an approved witness. For further information on who can sign statutory declarations outside of Australia please see the following link: https://www.ag.gov.au/Publications/Statutory-declarations/Pages/Frequently-asked- questions.aspx#who

    Please help.

@danjoe03 What is the counterpart of Notary Public in Oman? Since there is no Australian embassy located there, you can go to Notary Public.

Good morning fellow nurses! Happy new year!, I was offered a slot for BSN course here in SA and I applied for a credit transfer of our previous learnings, but they’re asking for a course syllabus/course outline, may I know if this is the same as course description? Thank you!
