    @loudandclear - regarding CO Teams, you cannot choose your own CO. DIAC assigns the CO team... based on certain members here, we can say that there are COs who can reply faster, and updates application more often than the others..

    but i guess, DIAC has standards to follow, so i don't think visa application/approval processing time is dictated by the CO, but instead it's based on the documents you submitted (quality/completeness/verification)

    hello guys.. finally, our visa has been granted today (21 Dec 2012). nilodge namin ay visa 190 on 26 October 2012, team 6.. buti na lang nahabol pa ngayon dahil next week xmas break ng diac.. hehehe maraming salamat po sa lahat ng mga sumagot ng mga katanungan ko!! and most of all thanks to God tlga! :)

    @carla_glam - there were documents I submitted wherein original lang sya and it was scanned in full color (specific case in point is my NBI Clearance), it was accepted by the CO naman and gave our visa the next day after we sent the doc.

    ang tagal naman ng assessment sa EA, kakainip/kaka-excite maghintay...

    but anyways, malaki ba difference ng 189 sa 190?! apparently e 190 ang inapply nung agent namin kase daw bukod sa 60 points lang ako, e mas mabilis daw ang 190 visa...tama ba?! :-)

    Er, parehas lang ata eh... Sa pagkaalam ko no difference at all, it boils down nalang to how busy the CO assigned to you! :)

    Ang ibig sabihin cguro ng agent mo is that if you are 60pts, it may take a while before you get your invite.

    But as far as TAT between actual lodgement of visa application and approval, as far as I know, parehas lang ang 189/190.

    hi, got a question po on the visa lodging. my passport's validity ends on Aug 2013 (7 months from now) but i might not be able to leave before this date. do i need to renew my passport or can i just use this when filling up the visa application form? thanks in advance!

    dahil kailangan nyo na magsubmit ng visa application now.. eto ang suggestions ko:
    - submit visa application with your current passport
    - and let the process continue (CO allocation, PCC, and medical)
    - kung anu mang stage ng application nyo at dumating na ang expiration ng passport mo by Aug 2013, of course you need to renew your passport..
    - once you have your new passport, you need to fill-up "Form 929 Change of address and/or passport details" and inform/submit to your CO..

    @abc27 - i think yes. kasi ang visa records mo sa Au immigration is still showing the old passport, pag nagtravel ka na with the new passport baka magka problem sa Au immigration..

    although may nagsasabi na pwede naman daw, basta dala nyo ang old passport..
    pero i think informing them of the changes in your passport details is the correct way to do..
