20 hours kaya ba bayaran ang tuition and other expenses?

adamson187adamson187 PhlippinesPosts: 24Member
Hi,

TUITION FEE: 32,500 AUD / Year.

Thank in advance sa mga sagot, advice and sa pagshare ng opinion

With that high of a tuition it would probably not be enough. Doing it alone would be quite impossible kasi 32500 per year ang tuition nyo.

@adamson187 check nyo rin muna on how to get a positive assessment on those occupations since some need work exp. Baka kasi you still need exp pa after mo mag aral e so always keep that in mind. Student din ang path ko pero I already have a positive assessment so kumuha lang ako ng murang course for the sake ng points. All the best.

@adamson187 work health and safety. Engineering kasi ako e. Mind you, may positive assessment na ako since 2017 kaya di ko na nakita ang sense mag masters. I really cant give you advice kasi it will depend on what field you are able to get an assessment, I can only provide insights if engg related.

    https://archive.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/work/work/skills-assessment-and-assessing-authorities/skilled-occupations-lists/combined-stsol-mltssl

Meron occupation na okay walang work experience and meron din kailangan may specific years of experience.

@adamson187 Pwede mo itong gamitin to estimate your points. This fiscal year tumaas na minimum points required to 65 points.

@adamson187 Btw, basta match sa tasks ng isang occupation yung work experience mo, maski iba yung naging job title mo okay lang yun. Mas tinitignan yung educational qualification and actual work experience kesa sa job title.

Dun naman sa points system may 4 main sources of points - yung age, educational qualification, work experience, and English test results.

I always point out sa mga student pathway to check first if you qualify for the skilled migrant visa. Kung talagang pag-aaral ang purpose mo then theres no problem pero kung goal mo is PR, explore first the skilled migrant pathway and go for student visa kung wala na talagang other way and you wanted to come here in Au. Student to PR is a long and expensive process. You just hope na by the time matapos ang studies mo, nandon pa sa list ang nominated occupation mo for you to apply.

If you have time at gusto makatipid, DIY na lang
Heres's the process( hope covers everything) visa 189,190,489

    1. Check the SOL if your nominated occupation( based on work experience) is on the list
    2. Estimate your score ( current passing score is 65)..you can just google POINTS TEST AUSTRALIA
    3. Apply for skills assessment( assessing body on SOL)
    4. Take english test
    5. Create EOI on DHA website
    6. Apply for state sponsorahip if needed( addtl points for state sponsorship. You can apply directly for sponsorship sa state or for some states, wait for them to invite you to apply
    7. Wait for invitation to apply from Dept of immigration
    8. Apply for a visa and wait

You can prepare all the documents while waiting for the invitation- Documents to support your claims in your EOI.

@adamson187 btw if you plan on having an agent do your research din kasi iooffer nila sayo yung mga partner schools nila which puro universities na mahal ang tuition. You might end up in australia agad pero marrealize mo na your study gets you nowhere so think about your strategy as early as now.

186 visa kasi is dapat sponsored ka ng employer, and I think 407 is somewhat similar.

VETASSESS would be your assessing body kung yan ang naka indicate. Pero kahit magka assessment ka you need to know how to be eligible to apply for PR. Hindi kasi kasama sa MLTSSL ang occupation mo so that's why limited lang ang options mo e. Try to read up further pa sa mga visa subtypes na yan kasi agencies will only help you process documents and advice, but if di ka talaga eligible they can only do so much. Baka masayang lang finances nyo if you just jump in blindly.

@adamson187 unfortunately you need to have a qualification na nasa MLTSSL if your plan is to apply in skilled independent visas. Definitely you need to do some studies in order to get a certain qualification for assessment. Pero let's wait for the opinion of others. Yan kasi talaga ang standard for applying to oz:

    1. Occupation na nasa MLTSSL
    2. Positive assessment in your selected occupation

Don't be too dishearteaned. Best bet is if talagang decided ka mag aral, do a lot of research on courses that can help you get qualified for MLTSSL occupations. Gagastos ka nga lang talaga.

The nuclear option in my opinion? Get an engineering degree. From what I know, engineers lang ang hindi nagrerequire ng work exp to be positively assessed (i speak from experience). Nurses na graduate ng pinas need to take bridging/ conversion programs, while IT professionals need at least 2 years of exp. Of course this option is too extreme, but if ultimate goal mo ang PR, it's wise to consider all possible pathways. You could also study Bachelors of nursing syempre pero you mentioned na ayaw mo na mag handle ng patients e.

Keep on doing research, you might stumble upon some things. Kahit ako naman, di ko nalaman lahat to in one day. 2 years na ako nagbabasa sa forum and up to this day nagbabasa pa rin ako. All the best

Mahirap siya. I am renting a room for 150/week tapos food tapos tuition hindi ko maipon in my 20hr/wk na work.
