@aron_drn Base on other people na kausap ko na PR local student na ang babayaran, difference lang ng PR at citizen is pwede mag HECS pag citizen. Mga nasa 1k-3k plus per unit pag PR. Ano plan ng spouse mo mag conversion din?

@clea yes she plan conversion. Balak Nia sa Perth kaso nka visa190 kmi sa QLD. Mag ask p Sia sa state if allowed . She will do it may be next yr.

Ano po yong unang gagawin para maka pag simula sa student visa pa Australia? I graduated last 2015, Nursing yong Natapos KO na course. Wala po akong experience sa work. Gusto ko sanang mag agency pero parang may mga hindi magandang feedback so sana matulongan nyo ako.. I'm new to this kind of thing. Hope matulongan nyo ako..salamat

@clea hello sis.. san ka dito sa australia? Im planning to do conversion course also kaso sabi nila kapag PR na daw via vtac ang application (Victoria).. and also meron silang tinatawag na atar para maaccept sa uni.. nakapginquire ka na ba sa ibang school? nghahanap kasi ako ng ibang pathway.. may loe na ako kaso wala namang schools na open.. nanghihinayang lang ako sa time kasi baka expired na loe ko wala pa ding available na school..

@LV02 Try IDP or AECC. You just have to book an appointment. Walang bayad ang service nila. Anyone can apply a Student Visa as long as you meet the requirements by the uni and by the immigration.

@LV02 You have to go to their office. May student visa thread din dito sa forum. You can start reading there (Page 1) para magkaroon ka ng idea how it’s done, how much money you need to prepare and of course, the requirements you’ll be needing.
If you’re not a Registered Nurse in Ph, you might have to begin from scratch. BSN is a 3yr course. You will definitely need to pass an English Test first before you can go through the application.

@LV02 IELTS is one of the options. Check the requirements of the Uni of your choice. I haven’t heard of that agency.

@LV02 You need an english test not only to enrol but for the visa application as well. That is a basic requirement not unless that you fall into the exemptions. Ask them the school’s name and the course then check the school’s website to find out about the entry requirements.

If you really want this badly, i suggest that you do some readings.

If staying in Australia permanently is your end goal then take a course that has a permanent residency pathway. Studying here doesn’t guarantee that so you have to think it through and at least know the basics. Not every agency is truthful (based on experience), so you have to do your part.

@anncabanig Your situation is quite complicated. I can’t really give you a clear cut answer. The only way to know whether you are eligible is thru AHPRA Assessment. I’m not sure if they will consider your experience as that of an RN role since you aren’t a registered nurse in Saudi (if I understood it right). It’s kind of risky too because of all the inconsistencies in your application and we don’t know how they do cross-checking. Take note that you will have to provide the same info to ANMAC and you will have to secure COGS in Saudi.

@clea meron kau po ba idea if ilang units ang conversion? medyo mabigay din pala mag 1 to 3K per unit ... kilangan mapag iponan pala ito .. Kilangan pa ba ng English test ( PTE or EILTS) para sa Conversion? or pwedi rekta na lng enroll sa University since PR na po. Thanks sa response.

@pauline sa pagkakaalaman ko lang kapag pathway ng visa is PR you can avail government subsidy like studying Aged Care courses. Yun lang ang na inquire ko. Di ko alam sa TAFE courses eh. I am on Subclass 820

@aron_drn mga 14 units daw depende sa assessment ng school. Ang university ang mag assess kung gaano katagal ang conversion 1yr or 2yrs. Kaya nga eh mahal din pala kahit PR na, nag iipon na nga ako pang tuition ko. Yes po kailangan pa din ng english test. Di pa nga ako naka pag inquire if meron ba nag offer ng conversion dito sa Brisbane.

@clea Thanks sa information... we plan na lng bridging course si misis..masyado long perios pala ang conversion at magastos... ang hirap pala pag na refer ka ng ahpra then walang open sa school slot..paano yan if ma expire yung letter sa AHpra ? kilngan ba mag pa register uli nun?.

@aron_drn san po kayo dito sa oz? ang dami nga po stressed ngayon kasi si ahpra bigay ng bigay ng loe pero halos wala ng open na school for bridging.. pwede niyo po hintayin yung bagong update ni ahpra regarding sa osce exam na papalit "daw" po sa brdiging..

@iamyourangel08 spot on! sobrang nkaka stress tlaga. my sis was processing her papers for two yrs just to get an LOE, then now may loe na wla nang schools..
nkaka dismay , theres a huge demand of nurses pro sobrang hirap ng path ng mga overseas nurses to come here..

Hi Sis @jkk32w .. kamusta na sis mo? .. nagkakaubusan na talaga ng pasensiya sis.. some of those who have their loe's decided na magconversion na lang atleast yun sure talaga...
nakakalungkot talaga..ako sis umuwi pa ulit ng pinas and nagstay ng almost 3-4 months just to have yung 450 hours na requirement ni ahpraand then now wala na palang schools na open and worst baka expired na yung loe ko wala pa din ako school.
try acn sis..ngbigay na sila ng update although waiting pa din sila for their accreditation..

@iamyourangel08 Thank you! yes nkpag apply na c sis ng acn., wla lg sila feedback.
nagka conditional offer sia sa Unisa, pinag revise nila ung GTE then needed additional proof of funds, kc apparently indi enough ung tuition lng na 19k. dapat pala may 35k cash on hand ka. jusko lord. when they emailed her this requirement, after 2business days nag email na sila na closed na! ang saklap! we were just about to send the revised GTE.

for now, may pending application for conversion si sis sa Deakin, na stop lng when Unisa came into d picture. so waiting game ulit..sakit sa bangs!!

at least ikaw PR kana.. naisip konarin kahit mag conversion sia bsta dito lng sa victoria, almost same gastos lg kami since samin sia titira. pikit mata nlg sa 32k tuition. dpa namin alam baka need na nman ng 60k show money hahaha prang mag g ggiveup na ung sister ko

@iamyourangel08 salamat sa idea at response po...wala pa kami sa AUS..
preparing palang po para sa Spouse ko we plan kasi initial Entry by October this year. maganda po kung meron other alternatives- Visa190 kami kasi we plan si misis muna punta AUSI mag work or do registration sa Aphra.

Maganda kung ganun meron bagong qualifications requirements si Ahpra.
currently nasa EU kami.

either QLD or Perth plan namin mag aral sia para meron relatives mga help sa kanya sa Ausi specially sa house po..
