Biyaya po ni Lord kung baket nakapagpatuloy sa exam and by God's provision din kaya naging ok po ang lahat. L-)

@marise32 Thank you po. Yup, nagtake po ako ng mock exam gold kit for review. Naka ilang beses po ako nag purchased nyan. Usually 6 months po expiration nyan kapag binili nyo po. God bless po sa review. BTW, cute po ng profile pic nyo, hehe. Naalala ko si Steven Fernandez yung sinasabi nya na story of two pugs "happy the pug" or "grumpy the pug".

@Supersaiyan Congratulations, bro! Please include me as well in your prayers as I take the test this March 23. Grabe yung anxiety level ko pag iniisip ko na di ako makaka superior kasi sa totoo lang nakakapagod magreview and like what you've said, parang ninanakaw ng pagrereview yung time na pwede mo pa sanang gamitin sa ibang bagay, ang feeling ko tuloy ngayon is yung parang review days for board exam na gustong gusto mo ng matapos. Pero nakakainspire yung story mo na kahit ilang beses mo hindi nareach yung desired scores eh hindi ka sumusuko. So if ever hindi ko man matarget ang superior sa first take, ano ba namang karapatan kong madepress agad compared sa naging journey mo

Pero praying hard pa din na masuperior na agad kasi in addition to the dedication and time spent in reviewing, malaking factor din yung price ng exam. Ang sakit sa bulsa!! haha. Pero at least you're finally done with it, isipin na lang investment yung mga ginastos mo at mas malaki ang ROI pag nasa Au ka na

@irl031816 = will pray for you bro, makukuha mo agad yan for sure. Sa kaso ko ksi aminado ako na naging kulang kulang ang practices ko at naging kampante lalo na sa part ng WFD, which is umaasa lang ako pakinggan sa earphone yung mga repeated questions, but then di sapat. Memorization ginawa ko nung mga unang takes ko kumbaga and employed sa work kaya hirap din maglaan ng time for review, pero nung naredundant ako sa work, yun nagkaroon ako ng malaking time para makapagpractice ng husto.

Pero oo nga bro, grabe yung pinagdaanan ko nun. Inisip ko na lng ngayon na scam ako kunwari.

) Kelangan mag move on sa nawaldas kong pera gaya ng pag move on sa 19 attempts ko sa PTE. Ang naging motivation ko tlga is yung mga scorecards ng ka forum naten na nagpopost ng superior scores nila. Madalas kong icompare scorecards ko sa kanila and pinagpe pray ko na balang araw ibibigay din sken ni Lord yung ganong scores. BTW, doon ko din nakita kung pano yung provisions ni Lord sa dami ng exams na ginawa ko and masasabi ko blessed dn ako dahil sa provisions Niya na yun, though di ko man nakuha agad yung desired score ko. Di pa din ako talo.

Ask ko na lang din sana regrading yung sa headphones kasi diba last time parang nagka issue ka dito? Itong latest exam mo okay naman ba? Saka paano ba iassess kung okay yung dating ng voice mo? And concern ko kasi pag sa Repeat Sentence and RL, pinupush ko yung headphones sa tenga ko para maintindihan ko maigi yung voice prompt, hindi ba mawawala sa pwesto yung mic ko pag ganun?

@irl031816 = ay sorry po sis pala. Sure. As long as may available time po ako papasyal po ako dito sa forum. Utang ko dn po sa forum na ito yung score na nakuha ko. Regarding po sa naging issue ko sa headset, nung time lang po na may kasabayan kaming nag exam sa HAAD nagpalit ng headphones, siguro sa dami ng nag eexam that time kaya spare na headset yung pinagamit sa amin. Itong last take ko, 2 lang po kming nag exam that time kaya may advantage po at bumalik na sa plantronics yung gamit namin na headset.

Sa palagay ko po, mas maganda kung clear at malakas yung record ng voice mo. May isang attempt ako na sablay tlga yung recording (pang 13 or 14 attempt ko ata, not sure), tipong malakas na yung volume ng computer ko at halos sumigaw na ko eh ang hina pa din ng dating ng recording. Nagtaas po ako ng kamay to call the attention ng invigilator at yun sinabi kong halos sumigaw na ko eh mahina pa din recording ng headset kaya nagpapalit ako ng iba. After magpalit, naging ok na at lumakas na recording ng voice ko, 79+ naging score ko sa speaking that time. I suggest din po na wag nyo hawakan yung headset after nyo ma check na ok ang recording not unless tapos na po kayo sa Speaking part may tendency kasi na mawala sa positioning yung mic. Sakin ginawa ko, pikit mata lang sa RS then sa RL nman nagsusulat ako ng keywords kaya hndi ko nappress yung headset. Sa part ng Listening lang ako nagppress ng headset since di na ko nagsusulat doon except sa SST part at wala na ring spoken response kaya ko ginagawa yun. God bless po.

@lecia thank you for your response. Got my PTE score na. Nawalan na ako ng pagasa kahapon since 2 items from the reading and writing fill in the blanks ang namiss ko because I wasn’t conscious of the time and nababasa ko din dito na malaki nga yung bearing nung items na yun like RS, RA and WFD. Then sa listening yung isang word di ko narinig clearly kaya may isa akong blank answer.
Pero so surprised to see the results today!

Our God is really GREAT! Thanks to everyone who are so generous to share their knowledge and experiences here sa group. It’s my first time to take the exam, hope I can also help you in your journey. Here is what I did:

1. I watched E2Language videos from YouTube yung mga videos ni Jay.
2. I used the templates provided by @batman, @Heprex (thank you so much! You guys are amazing

) and the templates provided sa PTE Tutorials as my guide.
I modified it a bit and I used words na mas comfortable ako and mas madali for me to remember and isapuso. Hehe!
3. I used the PTE Tutorials app and for 1 week I answered the free mock tests using my computer siguro mga 8/10 sinagutan ko for that week and then nag exam ako on the final day.
4. Most important of all, PRAYERS! With Him all things are POSSIBLE. It’s the Lord who gives us the wisdom, peace and confidence even when we doubt ourselves. Kahapon lang nawalan na ako ng hope haha feeling ko nag fail na ako kaya napatanung agad ako dito right after the exam kung may pagasa pa ba ako. Nahirapan rin ako sa exam particularly sa Reading kasi mas mahahaba yung paragraphs pati yung answers mas madami compared sa nareview ko sa PTE Tutorials. Haha! Thanks to @lecia for reminding me na prayers can move mountains and si God talaga..grabe! All the glory to His name!

@anntotsky we will pray for you sa exam mo and very important na you believe and claim it na makukuha mo na sya. unahan mo ng angas yang si PTE. sabi ko nga e ninja mode sa exam date. wag magpapadikta sa negative self talk. you have practiced enough, and dami na din ng tyinaga mo kaya on the exam day, give your all kasama na ang positive approach kasi if you will think na di mo sya ma aachieve, it will manifest yan during the exam. Kaya yan ha!
