e.g. Bachelors - CPA Australia
Skilled employment - IPA

@WAHM you don’t need to have your degree assessed. No skills assessment authority are able to do this. They only refer to the CEP document of the Department of Education and Training when checking the equivalence of your qualification. Hence, they will only assess your skills as that’s what they’re meant to do.

Hello. Question lang po. Nag lodge ako ng EOI dated apr 1 for visa 190. Yung nilagay ko na work experience is hanggang mar 15 2018 lang kasi hanggang dun lang naman ang pina assess ko sa CPAA. Nagka work ako ulit Oct 2018 dito sa Middle East pero hindi ko na sinama sa EOI ko. Okay lang po ba yun? Hindi na rin kasi makaka affect sa points ko since more than 10 years na ako nagwowork. Then naka receive na ako ng pre invite from chosen state and they are requiring Full CV/Resume. Should I put sa CV yung current work ko? Thank you po in advance sa magrerespond.

@mabelledita ok lang yun basta yun ang pina assess mo. Sa cv ok lang kung kasama current employment mo, hindi ka nmn nag claim points doon.

Hello po. New here ask ko lang po sana. sorry di na ako nagbackread sobrang haba po kasi..
Nagpa assess ako sa isang immigration consultant dito sa abu dhabi for visa 189/190 for accountant. Ang points ko is 65 which is pasok naman sya, they told me na aim ko 8 band sa IELTS or 79 sa PTE para maka 70 points. Then if ok na lahat ng requirements ko, submit na ng skill assessment sa CPAA.
1. If positive po sa CPAA, may change po ba magrant ang visa 189/190 ko if 65 points lang?
2. kung konti ang change may option pa ba ako to go to AU after CPAA assessment?

@Narudru first of all, if you get at least an 8 on IELTS or 79 on PTE, that’s additional 20 points. Hence if your 65 + English superior, you’ve got 85 points. These days you need at least 90 points for 189 Visa with Accountant as occupation. 85 points can still work, it’s just a matter of waiting since they will prioritise those with higher points. I would say, don’t fixate yourself with just a 189 visa, consider 190 too. I’ve had many clients who we’ve diverted to 190 and 489 visas as the government is stingy nowadays with granting 189 VISA subclass.

Hi po sa mga naka experience ng negative employment assessment at nag request ng appeal sa CPAA, what documents did you submit aside from the supplementary form? Amended/Updated Reference letters or additional documents?TIA

@RheaMARN1171933 Thanks po. actually considered na po sa 65 points yung IELTS considering makakuha ako ng 70 band.
Yes sabi naman sakin they will apply for 190 visa or even 489 visa if unsuccessful yung 189 and 190. Concern ko lang baka kahit ano gawin ko wala talaga akong chance sa visa kasi next March I will be turning 32 na din so after that bababa na naman points ko. I am applying for General accountant and my external audit experience ko di daw nila ipapa assess kasi baka magkaproblema kaya 5years experience lang sakin. But thank you for enlightening me po.

@Narudru try mo mag english using PTE Academic, all categories is conputer based and mas madali compared sa ielts. Just need to get 79 on each band. Para mahila pa taas yung points mo. Need mo superior ang level para 20points.

Hello po, magtatanong lang po sana ako ulit baka kasi may nakakalimutan ako na requirements,magpapaassess po sana ako sa CPAA.

-detailed course syllabus; diploma; cpa at picpa certificates and ids.
-COE and employer testimonial ( pano po pag black and white and naissue, okay lang ba yun or hingi akong bago na colored?)
-2316 ot tax return per year per company
-1 month payslip per year per company
-PTE result
-passport

I'm a newbie here. Mejo ang haba mgback read. My mga questions lng po. ngpaassess ako sa isang agent and ok nman po ung points need lng nung s english proficiency. Anyways, I'm a CPA mejo nconfuse lng ako based s mga discussion:

- ung sa CPAA po ba anu un , need ko pa mag further study? Ang pagkkaintindi ko kc sa agent if ma approved or mg ok ung sa CPAA okay na ung lhat, i mean if mg ok ung next process such as ung EOI, ITA and visa processing pwede nko agad mghanap ng work.. pra san po ung mg rreview pa and take mga accounting exams?

@lizferrera CPAA sila ang mag assess ng employment at education mo. Need ng assessment before eoi.

@lizferrera CPAA is the assessing authority for your occupation. They’ll assess your skills as to how they equate with the Australian standards. With regards to your education, they do not assess it as they are not the authorised agency to do so. That’s the department of education and training which does that. The came up with this document called Country Education Profile wherein institutions from overseas countries are listed and provides the equivalent qualifications in Australia. CPAA refers to this document when deciding the equivalence of your qualification.
