@pink hi pink, i’m aiming to get my audit experience credited din to get the max point, how did you align yun jd sa accountant? I got a coe from SGV but very general ang description of roles..

@Guada I was an assurance associate for SGV, and I used the COE the HR provided (with all the required info). I had my qualification and experience assessed by CPAA, and they accepted it. All came back positive, including my 2 years with SGV as external auditor. Said it was relevant to the role of Accountant-General.

@Blackmamba hi, I took the student path. i study at regional university which is plus 10 points ( 5 for australian study and 5 for regional study). However, kelangan mo din ifactor iyong age mo when you finish the program. all the best!

@Blackmamba regional ibig sabihin hindi sa main cities. search mo na lang iyong postcodes ng regioal studies. sakin USQ sa may toowoomba qld.
naku malapit ka na sa threshold, baka madeduct ka naman ng 5 points sa age.

@agentKams Salamat po. I’m currently at 75 points now kaso magexpire na ang PTE ko but in case man lumagpas ako sa age makuha ko pong points is 80 pts. Do you think that is enough?

@Blackmamba PR189 na kami, nagstart kami sa student visa(2yrs) then postgrad. 85 points ako nung time ng invitation.

@Blackmamba finance officer ako nung nagstudy, pero data entry ako nagsimula. kung may prior experience ka sa accounting it would be possible na makakuha ka ng work. tyagaan nga lang tlga sa umpisa.

@agentKams Thank you po. Dami kasi ako nababasa na if you are just starting you have no choice but to do blue collar jobs. Salamat po, I’m planning to study sa South Australia para may extra 5 prs for regional studies just like what you suggested.

hi @edge kelan ka magpa assess? I'm planning din kasi, ipasa ko lang muna yung mamahaling English test na yan and proceed na rin sa assessment. You have any idea kung kailangan ba na renewed yung CPA license bago magpa assess? OFW kasi ako and expired na license, august pa ako makakauwi to renew. Transcript of records, syllabus and PRC certificate lang meron ako.

@hannahmi This March ako magpapaassess, sabi nung friend ko1 week lang e lumabas na ung result ng assessment nya. Nung nagpa initial assess ako kay respall before di nya nabanggit if need na renewed ung prc license ko, although ung akin e active pa naman sa nov 2019 pako magrerenew. Base dun i guess hindi naman need, but lets wait dun sa comment ng iba.

hello po, graduate po ako ng business mangt major in accounting technology, i have 1.86 GPA, may chance po ba na makapasa ako sa assessment? required ba tlga na BSaccountancy ung undergrad mo?

@reydamz08 if you are applying for accountant, you might need to complete other subjects as your course is not covering other core subjects that is required ro be recognized as bachelor degree for accountant.

@edge just scanned colored copy is okey na. May notes sila sa resolution, around 200-300 dpi ata at sa file size. Check mo nalang sa site nila.

CPA Australia can assess for:
Full skills assessment: Points tested and employer sponsored visas
Provisional assessment: Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) Graduate Work stream
Skilled employment assessment: Optional – requires 'Suitable' outcome for full skills assessment.

As far as I know, kasama na sa bayad yung skilled employment assessment. I'm still collating docs pero pa assess na rin soon, balitaan mo kami. God bless

@WAHM not necessarily sabay. You can opt to have your skilled work employment assessed later. Things like this, CPA can give you the right guidance, you just need to ask them directly.
