Hi everyone. Question lang. Pano po kaya gagawin ko to update yung relevant working experience ko sa EOI?Naassess na kasi ako ng 7 years and was given 10 pts. But last week I just turned 8 years sa work ko (same company and position dun sa previous na naassess for 7 years). I was hoping I could claim additional 5 pts sana. Kailangan ko pa ba magpaassess ulit sa assessing body or automatic na maguupdate na sya sa EOI account?

Just a question lang po, we are claiming for Partner Skills. When filling out the employment history for the partner in the Immiaccount, do you include the entire employment history or only the employment considered by the assessing authority (ACS) na related sa nominated occupation? For partner kasi, wala na yung radio button to classify if the employment is related to the nominated occupation or not. Just wondering if we should include the actual employment history or remove the 2 year deduction from ACS.

To answer my question above, I think the entire employment history should be included.

    Employment history
Provide details of your overseas and Australian employment in the last 10 years.

This can include previous employment that is not related to the applicant's nominated occupation or skills assessment.

List the most recent employment first.

A partial date can be entered in the 'end date' field of the applicant's current employment. For example, Oct 2012.

Hello po sa lahat.. Hingi po sana ako ng input .. I am currently at 75 points for Engineering Technologist occupation EOI updated in May and basing po sa current trend ng invites at sa migration plan ng Au government for skilled migration in the next 3 years medyo maliit ang chance na mainvite ang ganito pro rata occupation @75 points. Okay po ba ang plan na magstudent visa so in time makapagclaim ng 5 points and then another 5 points if sa regional area mag aaral? If state nomination nmn po wala pa masyado opportunity sa ganito occupation pwera lang sa Tasmania and Canberra na mataas din ang requirements sa mga matrix nila.
Or masyado po ba ako impatient ? .Willing to wait naman po sa other states to open pero ang tanong po is hanggang kailan ang paghihintay. Sana po ako ay maliwanagan..

Hello @marvelous, tama si Ms @RheaMARN1171933. Have your skills assessed na muna so you’ll know your points for education and experience. Then, English exam. After doing these two requirements, you’ll have an idea na what your points will be:

    Points Calculator
    https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/departmental-forms/online-forms/points-calculator

You cannot submit an EOI without completing these requirements first :) The minimum points to lodge an EOI is 65 pero to get invited you’ll need to have higher points depending on your ANZCSO code.

    Skills Assessment
    https://www.acs.org.au/msa/information-for-applicants.html

    English Exam

Important to read this first na muna, before you start :)

Hello @Kcm, have you checked na ba in the immitracker kung anu ang trend for your occupation? How many points ba ang kailangan to get invited for your occupation? From April 2019 to June 2019, 100 invitations lang ang nirelease every month for 189 kaya top pointers and yung mga naunang nag lodge ang naprioritize. For 190, any day of the month sila nagiinvite depende sa need ng state.
Based on the trend and sa mga news na nabasa ko, invitations will increase again in the next financial year (starting July 2019).
I assume na you already have Superior English. Have you considered increasing your points by taking a NAATI certification or Partner Skills (if migrating with a partner)? Personally, I think mas madali yun na way to increase your points compared to studying. Check your options rin with state sponsorship (+5 pts) and regional sponsorship (+10 pts). You can submit naman multiple EOIs.
You can try to maximize your points na muna (using the options stated above) and check the trend of invites for your occupation in the next financial year. But if you have all the means (time & resources) to study in Australia and isa din talaga yun sa goals mo, then go for it. At the end of the day, it’s still up to you and kung hanggang kailan ikaw comfortable to wait. All the best! :)

Naisip ko po kase kung ano pwede ko magawa in two years na may positive impact sa application ko. Kung this year ako magsisimula by the time I finish schooling expired na din PTE ko and so take nalang ulit. Yong NAATI is pwede pa gamitin. Pero yon din po ang one year experience ko na related ang hindi na pasok kase 2011 sya, so after two years mababawasan ako ng 5 points for overseas experience. If mag aaral ako sa regional area may expected ako na 10 points. So a total of 80 points ang pwede ko makuha assuming ma superior ko ulit ang PTE. All of the above if ever malabo talaga ang chance na mainvite in the next 2 years. Nangyari na po kase sya sa 70 pointers by 2018 sa pagkakaalam ko wala na nainvite for my profession for 189 (di ko lang sure), sa 190 naman open sya sa Tasmania for 489 (waiting din po dito) and Canberra (also waiting in vain) na ang taas din ng points sa matrix. So it seems ang 75 points na ang new 70 points for 189.

@Kcm how about considering 489? or the option of waiting for the new migration guidelines this November? wala pa nga lang nakakaalam kung anong implication nito sa current applicants waiting for invites. :)

@donyx Waiting din po for 489 sa Tasmania, so far eto palang state na alam ko na open for my occupation for 489. Sa Victoria for 190 may specific engineering fields sila na requirement para maconsider. Marami nga daw changes this coming fiscal year, and sa November, hopefully kahit papano may positive.. .Thanks po :)

thank you po for your information
sa EOI po, ito ngttrial run lang sana ako to have an idea sa questions and i'd be prepared kapag tapos na ung ACS and IELTS/PTE, natatakot lng ako kasi mukhang wala ung 189 na nababasa ko sa choices..

i mean normal lang po ba ung ganito(sa screenshot) na temporarily closed ang normal 189 visa (since ang current 189 sa EOI ay need to be a NZ citizen / or stayed in NZ muna) salamat!

@marvelous as mentioned, skills assessment should be your focus. Instead of spending time understanding how EOI lodgement works, it would be more beneficial for you at this stage to navigate the assessing authority website instead so you can understand better the requirements you need to get a positive assessment.

Kung mag study ka man ngayon and then nainvite ka din before you finish your study, magagamit mo naman yung inaral mo in your career kaya di naman sya masasayang. Right now kasi there’s really no assurance of anything. The trends change and there is a plan to reduce yung migrants for the next fiscal year. So I guess the sooner you can get the required points to secure an invitation for your occupation, the better. Pray about it. I am sure the Lord will give you the wisdom to take on the right decision and the perfect timing to execute it :)
