Student Visa (Step by step)

Hi, mag ask po ako ng advice. I’ll be going sa sydney sa july on student visa, with my husband as dependent. Mag apply na kami for visa next week.
Hindi kami sure kung isasama na ba namin ang kids namin sa visa application or mag subsequent entrant application nalang sila after a few month. Ano po ba ang mas madali? Mas matatagal ba amg application nila if hiwalay ung visa application ng mga bata?

Hello po! I need your insight with regards to my situation. Mag apply na ako nfo student visa, may school na and tapos na mag medical. I-lolodge na ung applicaton ko, but my problem is may tourist visa refusal ako. Ung school ko nag fall sya under Assessment Level 2 which means No showmoney and NO IELTS bt nagtak ako sa kanila ng Englist test. Paano kaya mangyayare saken sa lodgement? Nagwoworry kase ako na mdeny dahil sa tourist visa ko, By the way, na deny ako dahil sa sahod ko, hnd daw enough para makapagtravel sa Australia.

Guys, another topic. My sis is currently studying certificate in leadership an mgt sa au. Mag 1 year na sya next month. However, she doesn’t want to study further kasi wala nga sa sol yun. She wants to study masters in acctg given na cpa din siya. Okay lng ba di niya tapusin? Or she needs to apply for another student visa?

@reginalove same school ba niya itake iyong masters niya? better get advise from her schools international student services. if magtransfer kasi siya to other school kelangan niya kumuha ng release letter from her current school etc. if iyong visa niya is enough for her to finish the master hindi naman niya na kelangan magapply for another student visa kelangan lang niya magupdate sa immigration. if not enough visa, kelangan niya magapply to cover the remaining.

@agentKams ohh. Actually different institutions sya and masters would take her another two years again.

Do you think it’s possible to get approved again if she finishes this student visa then reapply for another student visa and take up master? She’s thinking kasi to save up money pa for masters considering mahal. May ganun ba na instance?

@reginalove possible namn iyan to get approved, she just needs a strong GTE statement for her taking another course. May mga nakilala din naman ako na nagapply ulit ng student visa onshore na nagrant.

Guys, anyone here who were unemployed while applying for student visa? Resigned last March kasi someone from the fam got sick. I hope anyone can enlighten me if someone had the same situation as well.

@reginalove We weren’t working when we applied for student visa and it worked out fine. As long as complete and you meet all the requirements, you’ll be fine.

Question for a friend, baka mayron may idea kung nag-aapply ang 6 month rule para sa mga Cert 3 or 4 students? 6-months to stay in the enroled program then afterwards, pwede na lumipat ng school or course? This rule applies to higher degree such as Masters kasi back in 2015

Hi, my Aunt would like to sponsor my studies in Australia as long as I apply in TAFE NSW. I am a Biology graduate from one of the universities here in the Philippines but I work as a supervisor in an insurance brokers company mainly doing administrative stuff. I would like to pursue Diploma in Nursing pathway to Bachelor in Nursing for a total of 3.5 years. Will this be inclined in my Biology degree? Also, will I be able to earn much while I study in order to pay for my tuition? Thank you so much for your help.

I am Jamaica Rose Simbul, 29 years old, married with one 3-year old son. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines since 2011 with 6 years experience as a staff nurse and company nurse. I am.currently employed as a company nurse in a construction company for 3 years now. My uncle wants me to work in his aged care facility and I am also interested. Currently, I am looking for best options possible for me so I can start processing my papers. I have friends from college whom I am talking to that are currently working in australia but they are giving me different answers. I tried checking the on the interent but I am confused with some of the information given. I was hoping that you could help me with this one.

Hello @agentKams How's the student life in Aus ba? Can you share? Kasi I am contemplating if I will try Student Visa. Nakalodge na ako EOI at 65points, which is unlikely to get an invite with today's trend. If ever I will decide to take the Student Visa, i can include my spouse and daughter. Not sure if feasible ba to with one anakshies

@TheRealMe24 Hi, I was student with a family ( 1 child). Feasible naman siya, tiyaga at sipag lang. Overall experience? I would like to study again, hehehe. iyong first sem lang tlga ako nagstruggle pero very helpful naman kasi ang mga instructor at lahat ng resources nasa uni na kaya less stress. Exams and assessments kayang kaya gawin at ipasa.

Hello po, I'm planning for Feb intake 2020 in one of Sydney unis/college. Accountancy is my intended program. Is it better to take the ielts/pte on september and start applying on schools right after getting the results? TIA for your responses

@rai102302 saglit lang po ang processing. Once settled napo ang tuition fee, the confirmation of enrollment will po given within 3-5 business day, sa uni na inapplyan ko po yun ha. Just gather the documenst for student visa lodging para di napo kayo magahol sa time. :

@marrytonyAnana I paid medibank from the Uni na inapplyan ko but in order to get the certificate, we have to log in the medibank website and put the student number. They'll be sending the certificate ASAP sa meail mo po.

@MsJean Hi I took my ielts september 2018 and yung intended course ko was feb 2019. For me much better kung mas maaga para less stress din. Nag-apply na ko sa cqu as early as july kaht wala pa akong IELTS. Tinanggap naman nila and binigyan nila ako ng offer letter pero after mo makuha yung IELTS result dun nila ibibigay yung full offer.

@Cassey hi po, tanong ko lang po, tita ko kasi punta dito as tourist, pwede ba nya ma convert via nya sa student?bale dito nasya mag process ng student visa nya, at may school po ba nag tatanggap kahit walang english test?bale mag aaral nalang sya ng dagdag na english subject sa school mismo...

ano po kailangan nyang dalhin na docs for student visa application. thanks

@reena_june24 Sorry but I don’t know anyone who’s been in that situation. If you’re already here in Australia, you can call AECC and ask them if your aunt can apply here.

I’m not 100% sure but I think the English Test is also a requirement by the immigration.

@reena_june24 walang conversion from tourist to student visa, she needs to apply her student visa. yes pwede as long as walang "no further stay" condition sa tourist visa niya. may mga school na nagooffer with english course package though additional nga lang na bayad iyon. as for the requirements, see above link.
