Hello. Planning to submit my documents for assessment and have few concerns hopefully someone can enlighten.
1. One concern is yung transcript of records ko ay may "For Board Examination Purposes Only" na note sa last page. Any one tried this and still got positive result? Or I should not risk and wait for 1month until my new copy is released?

ECE board passer but 9hrs/7mos full IT Exp and thinking to include board certificate but yet to be requested (as I never tried to get it from PRC back then). I have to renew IECEP membership approx P3500 including fines just to get the 'Certificate of Good Standing' required by PRC. Go to Robinsons Las Pinas to renew PRC ID and go to PRC main office to finally request a Board Certificate Copy. Is it worth it to do all these and does board cert matter(now) in the assessment?
I heard a few only got 2yrs deduction from ACS even though ECE grad. Any tips?

If I only get 2yrs deduction then by Feb 2020 I can automatically claim +5points since I'll have 10-2= 8yrs exp, Or it doesn't go that way?

Hello, kailangan po ba recent yung mga CoE? yung ibang CoE ko kasi aeound 5 years ago pa.

Check nyo po dito kung anong states at yung chance ng both codes sa iba ibang visa... might help you decide which...

Hi @karlboy applicable din sakin both 263111 and 263112, based on your signature you decided to go for 263111. May I know the reason bakit ito napili mo?

263111 po kasi nasa mltssl siya and yun yun din po yung pinakaunang work experience ko... kaso 4 yrs ako doon sa first job ko binawasan ni acs ng 3 yrs kaya parang useless din... pinagiisipan ko nga po magpa assess ng ibang code...

Hello po, tanong ko lang po re: assessment with ACS. Ngayon ko lang kasi nakita na AQF Associate Degree lang na-consider ung sakin. Supposedly, Bachelors Degree dapat. Graduated BSIT course, 4yrs total yung course. May idea po kya kayo bakit assoc degree na-consider and hindi bachelors?

Most likely your university is listed under section 2 and your average GPA is not within 1.00 and 2.00 bracket. They base this as per the Country Education Profile created by the Department of Education and Training. ACS has no say on this part but just follows what is indicated on this document.

Hello kapag employment history po ba ang ilalagay yung mismong start date ko or yung nacredit lang po ng assessing authority? Actual start date, june 2014. Pero - 2 years po based sa acs. June 2016 lang ang macredit, so alin po ang dapat ilagay sa eoi

Hi! Question lang po kung may effect sa education points yung assessment ng ACS. Pag di po ba pumasok as bachelors sa ACS assessment dahil section 2 school, magiging 10 na lang din po ba ang education points?

Hello po! sana may makasagot, i have been searching for topics here pero hindi ko masyadong maintindihan, sana pwede po akong maliniwanagan sa mga sumusunod:
1. I’m applying for a database administrator, ano po dapat na IELTS kunin, academic o GT?
2. Pano po yung idea sa pagbawas ng years of experience? May 4 years of experience po ako, wala naman nabanggit na binawasan ang years of experience, ang takot ko baka ibig sabihin nun lahat binawasan pala.

As per ACS guideline "If you are unable to obtain an employment reference on a company letterhead from your employer, a third party official Statutory Declaration or Affidavit written by a work colleague may be considered."
"The Statutory Declaration or Affidavit must be written by a third party work colleague and NOT written by you, the applicant. Self-written Statutory Declaration or Affidavit will be assessed as not suitable.
A Statutory Declaration or Affidavit written by a work colleague needs to describe the working relationship with you, the details of the duties you performed and with relevant dates of the employment. It is preferable that the work colleague writing the declaration be at a supervisory level."

tsaka ang alam ko dapat senior colleague or former manager yung pipirma.

@Al5yd thanks for the response. Meron po kasi nakalagay na dapat merong mag witness. Not sure kung sino pwede mag witness. Pwede na ba agad to sa notary public?

1. ang alam ko is IELTS GT, yung academic is for nurses/medical workers
2. minimum na binabawas is 2 years talaga, parang kinoconsider kasi ng ACS yung first 2 yeas exp mo as training.

For the same job ba to? Ang alam ko pwede mo sya i-split into 2 kasi pag add mo nang employment history during lodging, may question whether you want to claim points for this employment, then select mo na lang as No tapos enter mo ulit sya pero yung dates na na credited(example 2016 onwards) then specify mo sa option na you want to claim points for this employment.
Hopefully mag comment din yung mga nag Lodge na.

Both work experience presentation is acceptable.
May iba na preferred na nakalatag lahat ng experience from the start (of within the 10 year period), yung iba naman they present it as straightforward na kung ano lang yung need ipakita. Both are ok. I guess ang downside lang ng listing all of your experience is the possible error na mai mark mo sya as claiming for points - which is masyadong critical.

This question has been asked numerous times here and we are ok to address it ng paulit ulit dahil napaka kritikal nito and dito madalas nag mumula ang mga error ng iba.

basta make sure na tama ang # of years na minamark mo to claim para walang issue, etc

Good Day po! May question lang po ako regarding ACS Accreditation/Work experience point system. Chinecheck ko po kasi ang points ko, magmamatter ba ung result ng ACS accreditation sa ica-claim kong work experience? Kasi I have total of 8yrs work experience which is equivalent to 15 points, and BS CoE graduate sa Section 1 school na dapat 15 points din. I have all the needed documents. Tama po ba ung assessment ko sa points?

This is what I did.
Kasi sa SA state sponsorship, nakita ko dun na 'list your employment history'. Kaya sa pag gawa ng EOI sa homeaffairs website, para consistent, nilagay ko dun lahat ng work experiences ko then just selected as NO yung mga hindi counted ng ACS. May ini-split din ako into 2. Then nung gumawa na ko ng SA state sponsorship application, nilagay ko lahat ng employment history ko regardless kung related sa skill ko or not.

hello, to answer, yes, it matters 100%. there are factors like educational background and alignment of your job experience to your nominated occupation. yung 8 years of experience mo may be reduced depending on their assessment.

suggest ko to read carefully ung guidelines ng ACS, actually nandon yung sagot sa tanong mo.

Actually doubtful lang ako dahil kung magminus si ACS ng yrs of experience saken baka mag fall to 65points ako. which is sabi ng iba mahirap makapasok daw. another question lang po, since ang pag lodge ng EOI, ACS assessment and ielts ay may 24months validity. Automatic bang mag adjust ang point sa EOI if madagdagan ng yrs of exp? or need pang mag pareassess ulit?

turning exactly 8yrs ako sa january 2020 but planning on filing ACS assessment (na maaassess lang ung 7yrs) on November.

ung yrs of exp ba ung naassess lang ni ACS o counted na rin agad ung gained experience after assessment?

Of course. That’s the whole point of getting a skills assessment. You base your points according to the outcome.
