hi. just want to share my experience.
May 19 - arrived in Perth
May 20 - met with migration agent
May 23 - got CoC from school (VET IT course)
June 9 - Visa lodged on shore
July 1 - started attending classes
July 31 - Medical exams
August 2 - Visa granted!
background story:
been trying to apply for student visa way back 2013
discouraged kc ang laki ng show money
still have no money to show now pero ginamit ko lang PAYG certificate
ng tatay ko na PR sa Regional area dito sa aus.
Im almost 40 when i lodged my application
finished college in 10 years (Computer Engineering)
wasted many years sa jobs n wlang kinalamn sa course ko
my recent job wala kinalaman sa course na inaaral ko (Construction)
** the important lesson i learned:**
Hindi kailangan ng show money
if a relative or your mom or dad in australia is willing to sponsor you
earning at least AUD60000/year.
but immigration rules changes ALL the time. sometimes changes will be in your
favor. always check

I'm now on the process of applying for a student visa. Anyone here that's familiar with the Cohort Go Payment? I saw that they offer cheaper exchange rate and I can pay in peso din which makes it very convenient. With my agency, I could pay my OSHC via Cohort Go and when tried so, they gave me their local bank details din. Now I'm wondering how I should pay it, local branch lang kasi ng ANZ bank yung meron eh and I don't have an ANZ account yet. Can't figure out naman how to transfer online since most PH banks don't have ANZ bank sa bank-to-bank transfer nila. Is the only option OTC payment lang talaga? I'm living in Laguna and Makati pa yung bank branch. Hope someone could help me about this. Thanks!.

hello po.. tanong ko lang po ... since almost 40 na po kayo, how do you plan to attain PR? kasi po yung asawa ko, 40 na po siya this year ... we're really contemplating on a student visa kaso baka kapusin kami sa time para makapag PR knowing na hanggang 45 lang pwede mag-apply ... gusto lang po namin i-weigh yung options namin if AU is really right for us.

Hi.. Have anyone experience receiving COE after 2 weeks from payment? I already paid the school and the insurance last month but until now I haven't receive the COE yet. The agent told me it will take 2 weeks to get the COE.

Of course, you can bring your spouse. Hindi naman tinitignan kung anong level of education nya.
Required din sya mag medicals and pay visa fee. I think 50% of the amount of your visa fee yung kanya. Double check mo pa rin.
Depende kung anong pag-aaralan mo, but ang dependent ay 20hrs kapag Bachelors degree and below ang working rights nila per week, same sa primary student applicant.
Pag Masters and above level, full working rights ang partner.

Can someone enlighten me po.
I was filling out the Health Declarations Form pero nagkamali ako ng nalagay sa Birth Place ko and "No" yung na-answer ko sa Health Declarations about being a trainee sa childhood centre, dapat po pala "Yes" nalagay ko dun since ECEC course ko and na-submit ko na yung form and nag-generate na rin ng Referral Letter. My agent told me that it's okay and just "Delete" it and do it again pero nung ginawa ko na, nakalagay na is it will just be removed sa ImmiAccount ko but my application is still there and if I wish to withdraw, I need to fill out the Withdrawal Form (1446) pero yung options dun is for visa applications lang (which is hindi ko pa nagagawa) and not for Health Declarations Form. Will this affect my Student Visa application once gawin ko na sya? Super worried po ako tho hindi pa naman ako nakakapagpamedical plan ko pa next week. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.

@jacqbrions If you haven't done medicals yet, you can still make corrections during the medical exams. Just inform the person who will be taking your details that you intend to make corrections.

@jacqbrions That would still be ok. Just be sure to bring along the new document with proper HAP ID when you do medicals.
