Good afternoon. I have a question about claiming points for spouse. CPA Australia Migration Assessment outcome- The result of this assessment is that you are academically suitable for migration under ANZSCO 221111- Accountant General. But yung Skilled Employment Assessment Outcome nya is : The claim of skilled employment made by the present applicant below can not be found adequate to work at an appropriate skilled level as 221111 - Accountant General. Can I still claim 5 points for my wife kahit ganyan ang outcome?

@maricrissyy if you look at seek.com most "accountant" position really require iyong CPA qualification. however, if you have work experience and have exposure sa mga specialised field of accounting like audit makakahanap ka ng work. sa mga entry level(AP/AR), expect mo na madami kang magiging competition dito dahil anyone can have certificate in bookkeeping/accounting.

Nabasa ko po sa kabilang thread(General Skilled Immig Visa) from ms @RheaMARN1171933 na, when claiming partner points, only Skills assessment(qualification) is required, not required na yung Skilled employment assessment. Same case din kasi ako. Mejo naconfuse ako. Hehehe

Hi Everyone, so currently I have 70 points. I just stepped to 32 years of age last June. Is it true that since my days is already counting towards 33 my points for age will be only 25.
And how long is the wait generally if you have 70 points?

You can claim 30 points on age as long as you’re still 32. I’m not sure which visa subclass you’re referring to but withbyour points it will be unlikely you’ll be prioritised for an invite for 189, so definitely a
Very long wait. Look into 190 or 489 instead. All the best.

Hello @batman! Mag start pa lang ako ng process eh. Anyway thanks for the info! So, I think sa 221213 na lang ako. Currently kasi Internal Auditor ako, so kino-consider ko if sa 221111 ako mag papa-assess baka pwede naman I-consider as general both external & internal. Kaso, may impact ba yung outcome ng assessment kapag nag hahanap ng work? Like for example, positive ako for General Accountant pero pwede rin kaya ako makahanap ng work for audit kahit na sa 221111 ako nag pa assess? Thank you.

Yes, you need to submit the same documents and at times even more. Evidence of payed employment is always required that’s why it’s best to already tailor your documents for assessment based on what’s also required by immigration. That way you don’t have to re-do things again.
Often times when clients would come to us to seek assistance after EOI, we would still need to review the documents they use for skills assessment. most often than not, the clients have to revise the letters they’ve used so as to be compliant to the immigration requirements.

Hi all, i would like to ask for your help or advice. I am planning to migrate to Australia. I've been working as home-based freelancer (via Upwork) for 9 years now. My clients are from Australia, i am doing bookkeeping functions for them. Nabasa ko dito sa forum na required sa assessment ng CPA Australia ang payslip, proof of employment, ITR etc. Itatanong ko sana kung ok lang ba isubmit ang certificate galing Upwork na freelancer ako or magrequest ako directly from clients for certificates na i am doing freelancing jobs for them. Wala kasi akong maipapasang payslip and ITR dahil last year palang ako nakapag pa register sa BIR. I am currently reviewing IELTS pero naiisip ko baka hindi ako pumasa pag magpa assess ako. I am 37 and CPA here in the Phils. Hope to hear from you. Thank you.

Thank you @batman for your answer. I have just checked sa ANZSCO at nakita ko na pwede pala ako sa Accountant (General) occupation dahil ang job description na required ay almost 90% job role ko for my existing clients in Australia. Yun nga lang po hindi ako considered as their employee since i am working from home here in the Phils. Pano po kaya yun? May chance pa rin kaya ako kung magpa assess ako? Thank you again.
