guys ask ko lang. may difference ba yung processing time kapag ang sponsor is PERMANENT RESIDENT kesa sa CITIZEN na??

Regarding your question. “ we need to approve your sponsor”. I think it’s a recent change in the immigration policy for partner visa. That means your sponsor must be approved for the same criteria as the applicant ( character, financial capability to sponsor ). If your sponsor gets approved, then you can lodge your application for 309.

I was merely responding to his question where he quoted what he saw in the website. So I said MIGHT because I’m not so sure but I heard that it was one of the planned changes for the 309 process.
If it hasn’t changed officially then we’ll and good.

But it might change soon so the others who are planning to lodge, do it quickly if possible before those changes take effect.

Recently, I uploaded our messenger chats since 2016 and proof of my AUS citizenship.

Actually, I was worried that our application may go through a difficult processing since ours is a same-sex set up.

But hey Australia has said yes and so we are ready to tie the knot soon as he arrives here next week, with a job waiting for him!!!

I couldn’t be thankful enough. Now we could start our lives together.

For those still waiting, don’t lose hope. The wait may be long but it’s what makes the grant all the more sweet and victorious.

Ung iba natapos lng ang Visa nde na maka alala bumisita or kaya mag kamusta.

I mean we must keep this thread alive to serve for others waiting.

That’s the essence of joining a thread.
We can continue shedding light to others who are still waiting or those who may have questions as well.

hindi pa tapos ang journey namin. actually as you know we are still in the dark kasi walang communication from whomever. but your news spark a hope na things are moving at the Manila office.

Well ung iba jan wag mo na asahan. Nung sila nag grant contodo congratulations tayo at whatnot. Nung tapos na sila dedma.
Pwede ding may inggit. Haha!

To answer that concern about the ghosting na nangyayari dito right now. I think for me..when I heard about your grant, may kunting inggit kasi "Sana All" but mas nangingibabaw yong saya for you at yong hope na may umuusad na application from Manila office. Kasi for 2 months parang tahimik lang tlaga cla. And I think yung ibang tao dito maybe hindi na cla nag checheck for any updates esp. those who are still waiting coz they maybe going through something.

At yung mga na grant nman, baka they are also starting to build their life in AU and hindi nman cguro sinasadya na kalimutan ang forum.

For me, Im still waiting and its been my 15th month. Still lumalaban and hopeful that good news is coming. So for those who are in the same boat, know that you are not alone.

@summer28 well said. Thats very heartfelt. Wag mawalan ng pag asa matagal lang tlga processing even my friend nag apply onshore this april, they are expecting 24mos or more processing. Australian goverment nag cut down numbers sa quota so ang effect is longer processing time.

Hello sa lahat... exactly 16mos today yung visa application namin. Umuwi ako dito sa Pinas nung Sept 5 for a short vacation. Nakalimutan ko na actually ang visa application kasi ayoko ma stress.. buti nagbasa ako dito sa thread and so happy to know na me nagrant na. Congrats kindred 😊 such a blessing!

I checked our immi account and yung received status suddenly naging initial assessment at me flag. Di ko napansin me message na pala samin nung sept 5 day mg flight ko and napalagpas na namin ang 1 wk para mabasa. Required doc is Cenomar. Kahit papano umuusad na. Check lang din kayo ng immi account. Praying ma approve na tayong lahat soon para happy lahat 😊

Required doc is Cenomar or Request for Advisory on Marriage (PSA)? para sa defacto or married na? salamat po sa sasagot.

PS -- ask ko lang po kung posible ba mag-apply sa Singapore ng 309 Visa. Yung (applicant), Misis ko magtourist lang sya then saan sya punta para mag-apply? high commission? VFS?

and may certainty ba na sa Singapore, ma-poprocess yung 309 application nya? sa singapore kasi pinakamabilis na median approval time. may nagsabi kasi sa FB group na yun daw ang nireccomend sa kanya ng kanyang "immigration lawyers".

thanks @giginiclaire. may point ka nga. tsaka wala ng paper application ngayon ng 309/100. online na lang talaga. kaya malamang ibabase nila yun sa permanent address ng applicant. mukhang sablay yung "reputable immigration lawyer" nun nasa fb group.

I know it’s a temporary visa but technically it is an immigrant visa.

opo meron na agad medicare kapag 309. temporary tapos pag nag 100 po saka pede apply ulit for another na permanent card po

punta lang sa centrelink tapos yung visa grant at passport tapoa bibigyan ka nila papel na andun na nos ng medicare mo. t
after 2weeks dadating na sa post mo yung mismong card. apply na po kayo agad kase if ever magpacheck up kayo dapat may medicare para di mahal babayaran
