Anyone here na pwedeng pakinggan yung recording niyo? I got low score pa rin sa speaking which is mas confident naman ako sa speaking kesa sa writing pero ang score ko ay (S: 27; W: 73) Yung oral fluency and pronunciation ay both 10 ang score

Tinry ko naman yung mic before exam. Malakas na din boses ko. Ginamit ko din lahat ng templates. I can send din po sample ng recording ko. Hindi ko na po alam saan ang mali.

Hello po...napansin ko lang may mga naka score ng 90 sa Speaking sa actual test. Ibig sabihin po ba nito, hindi kayo nagkamali sa pronunciation, or nautal, or nagpause sa RA, RS, DI, etc. ni isang beses? Nagrereview na kasi ako for December test. TIA

@Erwann05 hello po. 90 din ako sa speaking. Mga 95% direcho po ako nagsalita. Sa answer short question may dalawa akong sagot na "i don't know". Kaya di ko inexpect na makaka 90 ako haha

May question lang po about PTE. I tried APEUNI na app for Retell Lecture using Supersaiyan's template. Then I tried to listen to other people's answer na mas mataas score. Ang template lang nila is ganto na paulit ulit lang pera mataas scores nila:

Hindi accurate ang apeuni. Madalas din mababa scores ko dyan compared sa iba pero minsan pag marinig mo sila sobrang basic ng sinasabi pero mataas ang score. Tingin ko sa linaw ata ng mic nila yun. Pero nung ngmock test ako sa ptepractice nka90 pa ko sa speaking. At para mabuhayan din ang mga nahihirapan sa speaking, may mga mali akong words s RA pero diretso nalang ang basa ko binalewala ko ung namispronounce kong words. Tapos sa RS, andame kong flight of ideas tulad ng sinabi ko dati dahil makakalimutin ako ang ginawa ko nag sabi nlng ako kung anung words anglumabas sa bibig ko para matawid ko ang sentence kahit hindi sila tugma at magtunog fluent lang, ayon nga nagulat ako nka90 ako sa speaking pero mababa ang listening ko dahil siguro sa RS na hndi ko nakuha ang tamang sentence. Basta sa lahat, wag kau panghinaan ng loob, isa din akong hirap s english pero Idaan lang ntn s practice at technique yan. Nasa diskarte natin yan. Lahat tayo makakasuperior. 😊

Hindi accurate ang apeuni sa speaking section. Parang deaigned sya sa mga chinese lang. Reading and listening section mas ok sya gamiting for practice.

Hi, first time ko lang po here. Actually, napansin ko rin na karamihan ng mga sinasabi nila is paulit-ulit lang gaya ng "It is all about" then a keyword lang (not even a sentence) o di kaya minsan "It is also noticeable that (not even a sentence) but they got a high score. Dahil dyan, totoo po ba na it is all about fluency and not about the content? May gumawa na po ba nito in the real exam? Nakakatempt kasi gawin pero nakakakaba din gawin. Hehehe.

hello mga kapatid - para sa Describe Image at RL, hindi talaga recommended na mag impromptu speaking tayo kasi mahirap mag compose ng sasabihin, all the more within the 40 second time frame. Most of the time we will find ourselves at a lost. Ganito yun unang strategy ko nung di ko pa nadidiskubre ang mga templates dito. I timed myself and sabi ko, imposible to a na mailahad lahat in 40 seconds? kaya tamang diskarte talaga ang templates. Ito ginawa ko for each

Describe Image - I used the template.
During the 10 sec prep - I took the information for the highest and lowest value. Maski dalawang pie chart pa yan, or multiple bar graphs - dahil hindi mo macocover lahat pili ka lang ng 2 values)

sa Intro, I inserted the words na nasa image like title ng graph and yung categories, then yun body na (with the highest and lowest value), then conclusion.
Just note na there are different templates for each DI category (pie chart, bar graph, photo, process, cycle, map - etc)

Tama na you write down the template during RA dahil doon may napakaraming extra time to write - para di ka mawala. Practice maigi para maski na you are reading or glancing through the words, somehow it will still come out as fluent and natural at hindi halatang memorized.

Retell Lecture - sa retell, i listen carefully sa recording to take the main topic and wrote down 2-3 complete and exact sentences from the recording and yun ang ginamit ko sa body - followed by the generic conclusion.
Again, there is no way na mag impromptu speaking sa RI, and literal na binasa ko lang yung mga sentences ( pero syempre i papasok nyo yun sentences na gramatically correct pa din yun umpisa and not just say the sentence ( alam nyo na ibig ko sabihin )

I always suggest to practice using the actual materials sa exam ( sharpie + laminated graphing paper) - this way wala ng adjustment na magaganap sa actual exam at mamanage nyo maigi yung pagsusulat nyo. Ako sa dami ko nasusulat hinahati ko yun each page dahil kung hindi e kalat kalat ako magsulat tapos minsan dko maintindihan lol struggle na tunay.

Sa may mga struggle sa speaking - wag panghinaan ng loob. By the use of the templates maitatawid nyo ang speaking. We stand by our advice na practice lang ng practice ng practice and ma superior nyo iyan. Sa RA - read in phrases, and practice like you’re telling a story or statement, and make sure na you are able to express the tone of the passage (informative, interrogative?). The goal is to be able to pass the message across as clearly as possible. I know some are using the style of moni magic na napakabilis magsalita - it’s your diskarte kung susundin, pero I cannot advocate for it kasi hindi yun ang sinunod ko - kasi I followed what is right and made sense for me personally (natakot ako mag take risk din)

DESCRIBE IMAGE - modified template from Sonny English

RO - Ang technique dito wag mo paghiwalayin yung alam mong sure mo na magkasama. Better na may partial score kesa wala.

SWT - atleast 50 words and gamit lang connectors FANBOYS
-nagpadali ng buhay ko dyan ay yung paggamit ng "and." malaking tulong yung "and" kaya nakagawa ako ng isang sentence na at least 65 words.
Huwag ka ring magmadali sa part na yan, pati sa SST na rin. May 10 minutes ka para magbasa/makinig, mag-construct ng sentence and mag-proofread.

hello po, tanong ko lang po ano pinakaeffective way sa repeat sentence? beside po sa acronyms? sa write from dictation po kasi nagagawan ko pa po ng way kasi medyo nasasabayan ko po ng type. sa repeat sentence nasasabaw po talaga ako.

@Admin hirap din po ako sa acronyms lalo pag mahaba yung sentences or may isang word na di ako naintindihan, nadidistract ako tapos nabura na yung laman ng utak ko bigla

ok po sana yung acronyms pag maiigsing sentences, pwede ipractice ng ipractice, pag mahaba, nganga ako eh ang nangyayari, nakakalimutan ko ibang words, nagsusuffer yung oral fluency ko kasi parang di tama yung flow ng sentence.

sa ngayon po wala pa akong effective at consistent na way para mamaster sya. pero ang natry ko na pong mga techniques
1. acronyms
2. shorten words para di makalimutan masyado unlike acronyms
3. divide the sentence sa half, yung parang first fews words isusulat, yung second pakikinggan nalang
4. yung nakapikit, yung ipipicture out yung words sa isip para masapuso, magiisip ng mga dragong sumasayaw charot.
5. makikinig lang na focus.

so far yan po baka po maging effective sainyo po pero sakin di po kasi consistent.

@renly2328 sa repeat sentence fina follow ko ngayon ung E2language. ung tip nila is dont memorise per words. dapat by phrase daw. so far wala pa kong ibang nkitang teknik na pwde ko adopt. same ung tip ng E2 for repeat sentence at write from dictation.

Importante daw nakikinig ka everyday , para ma capture mo ung mga words. 1st time ko mag listen sa mga sample d ko talga magets like

Not sure kung napanuod mo na to @renly2328 . same teknik ang write from diction with repeat sentence sabi sa e2. if d pa try mo nam namin. may point cya so far eto ginagamit ko. chopping ng phrases. binibilang sa daliri ko parang syllables ung mga phrases.

Yes yan nga po. Pero in actual exam, dapat makuha mo yung important phrases/ sentences from the text tapos icombine mo sya using that technique. Hindi na ko nagpparaphrase sa SWT.
