Hello everyone. May idea ba kayo sa approval ng SV kung ang current employer ko ngaun dito sa Singapore ay mag bibigay saken ng letter of assurance na makakabalik ako sa company with a higher position after ng studies (MBA+MPH) ko sa Au? Mas malaki po kaya chance sa approval?
Thank you in advance.

I just received my granted Student Visa yesterday! I'm so happy 🙂 I'll share some infos and the timeline of my application po.
Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Education; 3 years ESL experience; 1.5 years BPO; Freelancer (ESL job atm); Solo/No Dependent; Held TV in AU last year
Course: Cert III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Intake: January 2020
Place of study: Sydney
TIMELINE
06-2019 - Started looking for an agency who can assist me with my SV application.
06-25 - Decided to go with KOKOS International. My agent explained to me the process of SV application, emailed me the suggested schools for my preferred course and intake and the documents needed to submit to start my application.
07-05 - Submitted the documents required to my agent. Chose Kirana Colleges out of the 3 options provided because they don't require show money and IELTS.
07-11 - Received my Letter of Offer from KCA.
08-13 - Sent my renewed passport info to my agent. (Agent suggested it since my old passport was expiring next year)
08-20 - Paid my tuition fee (thru BPI wire transfer) and OSHC - AHM (thru cc).
08-27 - Received my COE. / Filled out “My Health Declarations” form on my Immi Account to obtain a referral letter.
09-09 - Medical test at St. Lukes BGC
Had to pause working on my SV because I went out of the country
09-23 - Medical test part 2 (urine test and MMR vaccine)
09-25 - Submitted the documents needed to lodge my SV application to my agent.
09-30 - Lodged my SV application.
10-29 - (around 3pm or 4pm maybe) Received my Granted Student Visa 😀
EXPENSES
Tuition Fee - 110,000 PHP (2,950 AUD) (1st term only / includes BPI charges)
OSHC - 37,000 PHP (January 2020 - March 2022)
Medical - 11,226 PHP (includes HIV + Hepa B&C tests - agent required me because I’ll do it eventually in AU daw once mag work placement na and mas mahal dun)
MMR Vaccine - 2,420 PHP
Visa Fee - 22,458 PHP (628.18 AUD)
Plane Ticket **- 3,000 PHP (Piso Sale ni Cebu Pac months ago pa; one way)
**TOTAL - 186,104 PHP
Originally po TV pa rin application ko but I decided to just push with SV instead. RT ticket ko was worth 6,000 PHP 🙂
I didn’t submit any proof of financial capacity when I lodged my visa. Trust lang talaga sa agent ko since he’s also confident that I will get my visa approved without having to show so. Pero minention ko pa rin sa GTE ko that my dad will sponsor my studies para safe 🙂
If you need assistance sa Student Visa nyo, I suggest contacting KOKOS International. FREE OF SERVICE sila and you don’t have to pay any Professional Fee unlike others. Perfect 5 until now yung reviews nila sa FB page nila and totoong super professional sila and responsive. Hindi ka nila pababayaan and will make sure na maapprove ang visa mo, hands on talaga. Super honest din sila if you will have high or low chances of getting approved visa (depending on the course you intend to take). You can contact my agent din, Sir AJ ([email protected]). He really made sure everything is good before lodging my visa and super knowledgeable sya sa process ng application, naeexplain nya talaga ng maayos yung mga areas na confused ako. I’m super happy na sya naging agent ko
Hopefully po nakatulong ako. God bless and claim po natin na approve ang visa natin 🙂

depende po sa course na itatake nyo and sa work experience and highest qualification that you currently have. Kapag hindi po kasi related yung course na gusto nyo itake and sa background nyo, mahihirapan po kayo ijustify sa GTE.

When is the expected start of study? If around June/July, you can start application now or early January to allow enough time for processing (to account for delays or request for additional info). There's no particular timetable (afaik), but check DHA's website for the processing time for student visa and use that as a guideline.

Hi. Maybe you could answer my question. BS nursing graduate ako sa pinas pero hindi registered and no experience. If I will study nursing in AU 3yrs padin ba ang ibibigay saken or is there any way na macredit yung sa pinas para mga 2yrs nlang kukunin ko sa AU. 😬

Have you applied to the nursing program in Australia? If not, then do so first (or just email the university to inquire if they do RPL/recognition of prior learning). Depending on the Aussie curriculum and university policy on RPL, the university may opt to credit equivalent or similar subjects from your previous nursing degree, but that's not a guarantee. It costs nothing to inquire with the university, so try to do that first. This might require you to gather documents from your previous university, like the individual course syllabus, not just the transcript.
Also, consider exactly why you're opting to study another bachelor's degree in Australia when you already have a nursing degree, as you'll have to answer this in your GTE for student visa application. I understand why you prefer a shorter timeframe for studies due to cost, but you kinda need to justify din both to the university and DHA that you just want to learn useful subjects that were not part of your previous degree.

@athelene thank you so much for the information. One more question, my friend advised me to have my documents from school (TOR with syllabus and diploma) assess by AHPRA to check my eligibility for nursing program like IRON program. Do you have any idea about this? ‘Coz as far as i know this is only applicable for registered nurses with experience.

I don't know anything about this, maybe you can look into the thread for AHPRA for guidance.

Hello, for now I plan to take Graduate Visa after finishing my studies. For PR pathway, I don't think my course is a pathway for PR. So I'm hopeful na maabsorb ng company kung saan ako magwwork soon.
