1. How did you transfer BDO savings account fund to your Australian Bank?
2. Has anyone tried opening ANZ bank dito sa pinas? Are the process of opening and activating the accounts the same?

Pwede ka magopen ng bank account online and will be activated pagdating mo dito :^)

Wag niyo din po ma'am irisk na tourist visa tapos sweswelduhan niyo. Medyo risky baka pati visa niyo eh madamay. Lalo na pag may ibang tao na maka alam eh masumbong kayo.

Kelan lang eh may na report na pinoy na may trabahador sa restaurant nila na naka tourist visa.

Konting cash pang dala ko nun hehe.. dineposit ko pagdating.. pwede ka transferwise or thru bank mo.. may swift code siguro na gagamitin..

Re: Singapore Airlines, to avail the additional baggage allowance, kailangan sa website or ticketing office din bilhin yung plane ticket.

regarding finding rent po, it would be good kung you can check na po yung suburb in advance kung saan kayo mag-stay then check websites po like realestate.com.au and domain.com.au to find out kung merong mga suitable places where you can rent and makita nyo na din po yung trend kung magkano ang bayad nila for the space, here where I am located, nakuha kong place is $300 per week, 2 bed room sya with a car park kahit wala pa kame park.... very spacious yung mga places for rent nila, as in house na talaga sya...

it will be good kung meron kayong referral letter from your boss/company, pwede na din po siguro sa previous landlords nyo when applying... just pray and know that all will go well on your BM...

Hello po. Will BM 1st quarter of 2020 ☺️. Is it wiser to buy AUD na at this time? Or mataas pa exchange rate? Also, if you can suggest other money exchange. Last time kasi we bought AUD in Sanry's when we lodged our visa kc it's cheaper than others we've canvassed. Thank you!

@jennahvelasquez ako naman for safety reasons and lalo na kung malaking pera papapalit ko, sa BDO Bank ako bumibili dahil may account ako doon and para direct debit nalang nila sa account ko yung peso equivalent na bibilhin ko na AUD or kung ano man currency bibilhin ko. Na-hahassle ako magcompare ng money changer, pumila and natatakot ako baka gulangan ako ng cahera. Competitive naman din ang rate ni BDO

First step is call or visit your branch to reserve an AUD, tapos tatawagan kanalang nila pag ready na for pick up after 1-2 days. Then they will ask you to submit photocopy of your passport and planetickets. They will ask you to fill up cash withdrawal form para immiminus nalang nila sa account mo.

Based on experience okay din naman gamitin yung BDO Debit card tapos swipe nalang sa Australia, competitive yung rate and wala na transaction fees compared to if gagamit ka ng credit card.

I am going there first until I find a job, so how much money should I bring?
During your initial entry in Australia, what did you bring? or what's requried by the immigration?
My wife is a cabin crew here in emirates, will the IED (first entry) count if she flies there as a cabin crew?
What are the must-haves when we move there? Honestly, I don't really know where to start.

I'll try to answer based on my experience, sana makatulong

It depends. Depends on where you are staying. Kung mag rerent at least bring funds pang rent ng ilang months para safe. Kung makakapag luto mas tipid pero kung kakain sa labas parati baka $10-15 ang gastos depende kung saan ka kakain. Then mga pamasahe mo papunta sa mga interviews etc.
- Passport
- if coming from PH, CFO sticker
- printed copy of visa
- pulvoron from goldilocks (joke lang pang pasalubong lang if may sasalubong. lol)
Not sure about this. Pde ka siguro mag email sa immigration.
- Funds
- Mga documents niyo like, diploma, birth certs, ID
- Bili agad ng sim card para matawagan ng mga recruiters agad
- Mag asikaso agad ng isang government ID para may valid id agad na magagamit

Makisali po dito regarding po sa pag transfer ng funds, need info po. BM po kami sa mid 2020, targeting southeastern suburbs of Mlebourne. Yun pong pag transfer through bank dito sa Philippines, how much po approximately ang fees, assuming nakapag open na ng account sa isang bangko sa Australia. Salamat po.

Ah, pag galing ka kasi ng pinas bago ka umalis need mo umattend ng seminar sa Commission on Filipinos Overseas. dun ka bibigyan ng sticker na ilalagay sa passport po. hahanapin yun ng immigration dito sa pinas bago ka makalabas. pero since nasa dubai kayo hindi niyo na siguro kelangan.

Hindi po ba kayo kumuha noon nung bago kayo nag dubai?
