Hi Everyone! Happy New Year. I'm a newbie here in this forum and I need your comments po re: my PTE score. I took my exam yesterday and got the results this morning.

I'm not sure if I should be happy about it coz I don't know if passed ako or failed. Based on my readings dito sa forum, nakikita ko is 79. In my case, 78 ang overall score and my scores sa communicative and enabling skills are more than 65 naman except written discourse. Ok na po ba un? It's my first time to take the exam and ayoko na mag retake sana.

Hoping for your feedback po. TIA!

congrats! if you are not targeting superior grade (all bands 79+) then pasado ka na po for proficient score (65 on each band S-W-R-L). No need to worry on your Enabling skills in this case.

Happy New Year po sa inyo lahat.

Sa lahat ng mag tatake, goodluck po sa inyong lahat. Kayang kaya nyo isuperior yan. Attached file is snapshot nang score ko sa baba from 1st take (hindi ko pa alam yung mga tips dito hehe) to Superior (nung nag basa basa nako dito hehe ). Sana maging insipirasyon sa iba na napanghihinaan na nang loob.

Hi All! Happy New Year! Silent reader here. Already took the exam twice and mas lalo pang bumaba ung scores ko. Nagtake ako last October. Need to get superior scores. Been using the templates from this forum, pero everytime bubuksan ko ung scores ko nakakadepress and very frustrating. Planning to retake the exam this february. Ano pa kaya ang dapat i-improve? Salamat po! 😊

@Starfire based sa score mo. Masyadong mababa pronunciation mo. Either mahina boses mo or may problem mic mo. Make sure to test it and check if malinaw and consider the background noise din since sabay sabay yan, kaya you need to speak louder.

hey, pinaplano mo bang mag-retake ng PTE exam? pagbutihin ang iyong puntos sa lahat ng seksyon i-checkout lamang ang link https://www.ptegurus.com/blog/ na ito at basahin nang mabuti ang lahat ng mga tip at trciks at makuha ang iyong iskor sa pagnanais.

Hi Guys, just want to share my personal tips on future test takers... Thanks sa mga tumulong and sa mga nag bigay ng tips dito sa forum.

Very important items:
Speaking - speak clearly and loud enough. use templates sa RL and DI para fluent.
Reading - Make sure to ace your FIB. During exam, sablay ako sa RO pero nahatak siguro nung FIB.
Writing & Listening - Make sure to ace your FIB and WFD- wag magtype kagad. Make sure to repeat the sentence in your mind 3 times before you write down the sentence. Nagfocus ako sa time management during Listening part. I had 10 minutes left on the clock for WFD and to be honest, di ako sigurado sa mga answers ko sa mga Multiple choice, highlight correct summary.

Ask ko lang po if may beep po ba madidinig before magspeak sa repeat sentence and answer short question? Or pwede na magsalita po right after ng audio?

Wala pong beep na madidinig after ng audio. Make sure po na bago kayo mag salita naka start na yung recording, medyo may delay po kasi bago mag start yung recording after ng audio. So ang tendency baka nag start na kayo bago pa mag start yung recording and ang mangyari hindi ma capture ng AI yung unang mga works na masasabi nyo.

Salamat Sir @Heprex . Aminado ako na mahina nga boses ko at high pitch. And isa pa pala, nag-experiment din ako na hintayin yung blue bar sa record status feeling ko isa din yun sa mga humila pababa sa score ko lalo na sa RS. Nung first take ko, right after nung sentence nagsalita kaagad ako since walang beep na maririnig, kaya mas mataas OF ko compared nitong huli.

Anyway, more practice, practice and practice! God Bless us.
