    Hi everyone,

What if po magchange ako ng company but basically same role/responsibilities (ex. Moving from Company A to Company B as Demand Planner) lang naman. How will it affect the documentation ng lodgement if invited na to lodge?

Do I need to be re-assessed by EA or simply update my EOI and know na magchange yung DOE nun?

    TIA!

November 2019: EA Assessment - Positive
    November 2019: Submitted EOI [189 - 80 pts | 190 (NSW) - 85 pts]

To make it simple, if you want you claim points for the new job, then you will need re-assessment. If you’re not claiming points then no need for reassessment. As what @lecia mentioned, just make sure you put an end date on the previous employment otherwise, your risk over claiming points.

    Hello everyone,

I'm planning to submit my EOI this month, however, yung validity ng skill assessment ko is until Aug-2020 lang. I'm still working for the same company and the same role. Do I have to get a new assessment from ACS, just in case makakuha ako ng invite after Aug-2020, may "valid" ako na document?

If skill assessment outcome is still valid at the time of invite, no need.

Hi @lecia Currently waiting for ITA pa. So medyo napaisip ako if it's worth it to change companies pa if may negative impact sa EOI or sa skills assessment ng EA. :)

Hi guys, I'm single, but planning to include my de facto partner as dependent. This reduced my points from 85 to 75. After reading into state sponsorship, I feel I may have a better chance of getting invited if ako lang muna, walang dependent.

Question is, how difficult is it to invite her after I'm settled there in Oz? So far I only know of partner visa as an option but that can take years daw. She is a registered nurse btw.

Matagal ang mabusisi ang partner visa. You will have to weigh the consequences, of course, depending on your present and future circumstances.
AHPRA registration needs to undergo either OBA or Nursing Conversion course as pre-requisite.

Note that to meet the de facto category, cohabitation for minimum 12 months is required. Otherwise, you will have to apply as single.

Yes po, already talked to my migration agent and we have a good case to be approved as de facto.

My plan A right now is to take a 2 year Master's course and take her as dependent tapos siya magwo-work. I was hoping to find an alternative to studying as I want to work full-time as well, medyo magastos rin tapos 2 years pa.

Hi. It’s ok to change company. It will not affect DOE nor claiming of points. Make sure lang to put an “end date “ sa last company mo. Iilang months lang naman ang difference diba? Magbabago lng ang DOE pag nagchange ng point scores like age, language, partner points.

To make it simple, if you want you claim points for the new job, then you will need re-assessment. If you’re not claiming points then no need for reassessment. As what @lecia mentioned, just make sure you put an end date on the previous employment otherwise, your risk over claiming points.

Hi! Almost same case here. I had my skills assessment last year but I just did the assessment regarding my occupation. I have not done the additional assessment regarding length of work experience (RSEA ata 'yun) since may nag-advise sakin na pwede ko naman gawin 'yun kapag nakakuha na ako ng ITA.

But anyway, I was within the range of 5 to 8 years of work experience. Then before turning 8 years, I transferred to a different company (last month). I updated my EOI and put an end date to my previous company and added my new company. Then this Febuary, I turned to 8 years na and my points automatically increased by 5 points for the work experience part.

Wala bang magiging complications afterwards? Though 'yun nga, di pa naman kasi ako nakapag-assess ng length of work experience ko nung skills assessment. Thank you po sa makakasagot :)

You have to get re-assessed. It's better to be on the safe side. No one really can tell, not even here in the forum, kung okay lang hayaan yung EOI, kasi technically your new job is not included in your last assessment. Just my 2 cents. Ganyan gagawin ko if I were in your position.

    TIA!

Hi. It’s ok to change company. It will not affect DOE nor claiming of points. Make sure lang to put an “end date “ sa last company mo. Iilang months lang naman ang difference diba? Magbabago lng ang DOE pag nagchange ng point scores like age, language, partner points.

No need to re assess. Anung stage ka na ng application?

To make it simple, if you want you claim points for the new job, then you will need re-assessment. If you’re not claiming points then no need for reassessment. As what @lecia mentioned, just make sure you put an end date on the previous employment otherwise, your risk over claiming points.

Hi! Just to clarify, 4 years yung recognized sakin ng EA under my Demand Planning role (Nov 2015 to Nov 2019). So by Nov 2020, I'll be 5 years na rin which will change the points right? Kasi 5 years or more will be 10 points from overseas years experience na. (I'm 80 points currently).

So pag nagchange ako ng company now (Feb 2020), by Nov 2020, will I still be able to claim the additional 5 points from the overseas years of experience? Or you're saying na I need to be reassessed (since new company na) to remove the risk of over claiming of points?

I hope I made my self clear dun sa explanations hehe :)

Then you'd have to get re-assessed... ;)

Got it! Clear. Thank you very much! :)

Please don’t rely on the accuracy of what other people advice you unless they are professionals in the migration field. like what they mentioned about what youcan doafter ITA. I can’t claim anything after you’ve been given ITA

    Hello,

I am already onshore under TSS visa and I have already lodged my 190 visa application.
I am in a situation na need ko po mag transfer ng apartment kasi yung current apartment is for sale sabi ng real estate agent and have to move out. So in this instance po ba, kelangan ko ba i.inform ang DHA about my change of address? If I do, do you mind sharing kung paano?

Also, do I need to submit updated form 80?

    Thank you po :)

You will need to provide supporting documents either way. All the more you, will need to make sure your claim of work experience is correct should you decide to not get your work experience officially assessed. If I were you, given your DIY, I would just go for assessment for peace of mind. You spent money already so you might as well spend a bit more to make sure of your points accuracy. Be mindful that over claiming if points may result to visa application being rejected

    Hello mga kapatid!

Tanong lang po para sa scenario na to for example

    • may Assessment na ako with Passport #1 and Address #1
    • then nagrenew into Passport #2 at lumipat sa Address #2
