SkillSelect and ImmiAccount

JDC123JDC123 PhilippinesPosts: 32Member

Hello everyone.
May question lang ako about SkillSelect and ImmiAccount. Since I worked in Australia and held a temporary visa, meron na akong ImmiAccount. Now, I will be creating a SkillSelect account and will be using my personal email address.

My question is, mali-link ba yung SkillSelect sa ImmiAccount ko if in case I'll get a chance to apply for a visa (190/491)? If yes, do you think I should create a new ImmiAccount using my personal email ad or update na lang yung existing?

Not sure kung tama ang understanding ko sa process so please shed me some light.

TIA

Immi account and Skill Select accounts are 2 separate systems and are never linked. That is why it is possible to create many EOIs in Skill Select using different emails which for some gives them more opportunities to be invited because some States are quite strict in their invitation. A single choice for them shows more intent on being invited.

Thanks @cucci. Which one do you think is better if let's say my occupation is open in 3 states? Different email ad per EOI or one email ad for 3 EOI?

    TIA

@JDC123 Haven't tried but read somewhere that you can use the same email for different EOIs... you can also use different email for each EOI... no idea which is better or has better chances.

In my case i made 3 different EOI’s 489, 189, 190 last 2019. You can use same email add in different EOI’s .I received ITA for 189 and NSW 190 both from the same email address i provided.

Also, sa current situation ba, better pa rin to create separate EOIs for, say, 190 and 491?

Not sure if it's better to have separate eoi's. Pero check mo sa website ng every state if they want na yung EOI mo is priority sila.

I would suggest that you create your immi account already. Some visa applications can be created way ahead of time so you can already check for the required documents. In some you can even attach the docs already so that you just add docs as they come. At least this is what I did and in a way by the time you are ready to lodge the application, you have checked all data entered a number of times, you are sure of the docs you uploaded and not stressed out looking for docs to upload when actual application comes.

Yun nga lang some visa applications would not allow you to proceed pag wala pang prerequisite like TRN for employee sponsored, etc.

Just curious to know what “some visa applications” would you be referring to?

The trouble with doing this way too ahead is you can’t delete the documents you have uploaded in case you need to correct them.

Oh ok, I thought you were referring to GSM visas. Visitor visa is somehow off topic na.

Anyway, as mentioned above, the trouble with uploading docs too early is one can’t delete the actual doc in case it needs to be corrected or updated. The amended document will then have to be uploaded separately and this could potentially make the supporting documents too messy and could confuse the case officer. I would advice to just collate all documents and create the immiaccount when it’s time to do so.

    All the best.

Good day po to all. Nag request po ako sa agent ko na kung pwede na po ba ako mag EOI, kaso more than a week na hindi pa rin nila ginagawa.

Ang tanong ko po is pwede po ba akong gumawa ng sarili ko while gagawa din po sila?

Sabi din po ng Agent sa akin is pwedeng isang account nalang daw for 189/190/491.

If I was your agent and I find out you’ve lodged your own EOI, it would breach our contract and I can terminate our services. That’s part of the terms in our contract - for clients not to go directly without my consent as it will likely make the whole process complicated. It’s like getting a doctor to treat your condition but instead of taking the medication prescribed to you, you went on and took a different medication. Hence if your condition worsens, that doctor would rather cease to take your case as he wouldn’t want to be burden with the issues brought about by your actions.

Thank you po sa advice ninyo Maam @RheaMARN1171933 and for enlighten me about my query. Actually, I fully trusted my agent and he is very helpful to me. Last night he drafted the EOI already, hindi kaya nagbabasa din siya dito.? Hehehehe.

By the way ma'am, ok lang po ba na i select po yung ANY sa State/Territory? Or kailangan pong gumawa ng separate account for each state/territory?

    Maraming salamat po!
