@mayz0519 God bless on your second attempt! I also got the desired score on my 2nd attempt. Focus on your weakness. I reviewed talaga the writing part. Thankfully from 6.5 na improve ko to 7.5.

    Update lang...
So Cert III ang equivalent qualification ko according kay ACECQA (NSW).
Eto po minimum requirement para makapag work as an educator.
Para ma upgrade to Diploma, I decided to study sa TAFE Digital (online lang para full time pa rin sa work).
    Courses start on May 1.
But I will be applying for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) baka sakali mabawasan ang units and time na need to take.

Hi! Magbabakasali lang po ako na may makapagbigay ng insight sa plan ko for now. If anyone’s kind enough to give advice 😁

I’m here at Sydney under visa 482. Secondary applicant po ako sa partner ko na sponsored ng company nila. We’re also hoping na by 2020 invited na kami for visa 189 kasi matagal na po kami naglodge and currently sitting on 85pts. I finished BS Agriculture sa PH, work experience ko is sa sa government as Agriculturist.

I am planning to enroll in Diploma on ECEd sa TAFE once permanent resident na kami para subsidized ang tuition.

Question ko po is feasible po kaya to?

    Thank you sa mga sasagot!

Hi all! Currently applying for my AITSL certification and I was wondering how I could explain to AITSL that DLSU is a trimestral university but is also considered a class 1 university to the Australian standards. I'm not quite sure what to put on my application as my Bachelors of Elementary Education: Major in Early Childhood Education was a 3 year course which I completed in 3 years and 2 terms.

It is stated on the AITSL website:

"Completion of a minimum of four years full-time (or part-time equivalent) higher education (university)
level study that results in qualification/s. This must include a relevant initial teacher education
qualification and can include other qualifications."

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

Hi... I’d like to get an advice from anybody here knowledgeable about my concern.

My bachelor’s degree is Secondary Education major in English but majority of my experience is in Preschool in the Philippines. I took a short course here to be qualified tho. However, I believe it won’t be accredited as it doesn’t have units. Now I am planning to take a diploma in ECEC in one of the vocational colleges in Australia (AIWT to be specific) that offers online set up. It claims to be nationally recognised in Australia but I’m reluctant whether AITSL would acknowledge such. What do you think?

And by the way, we are applying for subclass 189/190. My husband’s the primary applicant, I’m just dependant.

My only concern is whether I can teach, ifGod-willing we are invited, by possessing a degree in education, 7years Preschool experience, and a diploma in Early Childhood and Care (with units).

Would I still undergo AITSL upon job application even if I’m a dependent?

If I’d rather be a primary applicant, would AITSL accredit my qualifications?

    Thank you so much!!!

Anyone here applied and received positive Assessment from AITSL? How long did you have to wait? If you submitted EOI for Visa 189, how many points did you apply with, and lastly, how long did you wait before receiving ITA? Thanks!

If im not mistaken, AITSL is solely for migration purposes but they won't assess whether your qualifation is Bachelor (level 7), Dip (level 5) or Cert III(Level 3)equivalent in AU.

However, I also took Ba. Ed in PH (4 years), and ACECQA recognised my qualification as "Early Childhood teacher" Equivalent (which is Bachelor's degree Level 7)

Many say it depends on where you studied your degree (there is a forum based on school classification) like section 1, 2 or 3. Section 1 is considered bachelors, 2 is diploma and 3 is certificate. But if you studied 4 years, that shouldn't be a problem if you have your TOR and practicum certificate :)
