PAL just cancelled today our flight to Melbourne on July 14. The earliest flight for booking now is for August 1. For info.

Commercial flight ba ito or repat flight thanks for info. Any update po ?

Hi @nhodzkie Commercial flight. Too early for us yung repat, besides Melbourne talaga destination namin.

Masyado na late for us ang August kase on trimester na wife by then. So far, monitor na lang kami for opening of SG for transit to AU. Yung HK option naman, >8 hours transit time ng Cathay Pacific so breach sa transit requirements nila. Awaiting response of Cathay Pacific to my query.

Bro, if I'm not mistaken, nag update na si HK ngayon lang ng transit requirement nila from 8 hours to 24 hours.

If that's the case, pwedeng Cathay. You can check kung parehas tayo ng understanding.

Yes madaming schedule si Cathay price varies. I am eyeing on July. My first entry ko before August 11..so before that need to BM na.

Sa mga families po na nag-BM or magBM, paano po kayo kumuha ng flat/house rentals?

Nagcheck kami sa pinoy groups ng state namin. Nakswerte naman at nakahanap kami ng granny flat

Hello Mam @DonnaMay good day po, pwede po mag ask, required po ba ang work to find accommodation or house na pwedeng i rent or proof of funds ok na po ba? Kindly share po your experience. Salamat.

Based sa experience namin wala naman kasi pinoy din mayari ng house. Nagbayad lang kami advance and deposit. Risk din un syempre kasi db marami rin scammer dyan heheh kaya ingat din pero swerte naman at legit ung samin plus mabait pa sila.

If wala kayo mahanap na ganon try airbnb. Dito kasi sa canberra medyo pricey airbnb.

Nagapply ako last year for TFN while nasa bahay, na receive ko yung number through post. No need to show up sa aussie post, in my experience.

Open ka lang online sis. Tas pagdating mo dun tsaka na yung 100%verification. Keep a copy of grant letter, boarding pass at ticket. Since wala ka pa other means of ID.

I suggest you also apply online for your child. During normal times, minors (and other exempted individuals) are registered online but not required to attend the session. Their passports are still required to be brought to CFO for its documentation and affixing of stickers.

In these special circumstances, it follows then that the authorities will look for same documentation.

I am responding with the assumption that this is about the CFO sticker and waived PDOS.

    Hope this helps.

Hi! Our BM was supposed to be last June 5 but our PAL flight was cancelled. Now we are looking into August or September. Naparefund kami ng tickets kasi may nabasa ako somewhere na hindi pala pwede gamitin yun for the repatriation flights. Gaano kaaga nag aannounce ang PAL ng repatriation flights for PRs? Meron pa rin kayang repatriation flights by Aug/Sep? Mas mahal ba ang tickets? We are a family of 4 and nasa 74k yung naunang tickets namin inclusive of travel tax. Expect po ba kami na mas mahal na dyan ang airfare?

Ang hirap ng quarantine dito sa Pinas. Tumaas pa ang cases. Hindi pa tuloy makapagspend ng quality time sa family/relatives dito bago kami umalis :(

Hi. Ask ko lang po anyone knows kung required po ang OFCORS certificate for a 5 year old kid before we fly to Aussie from PH. We applied online but just for me and my wife. TIA

Thank you @zirko. It makes a lot of sense. I just had a confusion with the PDOS and CFO stickers that's why I did not register him . I tried to register my son last night but they changed the process that instead of being able to generate a printable certificate, they are now sending actual stickers to your address. Our flight is on June 26 and we might not be able to get the sticker for him. I can't get in contact with CFO on their different channels. :(

Hoping na magiging ok pa ang hotel accommodations nila by July. @ga2au end of July sis. Within that week ako book ng flight kasi di naman nataas ang price, ayaw ko masayang ang ticket. Kayo ba?
