actually, plan din namin NZ nung nagbakasyon kami sa Auckland last November nagustuhan ko din kaso sa Skilled Migration nila Job offer letter is 50pts (need a minimum 160pts para mainvite), which is ang hirap kapag overseas mag apply. currently we are at 145 pts excluding job offer letter.

Anymore Engineers aldy in AUS? Mas ok sa akin ung mag kkwento ng "OK nandito na kami sa AUS pero hindi ko pala ini-expect ng ganito" ung mga stories na "what people didn't know about moving in Australia?" Kasi ok ung life ko (financially and healthy pero emotionally unstable) so mag sstruggle na naman ako lalo na sa first stages.

ang current work mo is structural engineer, pero ang education mo is ECE? Tama ba?

one option can be student visa pathway, if financially you can support yourself, then go with 189 190 or 491.

maybe, you can also see an agent to have a better understanding aling pathway ang pinaka swak sa circumstances mo.. all the best to you

Hi, Good Day!

any advise po? Salamat po ng marami!

    ano bang nominated occupation mo?'

i think PRC license is not required

    TIA.

sa unawa ko sa EA assessment, for you to claim points for bachelors degree or Masters, it needs to be a RECOGNIZED STANDARD.. so need ng EA assessment to be a recognized standard ang BS mo or Masters mo,

will EA be able to asssess your Masters if hndi sya engineering? parang hindi ata.. only my opinion..

    Hello everyone,

1.Your career episodes lack demonstration of your competency as a professional engineer. It is not enough to state what you did but you need to demonstrate how you used your engineering knowledge and skills to do the tasks as a Mechanical Engineer.
    2.Please, re-write and re-submit all 3 career episodes.
3.Please, refer to pages 31-36 of MSA Booklet to make sure that your updated episode properly addresses each competency element.
4.Focus on how you used your engineering skills and knowledge to plan, design, organise and oversee the assembly, erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of mechanical and process plant and installations.
    5. Update the Summary Statement
6.Note that if your updated career episode is not sufficiently improved you may not receive a positive outcome of your assessment.

I am willing to pay po. or kung meron kayong kakilala please lemme know po. Thank you.

Be mindful of plagiarism. I wouldn’t recommend to get someone to do your career episode.

PRC only when applicable but not a must. Basically, the qualification must be equivalent to an AQF bachelors degree. EA will refer to the CEP from the department of education and training to check this. If the institution where the qualification was obtained from is listed under section 1 then it meets the recognised standards. If it’s under section 2 then the PRC is needed to meet the recognised standards. Hope that helps.

Yung husband ko po graduate ng Bachelor of Technology Major in Mech Eng'g from section 1 univ, may approved EA assessment for Mechanical Engineer. So sabi namin we're okay with it, kasi wala talaga. So pag isipan po mabuti if you are working for points.

Hi Ms. Rhea, thank you for this clarification. Would like to clarify further: isn't the license required for engineering professions that can be licensed in the Philippines? From what you mentioned, the license helps for those with qualifications under section 2 to be upgraded to section 1. But as what @jakibantiles mentioned, I think if you're claiming points for engineering experience in the Philippines for a profession that can be licensed, I think the license is required to submit to EA also since it is required by Philippine law to have it in order to practice your profession. Thus, it is possible that EA will not count your engineering experience in the Philippines if you do not have a valid license because it can be deemed illegal.

Just my thought though. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you!

PRC (may be) a requirement to recognize the experience but not the requirement to recognize the school as AQF bachelors equivalent. I think the confusion is there. If I'm not mistaken, may separate service kasi ang EA for each for some circumstances.

But I have to comment with regard to your assertion that it is illegal to "practice" without a licence. Could only be true if you're self employed practicing engineer but if you work for a company, it is not illegal to be employed as a non-licensed engineer to do the works for your company unless you sign engineering documents. Because if that's the case, no engineer from the PH can be employed in SG and Dubai for example without taking licensing exams in those countries, if you follow that licensing logic. Technically this should still be assessed as engineering experience though.

Yes. Started my career as an Autocad draftsman sabi kasi sa job description nun Engineering Degree lang kailangan. From there started my way up to drawings to calcs to site works and project management. #ARUP

Thanks lahat sa Dubai which catapult my engineering career.

Kita kits magppost ako ng Pic dito upon arrival in AUS.

Thank you!

Definitely not a requirement. The PRC only helps when institution is under section 2 as far as skills assessment and migration is concerned. We’ve handled x amount of clients without a licence. Not all engineers are required to have licence. You can still claim work experience without licence as long as your institution is under section 1.

Hello @MumVeng yes I did.,nakita ko un pero since nahanap ko na ung shortcut (dependent pass) I have this mindset na 'work smart'

Naimagine ko ung haba ng process sa pagapply including paghihintay tapos sa nagsabay sabay pa work plus personal life. Why work so hard when you already know the solution. Yes there are risks involve pero i decided the easiest way possible. Pero im always open to all options.

Hi bro! Musta? Halos same pala tayo ng timeline. Going on my 3rd year of waiting this September. Nagsubmit na ako ng request for duplicate letter kahapon sa EA since 3 years lang validity ng Skills Assessment on the face of DoHA.

Magrereview uli for PTE naman. Kayo po may invite na po kayo?

Gotcha. Ngayon waiting mode uli. But anyhow, if hindi will ni Lord, try namin sa Canada after marriage.

90 points in total for 189, 95 for 190 and 105 for 491. Praying pa rin kami ng gf ko. Hehehe

Konting antay na lang yan sir. Nasa minimum points na kayo for 189! PTE nyo sir 2022 pa expiration sa DoHA.

Thanks bro! Tama ba pagkaintindi ko, though 2 years ang validity ng PTE, pwede pa rin sa DoHA yun even after a year that it lapsed?

Yes sir.

Thanks bro!
