Hello! Naexperience ko din ito last night. Then i tried again this morning meron nang lumabas na online option for 24-Aug. I think hndi sya palaging available. Need to check some other time kung hndi matyempuhan.

Hindi pa dumarating yung results din ng akin.
Pero ang ginawa ko, nagsimula ako magbasa tungkol sa NAATI noong mid July:
nagbasa ako sa website nila, sa YT, at mostly dito sa forum na ito mula sa pinaka unang pahina. Kumpleto na ‘yung tips at suggestions magbasa ka lang sa forum na ito

‘Yung sakin, target ko non one month prep pero dahil pabago bago yung schedule online, napabook ako ng mas maaga at nagkaroon ng two weeks prep..
nag enroll ako sa 10day crash course kasi based sa PTE experience ko mabilis ako magpanic at mental block so kulang ako sa confidence usually.

So nag enrol ako para marami akong practice tests at nakuha ko yung confidence sa exam day.

Para sakin, depende yung study hours sa tao.
1. Tagalog ako makipag usap sa lahat ng mga nakakausap ko noon
2. Nakikinig din ako ng radyo para mas maging natural at komportable sa pananalita
2. Binasa ko ‘yung usual vocabularies daw sa NAATI sa YT na sakop ng exam, eg Health Legal Education
3. Pinraktis ko rin ilang beses yung Filipino Review Materials sa NAATI website
4. Gumawa ako ng strategy sa note taking, shortcuts ng good morning, hello, how can i help you, mga ganiyan.
5. Practice active listening, kasi kailangan makuha mo yung content ng conversation and not to translate word per word.

May iba mas maikli nag review at positive results check mo yung previous comments. Sa akin two weeks at sana makuha ko na results this coming week.. heheh

Sa actual exam day, chineck talaga ng proctor yung buong kwarto, pinatago Pa sakin yung tablet and speakers bukod sa phone. 😅

Nag prepare lang ako ng lucky pink shirt, pen and paper, passport, and mobile earphones non. I checked my mic sa MS Teams days before the actual test to make sure na clear yung audio.

All the best!! I suggest mag backread kasi sobrang helpful ng tips ng previous passers!

Swerte pala talaga ko nung exam day ko, mabait yung invigilator then walang nang chineck sakin, habang nag uusap nga kame nag ring pa phone ko pero di nya pinansin hindi rin nya chineck yung room or any other devices, tinanong lang kung may papel at pen nako na naka ready then diretso kagad kame sa chichat hehe.

Hello! Just finished my exam. Sobrang bilis lang pala talaga gaya nang sabi nila. Mine took 20mins.

Eto yung mga topics sakin:
1. A lady getting a blood test
2. A lady on humanitarian refugee visa seeking settlement assistance services from a social worker

Medyo kinabahan ako sa Dialogue 2 at aware akong may mga mali ako saka insertions huhu. Sana pumasa tayong lahat!

Maraming salamat sa mga nagpost ng tips nila. Sana pumasa tayong lahat! At congrats sa mga nakakuha na ng positive results!

Additional tips sa mga magtetake pa:
1. Magsulat ng reminder sa papel nyo. Like ung repeat/correct na option para maalala mo na pwede mo pala gamitin yon. Minsan kasi sobrang kabado kana tapos namali ka pa, nakalimutan mong may lifeline ka pa haha.
2. Wag masyado magfocus sa pagnonotes. Nakakawala ng focus kaya posibleng makalimutan mo na ung message sa segment.

Got my results today too!
Took the exam on 4 Aug and the results today, 19 Aug.
Two weeks + 1 day na paghihintay pero it’s worth it!
Sa mga waiting ng results, kaya nyo yan! Konting hintay lang, darating din yan!
Sa mga nakakuha na, update na tayo EOI!

Hello po. Hindi po ganun kahigpit ang scoring as long as natranslate mo ung thought ng dialogue. May part sa dialogue na mahaba pero you can use your 1 repeat power (per dialogue) for that part but you have to use it wisely.

Hi guys, if i want to use the 'repeat' option, i just need to tell them right after the segment diba? Kailangan ko pa ba antayin yung chime?

And for the 'retry' option naman, iinform ko yung invigilator while im doing my translation.

Yes po. You can just let them know that you want to repeat that segment again without having to wait for the chime.

Also, if you want to do a correction, make sure to say something such as "Sorry, i'll just repeat that part again" or anything similar to this.

Sobrang nakaka mental block. Kaya focus ka kung sa ka nag stuggle. Isang tip rin, before the video call, just try to calm your senses. Ako kasi lakad ako nang lakad bago yung test hahaha. Lakas maka panic.

Pero in all fairness to the invigilator, they will make sure you're ready and calm before starting the test. May kaunting kumustahan yan sa simula..

In terms of scoring, focus on the completeness of the thought, it's not necessary to translate word for word. Basta ma-convey mo lang yung meaning sa kabilang language. Tingin ko papasa naman.

Pero oo, matagal ko rin muna kausap yung invigilator kaya nabawasan pa kaba. Mga 5mins Hehe

Meron ka rin 2-3 secs at most para tapusin yung pag take notes after the chime. Then kung di ka sure sa notes mo, pwede ka na mag sabi na repeat.

2. Pano sabihin ang oras? Pwede ba sabihin ang ala una, als ocho etc? kahit spanish ang mga ito?
3. Dun po sa life line at sinabi na 'let me do that part again', ibig sabihin istart ulit na magtranslate ka sa umpisa ng segment or dun lang sa part na medyo nagkastruggle?

You have a REPEAT and SELF-CORRECTION lifelines po.

Yung chime po ay right after the segment so tama po si @mariamirene na hintaying nyo na lang matapos yung chime to ask for a repeat. You don't want to waste this lifeline because if you overuse it you may (1) incur too many deductions and (2) not finish the exam.

Yung self-correction naman po.. Just say "Correction", and then continue with your interpretation.

Hindi po sapat yung main thought lang ang ma-capture natin dahil may mga details po na mahalaga. For example, temporary visa ay iba sa permanent visa. If it doesn't change the meaning of the sentences ok lang po na hindi nyo na mabanggit. But if they are keywords, certainly they affect the accuracy of your interpretation.
Ok lang po ung spanish forms sa oras.
You can correct just a part of it or the whole segment po. Best Practice--- say, "CORRECTION" and give the interpretation of the whole segment.

Hello! Check ka lang sa site from time to time, kasi minsan nag oopen ng earlier dates.

Sa akin noon, target date ko yung one month prep pero biglang nawala ‘gang may lumabas na sched in two weeks, kinuha ko na agad.. kasi minsan kapag nagccheck ako sa site, in five months tsaka palang may available date tulad niyan ngayon.. check mo lang parati at make sure nag pprepare ka na rin for exam. all the best!
