It was supposed to be vacation lang sana, pero parang naging BM na rin. I got a job, worked for few months but I resigned and decided to leave Australia para tapusin yun contract ko sa previous/current work ko ngayon. As per travel permit, hindi na kailangan kasi I fall on "Persons ordinarily resident in a couintry other than Australia".

Hi! 489 din kami, BM sana last May kaso nagclose nga border. Pwede malaman saan ka nagemail and nagreply about the IED waiver? Kasi agency lang namin nagbigay samin nung form about waiver.

Hello po, 489 din kami, meron po ba dito na mag 2nd yr na rin sa kanilang visa by 2021? Husband ko po nauna na sa OZ. Do you think po ba magbibigay ng extension ang Australia sa ating visa considering na nde naman natin fault na nde pa tayo allowed to enter OZ border. I'm just getting worried kasi baka nde na namin ma fulfill ang requirement of 2 yrs stay pra sa 887. :-(

@ga2au Thanks for the reply po. But as a dependent to the 887 (in future), do we need to comply with the 2 yrs stay? If yes, Im just hoping/praying that they will consider extending visa validity to cope for the opportunity lost due to lockdown/restrictions.

It doesn't say about staying 2 years for the dependents though. But if dependents are also required to stay within 2 years and your outside due to covid I think you can be eligible for the concession.

Madali lang daw makakuha ng medicare ngayon online lang.
San ba kayo mag BM? May friends ba kayo dun? If meron baka pwede nyo mapakiusapan na ma pa sked kayo sa GP. Gp kasi mag rerefer sa inyo sa OB.
Nun time ko last year dumating ako 35w6d. (I dont recommend that sa panahon ngayon) pero pagdating ko, kinabukasan kumuha na ako ng medicare, 2 days after may appointment na ako sa GP kasi pina sked ako ng friend ko 2 weeks prior. Kasi nga wala na ako time kailangan ko na agad ng OB appointment. Nakita ako ng OB, 39w na. 40weeks 1 day nanganak ako. 😂

Nagmedical naba kayo or hindi pa. Kasi sa medical tatanungin kung pregnant kayo. No need to change unless maipanganak niyo siya at may birth certificate and passport na kayo

Actually hindi pa kami nagmedical hehehe. Nacurious lang ako what will happen if halimbawa nakapanganak na and wala pang co tapos hindi pa din nagmedical. Baka hindi makasama ang newborn sa application. Kasi diba sa medical lang may tanong if pregnant.

Hi! Hindi ako BM like you guys but I recently arrived here in Aus last Oct 9 (I'm on BVB), you can check Cathay Pacific again cause they're opening slots for their upcoming flights. I suggest do the MNL-HKG-SYD na flight cause they are flying 3x weekly here at Sydney. Recently, may mga nakabook ng economy na natuloy. I opted to upgrade in business class to secure my seat cause I need to get back to work asap.

But if you have extra money & need na magmove, email mo lang young Manila Cathay Pacific Sales Rep. I noticed that they cancel those ppl who booked online. Those who booked via phone/email get their seats secured. I got mine cancelled twice kasi on economy with Cathay Pacific.
