Intay natin sagot nung ibang kapatid natin na nagpa-assess na nagfollow up sa EA. Ako kasi on-going pa lang sir yung assessment.

Yung iba kasing mga idol dito sila yung kinontak ng EA for additional information and other requirements.

@joestrummer Sa wakas dumating na sa office ang receipt na mail from EA...Ang tagal pala, it took mga almost two months bago dumating ( ang date nakalagay sa receipt is Dec 17 2012). Anyways, thankful din ako at least i received it na. Waiting mode nanaman for the evaluation result...

@rylynn, Madali lang yung sa EOI idol. Take it slowly and surely. Ako tapos na dun pero di ko na nisasubmit at wala pa kasing Assessment. Well para pag dumating yung assessment (kung positive man) ayun edit na lang then pasa na. Hihi!

Hi guys, count me in sa mga nag iintay ng EA assesment! submitted my CDR (Telecommunications Engineer) last Dec. 7, 2012. Natanggap ko ung mail/acknowlegement last Jan 17,2013 pero ung nakalagay sa mismong receipt is december 14,2012 .. Good Luck sa atin!GOD bless everyone:)

Hi guys..ask lang po ng question..ngsubmit po ako ng CDR ko sa EA ngpadala din po ng confirmation na nareceive na nila kaso ung TRF ko kahapon lang sinend ng IDP pinadaan ko kasi dun sa pingreviewhan ko for ielts eh nung december pa ako ngrequest..sabi kanina nung sa review center every end of the month lang daw ngsesend idp ng additional TRF...di po ba magstart assessment if di pa narerecieve ng EA ung IELTS result?..thanks po..dapat pala ngsama din ako ng certified true copy nung IELTS ko dun sa CDR..haiisstt

@angelmar17 - unfortunately they will not proceed pag kulang ang docs mo..
tama, sana sinama nyo sa pagsubmit ng EA docs nyo kahit photocopy ng TRF, while waiting for the official TRF na isend from your IELTS testing center to EA..

anyway, goodluck po sa assessment..

Naku idol, tama si idol @lock_code2004. Hindi nga nila sisimulan hangga't wala pa yung trf niyo nung ietls. Pero confirm niyo idol kung totoong every month lang talaga sila nagsesend ng trf kasi sayang din panahon. If you can save at least 2 weeks kaysa mag-antay kayo di ba. Best of luck idol.

@joestrummer Idol, kumusta na ang wating mode?...sana wala nang aberya sa application natin para tuloy-tuloy na...My manager ask me last week if kumusta na daw application ko, sabi ko naman hintay lang sya baka EA will contact him.

@angelmar17, On my case hindi ko na sinama ang certified true copy nang TRF ko, naglagay lang ako nang note that my TRF will be sent thru post by my testing center (IDP)...buti nalang IDP gave me a tracking number of my TRF that was sent to EA, when i checked it, EA recieved it naman December 18 (my application/documents was received at EA December 17)...:-)

I am realy hoping na sana tuloy-tuloy na ang processing...crossing my fingers...:-)

Eto medyo nakakapraning mag-antay idol. Kayo ang mauuna idol kaya pagdumating yung inyo weeks na lang aantayin ko at ayun ang mas mahirap na pag-aantay yung malapit na. haha!

By the way ako din pala hindi na nagsama ng trf kasi nauna ko pina-arrange yung trf ko. Nauna ng more than 2 weeks yung trf ko dumating sa EA (Base sa tracking) kaya hindi na ako nagsama ng copy nung trf.

i read in a different forum that you need to have your work experience assessed by EA if you are to claim points for it. Is that true? i already submitted my CDR to EA last week.

@lock_code2004 pansin ko sa signature ay 1 month + lang tinagal ng assessment nyo from EA last year.. bilis ah..mostly nakita ko now 4 months ~15-16weeks.
baka sguro konti lang nag-papa-assess as IE.. or naka tsamba lang ako..
actually tumagal pa yan ng 2 weeks dahil nag require sila another copy ng diploma/tor ko..
so kung wala yun.. mga 1 month lang talga..

was the speed of your assessment different from the standard date that is sent when you email MSA status enquiry? did you have your result sent via ordinary post?

yes. its true, if you will not avail the assessment for work experience, DIAC's CO will have no clue on which/how many years of work experience is relevant to your nominated occupation. It's either
- they will ask you to avail for the assessment of work experience from EA again
- or, they will decide based on their own knowledge (so far i have not seen this specially after July 2012, when they implemented the change on the work exp assessment for all assessing authority)

No.3-b: Additional Assessment Services (Check appropriate box and fee payment on relevant application form)

•if you want to claim overseas PhD engineering degree, or
•for those who have at least 1 year Australian work experience, and / or at least 3 years Overseas work experience in their nominated occupation or a closely-related occupation, then an additional assessing service is available to provide an opinion on the skilled employment claims. High-level evidence will be required to support any claim of work experience as well as completion of this form. (200aud)

Hi! Sorry but I just started the assessment process. I hope they can do it in the time they stated in the email they have given in reply to the "status" email or hopefully less than that. I still have to find that out for myself in the last week of April (which is supposedly the time they finish the assessment). Also I still have to find out if I am going to receive an email or if I will just have to wait for the mail sent by post for the results.

Wala naman po nakalagay sa email nila kundi yung "Current Turnaround Time ng Assessment" Kaya ko po naman nalaman na April yung akin is binilang ko yung weeks ng assessment from the date dun sa EA Receipt (Kung kailan nila natanggap). Ang binigay nila is 16weeks. So for my case po that is approximately 3rd week to the last week of April. Automated generic yung reply nila.

By the way ngayon ko lang nabasa mayroon nakasulat na ganito sa huli nung email.

"Please make due allowance for delivery times per Australian Post, etc"

So medyo hindi ko na ieexpect na mag-eemail sila ng scanned copy bago ko makuha yung tunay na copy. Well kung may dumating man na email e di oks din. hehe!

Medyo marami-rami pala tayong nag apply sa EA...at least masaya pag marami tayong naghihintay ..hindi boring...

Idol ang yung email nila is generic lang na auto-reply. Para lang malaman kung ano ba ang current turnaround time ng assessment. Although minsan nakalagay din dun kung sino na makakatanggap ng results in the next few days. Ito meron nakalagay sa akin na..

" - CDR applications received on the 28 August 2012 are currently with an assessing case officer - formal advice of the outcomes will be generated within the next 10 days or so"

Nung January 14 pa yan idol. Try niyo email. Ang subject lang is "Status" then isend niyo sa [email protected]

February na idol. Mga march yung inyo tama? Hehe! E next week lang gitna na ng February. Ayus!

Hello po sa lahat!! Hingi lang sana ako ng inputs/guidance, plano ko na kasi mag-submit ng assessment for Professional Engineer sa EA.

March 2 yung schedule ko for IELTS GT exam and nag-sstart na rin ako mag-draft nung issubmit ko na CDR.

Tanong ko lang regarding sa "Recognized Overseas Qualification". Kapag na-assess ba ng EA na equivalent to Professional Engr yung qualification, i-aassess din ba nila na equivalent to "Bachelor Degree" in Au standard yung degree ko from Pinas?

Makukuha ko ba yung full 15 points for "Recognized Overseas Qualification" based sa assessment ng EA?

By the way, I'm a BSECE grad, I did not take the board kaya wala akong license but I have been working as a Product/Test Engineering Group Lead, 8 years sa Pinas, 2 years sa Thailand.

@lock_code2004, thanks sa response. for us who graduated from the phils, what is the assessment being given by EA?

for my case it will be similar to bachelor of science in engineering graduates in the philippines which is 10 years of primary/secondary education, followed by 5 years of university studies (no masteral units).
